<RESTROOM>
Brittany stormed in angrily. She held the basin fuming furiously. She looked at her reflection on the mirror and huffed.
Her mind went to earlier when she was dancing on the stage but instead of Starr staring at them, all through his gaze was on Snowy.
“Argh!!” She yelled out angrily.
As if to add to her anger, Snowy chose to walk in that moment.
She acted like she didn’t see her and walked into the toilet to do her thing, then she walked out again. She washed her hand in the sink next to the one that Brittany was standing.
Snowy finished and dabbed her hand with a handkerchief. Just as she was about walking out, Brittany stopped her.
“You must be happy. You got his attention.” She said and Snowy turned to her.
“Are… You talking to me?” She asked and Brittany scoffed.
“Is there any other person here?” She asked and Snowy smiled.
“Maybe you could be talking to yourself.” Snowy shrugged and made to walk out again.
“Don’t you dare take a step.” Brittany warned and Snowy looked at her.
“Follow me.” Brittany said and began walking out of the restroom.
“And what makes you think I would?” Snowy scoffed.
“It’s not an opinion.” Brittany smirked.

<ABANDONED STORE ROOM>
“Let go off me!” Snowy yelled, yanking her hand off Brittany’s hold.
“What are we doing here?” Snowy asked as they got to the abandoned store room. It has not been used for days that the students have forgotten it’s existence.
Some don’t even know about it. It was also some metres far away from the school building.
“The janitor asked me to get something here. I couldn’t go alone so I needed a company.” Brittany said and Snowy scoffed.
“You think I’ll believe that. You literally dragged me here.”
“Believe wh@tëver you want. Since we’re having a beef, talking it out here would be the best.” She said and began opening the door.
Snowy scoffed.
“We’ve got no beef dummy. Sort your differences in the mirror.” Snowy said and began walking away but Brittany dragged her back by her hair and slammed her head again the wall.
Snowy slumped and fell with blood oozing from her head.
Brittany gasped and immediately checked her pulse. She exhaled in relief when she found out she was still breathing.
She immediately opened the door and she was greeted by the choking dust. She coughed as she tried to wave off the smell.
She dragged Snowy in and laid her on the floor then she looked at her.
“I’m sorry, but whoever tries to stop me from getting what I want, would have to pay for it.” She said and walked out, then she locked the door behind.
Even tho Snowy screams when she wakes up, nobody would hear her coz the room was far away from the school’s main building.
She thought with a smirk as she walked away.

“Brittany!” Starr called as he bumped into her.
“Starr…” She called.
“Have you seen Snowy around?” He asked and the smile on Brittany’s face fell. She almost hissed but covered it up.
“No I haven’t.” She said and Starr ruffled his hair.
Where could she be? There’s no way she could have gone home.
Pierce suddenly appeared from nowhere and grabbed Brittany’s arm roughly and began pulling her to God knows where but Brittany angrily yanked her hand off his.
“What do you think you’re doing?” She questioned and Pierce scoffed.
“Where’s she?” Pierce asked and it was Brittany’s time to scoff.
“Are you insane? Why would you be asking me that?” She asked and Pierce smiled.
“You seem to know who I’m talking about.” He said and Brittany blinked before huffing.
“Where have you kept her?” He asked and Brittany glared at him.
“I don’t know what you’re talking about. Get out of my way.” She said and made to walk away but Pierce grabbed her back.
“I know you know where she is. You’re the only one who could have done that, answer while I’m asking nicely unless you want the school authority to get involved.” Pierce said and Brittany smirked walking closer.
“Do you have a proof that I have her?” She whispered to his ears and grinned wickedly before walking away.
Pierce gritted his teeth.
“What was that?” Starr asked and Pierce walked away.
<6PM>
The competition has come to an end and everyone had returned home. Starr managed to get Clara home without informing her of what happend to Snowy.
They’ve informed the security of the situation and he was helping out. The CCTV doesn’t film the restroom and the hallway that leads to the abandoned store room so they couldn’t get any idea where she went.
“Snowy!” Aubrey called.
“Snowy!” Rayne called.
“Are you sure she’s still in school?” Aubrey asked tiredly and stopped walking.
They’ve searched the whole school but couldn’t find her.
“She’s not at home.” Starr said, using the phone’s flashlight to see through the dark.
“I’m sure someone is behind this. Snowy can’t just walk away like that.” Rayne said and turned to Pierce.
“And what are you doing here?” She asked, he was also with them.
“You’ve asked this for about 23 times now. Don’t you know better that I won’t answer that?” He said and Rayne scoffed.
“Don’t tell me you like Snowy.” She said.
“What if I do?” Pierce asked.
“She’s not your type!” Rayne said.
“Why? Coz she’s not my cousin?” He smirked and Rayne blinked.
“I see you fancy romantic affair with your relative–“
“He’s not my cousin!”
“Did I ever mention your cousin?” He smirked and Rayne gritted.
Pierce chuckled walking after Starr who had already gone far.
“That idiot. How did he find out?” She muttered and Aubrey hissed, walking away completely pissed.
“Hey weirdo, do you have an idea where you’re going? Why do you think she’ll be here?” Pierce asked after Starr with his hands in his pocket.
Starr stopped walking.
“Hey, I’m talking to you.” Pierce said when he got to him and when he wouldn’t reply, he trailed his gaze.
“No way. Is that Snowy’s phone?” He asked and Starr picked it up. He turned it on and his photo popped up on the screen.
It was one of the phone she took of him unawarely.
“That means She’s somewhere here.” Pierce said.
Rayne and Aubrey got to them.
“What’s that?” Rayne looked at it.
“Snowy’s phone.” Aubrey said.
“How did it get here? It only means she was here… But how could it be… This place leads to the abandoned store room, how did Snowy know this place?” Rayne asked and immediately Starr ran away.
The rest followed him.
“Snowy!”
“Snowy!” They called as they ran towards the store room.

Snowy woke up with a loud wince. She held her head which was throbbing hell and she gasped when she met with the darkness.
She suddenly remember Brittany dragging her there.
“My phone…” She said, searching the dark for it but she almost cried remembering it had fallen from her while been dragged here.
“Damnit. Is anyone out there! Help me!!” She yelled, as she found her way to the door in the dark.
Seems like she was laying close to it coz it was easy to locate.
“Anyone out there! Help!” She screamed again banging the door.
“Where’s this place?” She wondered, she never knew there was an abandoned store room in CHS.
“Help me!!”
“Snowyyy!!!” Rayne and Aubrey called the same time.
“Snowy!!!” Starr called.
“Snowy where are you?” Rayne asked as they searched around.
Snowy’s eyes widened when she heard their voice.
“Rayne… Starr… They’re here…” She gasped and continued banging the door.
“Rayne! I’m here!! Starr!!! Over here!!!” She shouted.
“Snowy!”
“Gosh, I’m so tired.” Rayne mumbled.
“No one is forcing you here.” Pierce said and she rolled her eyes.
“Starr! I’m over here! Help! Rayne!” They gasped.
“Isn’t that Snowy’s voice?” They exchanged glances and immediately, they all took to their heels.
“Snowy!!” Starr called as he got to the abandoned store room.
“Starr…” Snowy mumbled and Starr immediately rushed to the door.
“Snowy are you alright? Hang in there.. we’re here for you.” Aubrey said and she could hear Snowy’s muffles.
“It’s locked.” Pierce said and Starr immediately began kicking the door.
“Tsk, you don’t have any muscle, so you’re only wasting your time by doing this. Let me.” Pierce said, pushing Starr off and he kicked the door, but it didn’t open.
Starr pushed him and kicked the door and it didn’t bulge, then Pierce pushed him again and kicked it.
They kept pushing eachother aside and kicking the door till Starr finally broke it open.
“Yes, I could do that. I just wanted you to be the hero since she’s your girl.” Pierce said but Starr didn’t reply him. He went in.
Aubrey and Rayne pushed him aside as well and went in.
“Snowy…”
Snowy hugged Starr tightly, crying on his shoulder.
“Snowy are you alright. Who this to you?” Aubrey asked.
“Stop crying.” Rayne said.
“I’m sorry.” Starr said, stroking her hair.
Pierce huffed as he watched them.
“This is more boring than I thought.” He mumbled.

<MACDONALD’S MANSION>
Starr pressed the doorbell and waited for the door to be opened.
He looked at Snowy who had a dull expression. The blood on her face had been wiped and she had a small cut on her head. She didn’t want her mom to get worried so she had told Starr not to tell her.
She was wearing his jacket as her dress was dirty.
“Snowy…” Clara called as she opened the door and Snowy looked at her with a smile.
“Mom.” She called and hugged her.
“This brat. Where did you disappear to? I looked for you everywhere.” Clara said.
“I’m sorry mom.” Snowy said and Clara smiled.
“Thanks Starr.” She said to Starr who shook his head.
“It’s nothing ma. I owe you guys alot.” He said and Clara smiled.
“Mind joining us for dinner?” She asked and Starr opened his mouth to speak.
“No is not an option.” She said immediately and Starr chuckled.
“C’mon c’mon, let’s go in.” She dragged the two in and they smiled.

<CAMPBELL’S MANSION>
SLAP!!
“Jackson!”
“You good for nothing daughter? Rather than focusing on your studies, you go about causing troubles in school and ruining this family’s name!” Jackson Campbell yelled at Brittany who had her head bowed slightly.
Her hands rubbing gently on her red cheek.
“How dare you?!” He made to hit her again when his mom stepped in between.
“Stop it Jackson! Hitting her won’t do any good. We can settle this calmly–“
“Calmly you say! This good for nothing daughter keeps getting worst every single day and it’s all because of you! You silly woman, you keep taking her side every single time making her grow wings!” Jackson yelled and Mrs Campbell scoffed.
“Now it is my fault! Have you forgotten you’re the one who made her this way? If you were gonna start hating her someday, while did you shower her with love in the first!”
“Shut up woman!”
“I won’t! Our daughter turned this way because of you! You’re a despicable man.”
“How dare you bítch!”
“That’s enough!” Brittany yelled covering her ears as tears rolled freely down her cheeks.
“Baby…” Mrs Campbell called, holding her shoulder.
“It seems I’ve given you alot of freedom and this is the end of it all. I was gonna wait till you get to college but not anymore. You’ll complete your high school education in Australia.” He said and Brittany shook her head.
“No…”
“Jackson!”
“My decision is final. Get yourself ready! You’re leaving next week!” Jackson said and climbed the stairs.
“Jackson! No way! She can’t go to Australia!” Mrs Campbell said running after him.
Brittany fell to the floor, hugging her knees as she cried a river.

<MACDONALD’S MANSION>
Starr was seated in the dining room when Clara served the dishes. She has prepared so many food like they were having a feast.
“Thank you aunt.” Starr said and Clara smiled.
“It’s okay. And you can call me mom from now on.” Clara said and Starr looked at her.
“Mom! Why would he call you mom?” Snowy said as she descended the stairs. She had freshen up and was now wearing a new dress.
“You made me his mom remember?” Clara said as she sat down.
“We made an agreement remember.” Clara reminded.
“Can we not talk about that now?” Snowy said and Clara chuckled.
“Do you like it?” Clara asked Starr who nodded.
“Yes. It’s delicious.” He said
“Making delicious food is my specialty. Back then, I was known as magic hands coz my food was a magic recipe.” She said and Starr chuckled.
“Don’t mind her.” Snowy said.
“So, what do you like about my daughter?” Clara asked and Snowy choked on her food.
Starr immediately gave her a glass of water.
“Mom!” She whined after drinking the water
“Daughter!”
Starr chuckled at their mother and daughter drama. He faced Clara.
“Well… I like everything about her. Snowy is a sweet person.” He said and Snowy blushed.
“Look at her.” Clara said and Snowy covered her face.
“Mom! Geez!” Snowy whined and they laughed.
Starr stared at them. All his life, he had never have a happy moment with his family that he started wishing he was an orphan.
She had just a single mother and she was happy while him who had the two… Life is two sided.
He had come to realise there are happy and sad moments in life and his sad moments were with his family and his happy moments were with them.
Right then, he wanted to choose this happy moments over the sad one. He had had enough of the sad moments, it’s time to be happy for real.
