<MARYLAND ORPHANAGE>
“Really?” The lady probably in her early thirties
asked and Miss Ruby nodded.
“Yes. I realize I was doing wrong by holding her
back just because I have grown attached to her,
but she has to live her own life, I don’t wanna be
the one hindering her happiness.” She said and
the lady smiled.
“Thanks Miss Ruby.” She said and Miss Ruby
smiled.
The door opened and Maggie walked in with
Snowy.
“Miss Clara!” Snowy called and the lady smiled
and opened her arms. Snowy giggled, running
into her embrace.
Miss Clara is a regular guest in the orphanage
home. She’s a divorcee with no child, and no
intention of getting remarried. She has always
come there, mainly to see Snowy. She grew
kinda of attached to her and have always
wanted to adopt her but Miss Ruby was
adamant on letting her go.
“You stopped coming for a while. I’ve missed
you.” Snowy pouted and Clara chuckled.
“Miss me no more, coz you’ll have to see me
everyday.” She winked and Snowy creased her
brows.
“Everyday??” She asked and Clara nodded.
“You’re going with her Snowy. She’s your new
mom.” Miss Ruby said and Snowy’s eyes
widened on their own.
“Really?!” She squealed and they nodded
smiling.
Snowy chuckled and hugged Clara, excitedly.

<MACDONALD’S MANSION>
“Whoa!!!” Snowy gushed as she got down the
car with her mouth down in amazement as she
stared at the beautiful house in front of her.
She had never seen such a huge and gorgeous
house before, she only heard of it but never
seen it.
“You like it?” Clara asked as she brought out
Snowy things from the car’s trunk.
“I love it!” She said, grinning and Clara smiled.
“I’m glad you do.” She said as they walked into
the house.
“This is your room.” Clara said, showing her the
room which was decorated in pink.
Snowy gasped looking at the room.
“Did… Have you been waiting for my arrival
since?” Snowy asked, blinking her eyes cutely.
“I’ll be lying if I said no.” Clara replied and held
her hand in hers.
“Since I met you at the orphanage Snowy, I
really wanted to adopt you. I wanted to take you
as my child since I had none but Miss Ruby
wouldn’t let me adopt you then. I’m glad she
finally did.” She said and Snowy smiled.
“Thanks mom.” Snowy said and Clara smiled.
“Call me that again.” She said and Snowy
smiled.
“Mom.” She called and Clara pulled her into a
hug.
“I’ll try my best to be a good mom to you, okay?”
She said, stroking her hair and Snowy smiled.
They broke the hug after a while and Snowy
settled in her new house. Although she found
everything strange, but she assured herself that
she was gonna adapt to the new environment
sooner or later.
Clara promised to enroll her into school
tomorrow and she was excited. She attended an
Orthodox school while she was in the
orphanage now she was changing school and
she was gonna meet with new people.
She was excited. She couldn’t wait for
tomorrow.

<CUPID HIGH SCHOOL>
Snowy rubbed her palms together as she waited
outside to be called in for the entrance exam.
She was extremely nervous as she stood there.
Even tho she was intelligent, she felt she wasn’t
up to this school’s standard and that made her
nervous.
She felt someone placed a hand on her shoulder
and she jolted. A relief sigh settled on her lips
on seeing the person.
“Mom.” She called.
“Deep breath Snowy. Don’t be scared, it’s just an
exam.” Clara said and she nodded.
“I will mom.” She said and her mom smiled. She
took in two deep breath before, smiling.
“There you go.” Clara smiled and stroked her
hair.
“Snowy MacDonald!” The teacher called and she
raised her hand.
“I’m here.” She said before walking towards the
hall.
“Snowy.” Her mom called in a whisper like tone
but Snowy heard her and turned.
“Goodluck!” She wished and Snowy nodded with
a smile before going in.
The teacher continued calling names till all the
students were in the hall and the exam begun
immediately.

“You ought to submit your assignment first
thing tomorrow morning and that to Starr. And
also, make sure you don’t forget to revise what I
taught you all today. Do you get me?” The
teacher asked and the students nodded.
“Yes ma!” They chorused and she nodded.
“And that’s all for today. Have a nice day!” She
said and walked out of the class.
“Phew! What are we having next?” Nico asked.
“Chemistry… But Mr Kim isn’t in school.” Rayne
answered from her seat.
“Big mouth! I wasn’t talking to!” Nico yelled at
her.
“And I wasn’t replying you either jerk!” Rayne
shot back and the two glared at each other
before facing the board.
“What sort of cousins fight like kids?” Baby
scoffed, irritatedly.
“Wh@tëver, doesn’t matter to me.” Brielle said,
bringing out a gum from her pocket.
“So you mean, we ain’t having chemistry class
today?” Max asked again to be sure.
“Obviously.” Rayne winked.
“How peculiar! I should get some sleep now, I
stayed awake all through last night on my PS.”
Max said resting his head on the table.
Starr simply brought out his book to read, and
Brittany was watching him from her seat.
“No matter what he does, he always look
breathtaking. Seriously? Is he human at all?”
She asked and Brielle scoffed.
“When will get rid of your silly obsession for this
guy? You’ve been in love with him since
elementary, he doesn’t like you, not even in the
slightest.” Brielle snorted.
“Learn to mind your Füçking business.” Brittany
shot and Brielle rolled her eyes.
“Wh@tëver.” She stood up from her seat and
walked towards Pierce who was pressing his
phone.
“Hey babe!” She called, sitting on his laps.
Pierce smiled dropping his phone on seeing her,
he placed a kiss on her lips, his hand squeezing
her @$$ and she giggled.
“Did you miss me last night?” She asked and
Pierce smirked.
“Why don’t you come over to my place tonight?”
He whispered in her ears and she giggled.
“Anything for my baby.” Brielle said and made
to kiss him again when…
“This is a classroom for crying out loud. Get a
room!” Rayne said loudly, rolling her eyes.
Brielle scoffed.
“Get a boyfriend if you’re jealous… Oops, I forgot
you can’t get a boyfriend with a face like a
runaway monkey. My bad!” She chuckled and
the students laughed.
Rayne gritted and immediately covered up with
a smile.
“You must be blind.” Rayne said and Brielle
clenched her jaws.
“It ain’t your fault that mirror can’t speak and
they can’t laugh idea. Have you ever wondered
while the students whenever you say
something? Coz your face is laughing stock.
Stop trying to act smart, you always make a
fool out of yourself whenever you do so.” Rayne
said with a wicked smile and that was enough
for Brielle to lose it.
Stomping on her feet, “How dare you?!” She
growled and grabbed Rayne’s hair and Rayne
grabbed hers as well and the two began
fighting.
The students began shouting. “They’re at it
again. I wish Brielle can beat up that bítch, but
sadly she can’t.” Baby hissed and continued
pressing her phone.
“Had it been someone else, I’d have stepped in.”
Brittany said, and glanced at Starr before facing
her phone.
“Are you really gonna sit here and watch them
hit your girlfriend.” Brett asked and Pierce
scoffed.
“Who said she was my girlfriend?” He replied
with a smirk watching the two girls fight
themselves.
“Wowww.”
They were still fighting when Mr Kim walked
into the classroom with a girl, apparently a new
student.
“What’s going on here?!” He asked and Brielle
and Rayne disengaged immediately – glaring at
each other.
“She started it.” Brielle pointed at her Rayne.
“Shut up! You started it!” Rayne shot back and
they made to bicker again when Mr Kim
interjected.
“Stop it you two! How can you two be fighting in
my class?!” He yelled at them and they bowed
their heads.
“Sorry Mr Kim.” Rayne apologized.
“Sorry, but I wasn’t at fault. This bítch here–“
“I said keep quiet! Haven’t I warned you against
the use of cuss words?!” Mr Kim questioned.
“Sorry sir…” She said and Mr Kim heaved.
“Detention you two!” He said and the two glared
at each other before grudgingly leaving the
class.
Then Mr Kim turned to the students.
“How can you guys let such thing happen in the
class? And Starr, what were you doing while
they were fighting?” Mr Kim queried.
“Isn’t it obvious? He’s not worthy to lead the
class.” Pierce said from where he sat.
Starr ignored him and faced Mr Kim.
“I’m sorry sir.” He apologized and Mr Kim
exhaled, then he faced the girl he came in with.
“I’m sorry you had to see this… Please introduce
yourself.” He urged and the girl nodded.
“Hi everyone. I’m Aubrey, a new student. I hope I
enjoy my stay here.” She said with a smile.
“Welcome.” The students replied and she
nodded.
“Get a seat.” Mr Kim said and she nodded
before walking to the seat beside Max.
“So everyone, bring out your chemistry
notebook.” He said and the students grudgingly
obeyed.
“I thought your sister said he wasn’t coming.”
Max grumbled.
“Are you that daft to believe what Rayne says?”
Nico frowned.

“Mom!” Snowy squealed and hugged Clara.
“Snowy! How was the exam?” Clara asked.
“I smashed it mom! I passed the exam!!” She
exclaimed and Clara gasped.
“Really?”
“Yes!”
“Wow! Excellent! Well done Snowy!” She said,
patting her head and she smiled.
Actually, the results comes out whenever they’re
done with the exam. So immediately she
submitted the exam, she knew her fate.
“Let’s go see the principal.” Cassidy said and
Snowy nodded, following her behind.

Snowy smiled, walking round the school in
admiration. She couldn’t believe she was a
student of the school. They already done the
necessary, and her mom went out to pay the
fees so she was checking around.
The school was very big so she couldn’t view
everywhere, she just viewed the places which
was close by and that was the library, the
cafeteria and the school’s garden.
She was still in the school’s garden, checking it
out while taking photos of the place with her
phone.
“Wow… So many beautiful flowers I never knew
exist.” She gushed as she took pictures of it.
While still taking pictures, she kept stepping
back and she didn’t know someone was coming
behind, so she bumped into the person, not only
that. Since she was short and the person was
taller, her head ended up hitting the person’s lips
and the guy screamed in pain.
“Oww!!” He winced as he took in his hurting lips
which was bleeding, he was already squatting
in pains.
Snowy turned immediately to see who she
bumped into… It was none other than… Pierce!
“Oh my gawd! I’m so sorry.” She said and
squatting before him.
His eyes were closed and his face crumpled in
pains.
“I’m sorry.” She apologized and held his face up.
Her finger brushed his lips and she stared at
him pitifully.
Pierce slowly opened his eyes and the first thing
his eyes caught was her red plump lips which
looked enchanting.
He gulped down nothing as his eyes slowly
moved up to her face.
“Are you okay?” Snowy asked, staring directly
into his eyes.
“I…” His head was blank and his mouth couldn’t
form a word. He was dazed for about some
seconds before he got himself.
He slapped her hand off his face and stood up,
still sucking on his lips.
“Are you blind? Why–“
“I’m sorry! I didn’t know you were coming from
behind. I don’t have eyes behind, it’s partly your
fault, you saw me coming. You could have
stopped me!” Snowy said with a shrug and
Pierce blinked his eyes in disbelief.
Three offence in a day.
First was bumping into him. Second was being
dangerously beautiful and third was countering
him.
Seriously?! This is the first he has ever had to
encounter with a lady.
“Who are you?” He asked and Snowy smiled
sweetly. If only she knew how perilous her smile
was, she would stop immediately.
“I’m a new student. Actually, I came for my
entrance exam which I already wrote and I
passed, so I’ll be starting tomorrow.” She said
and Pierce scoffed.
“What grade?” He asked instead as that was
only what he was interested in knowing and she
smiled again.
“Grade 11.” She said and Pierce gave a one-
sided smile.
“Interesting. See you tomorrow then.” He said
before walking away and Snowy furrowed his
brows.
“What was that? Hmph! Rude boy!” She snorted,
before leaving the garden.

<SHOPPING MALL>
Snowy walked into the shopping mall with her
mom, she came to get some things she’ll be
needing for school tomorrow.
If there’s any word more than excited, that’s her
right now.
They got all the things they needed and Clara
paid for it, then they began walking out of the
shopping mall.
As Snowy and Clara walked out, Starr was also
walking into the mall through the other door,
and by that they passed each other.
They dropped the things they bought in the car’s
trunk and Snowy got into the car immediately.
Clara got in as well and put on her seatbelt
while Snowy was checking herself on the side
mirror, she suddenly gasped.
“What’s it?” Clara asked.
“My pink hairclip, I didn’t take it? Or could it
have fallen?” She asked.
“You sure you clipped it on?” Her mom asked
and she nodded affirming.
“Yeah, I’m sure. I forgot it back in the mall,
maybe when I was picking these bracelets. I’ll
be back mom.” She said and immediately took
off her seatbelt, running out of the car before
Clara could object.
“Snowy!” She had already gone into the mall.
She ran towards the jewelry section and
immediately she got there, she saw the hairclip
on the table and she picked it up, and
immediately began leaving in a hurry.
Starr got the milk he wanted and immediately
he turned around, Snowy bumped into him.
She was about falling but he grabbed her hand,
pulling her closer and she ended colliding on his
chest. The milk he was holding fell off his hand
in the process, falling to the ground.
Snowy panted heavily with her head buried on
his chest. She slowly raised her head to see who
it was that saved her, and her eyes widened on
seeing Starr.
Her jaw fell as she stared at him, his pure hazel
eyes staring narrowed at her. His orange lips
looking tempting. His sharp jawline and pointed
nose. He looked handsome but the dull look
what was caught her attention the most.
She didn’t know why she felt attached to him.
