👥 Hey, the results are out!
👥 Omg! Did you see my name!
👥 Whoa! Lemme check mine!
👥 Excuse me!
Students clustered at the noticeboard to check
their results. It was out and was pasted on the
noticeboard.
“I’m so nervous right now.” Aubrey said, rubbing
her palms together as she walked to the
noticeboard with Snowy and Rayne.
“I am not coz as expected, I’ll be dragging with
Brittany again and I’m sure this time I beat her.”
Rayne said proudly and they scoffed.
“What’s that line again? About pride…” Snowy
asked Aubrey.
“Pride goes down before jail?”
“Exactly!” Snowy affirmed and Aubrey chuckled.
“You guys just don’t know me, everyone out of
my way!” Rayne said as she got to the
noticeboard and the students paved way.
She walked straight to the board and began
searching for her name with Snowy and Aubrey
beside her, checking theirs as well.
“What!!” Rayne suddenly screamed and Snowy
and Aubrey turned to her.
“What happened?” They asked at the same time
before following her gaze.
Starr took the first position as usual. Brittany
came second. Snowy third, Rayne came fourth
and Brett fifth.
“Oh my gawd! You came third Snowy!” Aubrey
squealed but Snowy didn’t reply, she was still
checking her result.
Her eyes widened when she saw what she was
looking for.
“Oh my God! I got 92 points in maths!!!” She
screamed and they gasped.
“Really?” Aubrey asked and checked it with
Rayne and they gasped.
“Bombshell!!” Rayne gushed.
“How did you do it?” Aubrey asked.
“I did it! I did it!” Snowy ran away, exclaiming all
the way to only God knows where.
“Geez, where’s she going?” Aubrey asked and
chuckled then she checked her own result.
“What! 8th?!” She screamed.
“At least you tried.”
“Easy for you to say coz you came 4th.”
“My parents are gonna give me an earful for
this. Tsk.” Rayne said and just then the Brielle
and Baby arrived.
“Make way! Make way everyone! Get out!” Brielle
said as they walked straight to the noticeboard
and the students gave way.
“What are you doing? Didn’t you hear, move
aside.” Brielle scoffed and Rayne scoffed.
“So people who pass from the back also check
their results?” She muttered and Brielle glared at
her.
“Bîtch…” She gritted and Rayne smirked.
“Quick advice, try looking for you name from the
bottom to save others the stress of having to
wait for you. Just a harmless advice, no other
person will give you that.” She winked before
walking away with Aubrey.
They had only taken few steps when they saw
Nico and Max, seems they were also going to
the noticeboard.
“Nico!” Rayne called running to him.
Max gasped surprisedly. Did she just call him by
his name.
Nico pretended not to hear and continued
walking but she ran to his front.
“We need to talk.”
“I don’t need to talk.” He said and made to walk
away but she blocked him again. This time she
grabbed his hand and pulled him away.
“That’s new.” Max said as he walked to the
noticeboard.
“What the heck! 7th!!!” Baby yelled as kept
looking at her result hoping it will change as she
did so but nothing happened.
“Whoa! 6th… Cool.” Max smirked beside her and
she glared at him.
Another reason she h@tëd him was because
they always had to compete with their result. If
she beats him this term, he does the same next
term.
Their results have always been interwoven.
Baby glared h@tëfully at Max before storming
out.

Brett and Pierce were just walking out of the
basketball court when Snowy ran past them.
“Seriously, what’s with her? Where’s she heading
to?” Pierce asked Brett as if he had an idea.
“As I look like a mind reader.” He replied and
Pierce scoffed.
“She must be looking for that dummy… Tsk, no
matter how I think of it. I feel there’s something
going on between those two.” Pierce said and
Brett chuckled.
“Weren’t you the same one who said he could
never have something to do with a lady? What
happened?” Brett asked and Pierce punched his
elbow.
“Füçk you man!” He groaned.
“Füçk your naughty @$$ scvmbag!” He lashed
back and Brett scoffed.
“Coming to think of it, it’s been long I heard you
talk about a lady you laid down. When last did
you Füçk a Bîtch or have you repented?” Brett
asked with a naughty smirk and Pierce scoffed.
“Repent my foot. Why did you think I didn’t pick
up your call yesterday? I was having a good
Füçk.” He shrugged and Brett scoffed.
“Blatant lie. The Pierce I know would pick up so I
could hear the girl’s Mõ@n, just to brag about
being the baddest playboy. C’mon, you’ve
changed.” Brett said and he scoffed.
“I changed no Füçking way. Get some sense
dude.” He snapped.
“Tell me, who is it? Who stole the heart? And
change my playboy friend?” He asked and
Pierce scoffed.
“You’re talking nonsense.” He said and began
walking faster than Brett.
He suddenly stopped when he saw Aubrey
talking to a boy close to the school’s gate.
Looking closely he saw it was the boy from
Dream High, the same who was Aubrey was
talking to at the competition.
“What’s she doing??” He wondered as he stared
at them. She was talking with smiles on her
face and she kept tucking her hair behind her
ear as if to show off her pretty charms.
“Seriously?” He scoffed as he got closer to
them.
“You’re really beautiful. You’ve got a pretty
small eyes, whenever I look at you I get
reminded of the star.” He said and Pierce
scoffed.
“Awwn, thank you.” Aubrey gushed.
“Odd pickup line… Does she have odd taste in
men?” He wondered in disgust.
“What’s going on here?” He asked, not hiding his
displeasure at all.
“Oh… Pierce.” She called with a smile and he
scoffed before looking at the guy.
“Is he the goofy brother you talked about?” The
boy whispered to Aubrey who nodded.
“Yes, he’s the one.” She replied back in the same
tone and Pierce scoffed.
He could clearly hear everything they said.
Goofy? Wow!
“Hey, looks like you’ve got a malaria. Coz look
closely, she’s got a big eye and she isn’t dead,
so why would she remind you of the stars?”
Pierce asked rudely and Aubrey pressed his
arms.
“You’re embarrassing him Pierce.” She
whispered.
“That’s what I want. How can you be smiling at
his odd pickup line? Are you that dumb?!” Pierce
said.
“Dumb you say?! I thought we agreed to stay as
strangers! Why are you interfering in my
affair?!” She yelled at him and Pierce scoffed.
“Is this what you’re gonna say when I’m saving
you from this beast?” He asked.
“Are you any different? At least he’s better than
you. He treats me nicely me. Tells me I’m pretty,
but do you ever do that? When you wouldn’t,
why stop someone else from doing that?!” She
yelled.
“That’s enough. Get the hell out of here!” Pierce
said angrily.
“I won’t! I’m going with him.” She said and
Pierce closed his eyes to control his anger.
His fists was tightly clenched.
“I said leave now Aubrey!”
“No I’m not! I going with him! Let’s go Daniel.”
Aubrey said, dragging Daniel away.
Pierce clenched his teeth as he watched them
leave.
“No way! Pierce, you’re in love?”
“Füçk you!” Pierce yelled before walking away
and Brett remained standing, speechlessly.
Cat got his tongue for real.

<7PM>
Snowy wouldn’t stop sighing as she made her
way to the trash centre to dispose their waste.
Her eyes glued to ground as she dragged her
feet there.
She suddenly stopped as she felt another
presence with her. She looked up.
“Huh… You’re here?” Snowy grinned, running
fast to him.
Starr smiled.
“Hey.” He called and she suddenly frowned.
“I thought you got a nickname for me.” She said
and Starr chuckled.
“Angel.” He called sweetly and she smiled.
“That’s more like it. Where were you? I couldn’t
find you. I wanted to tell you something urgent.”
Snowy said and Starr raised a brow.
“What is it?” He asked softly and she grinned.
“I got 92% in maths!” She exclaimed and Starr
smiled warmly.
Snowy wouldn’t stop grinning.
“Well done.” He said, patting her head.
“There’s no way you’re doing that. My gift young
man.” She frowned and Starr cackled.
“I’m not kidding at all. I said if I wanted a pat on
my head, I’d go to my mom. I’d even have to
study hard, she’ll give me a pat.” She said and
Starr sighed.
“Now you’re making me jealous. I don’t have a
mom to give me that, my wish has always been
to have a pat on my head whenever I had good
grades but I never got one.” He said and Snowy
sighed feeling guilty.
“I… I didn’t mean to make you sad. It’s just that…
It’s okay, you can pat my head. Pat me like your
pet, I don’t mind.” Snowy said and Starr nodded
and began patting her head.
“Yes… Like that.”
“Good girl. You did great.” Starr said and Snowy
nodded sadly.
“Dispose off your trash. We have somewhere to
go.” Starr said and began walking away with his
hands in his pocket.
Snowy eyes widened.
“What! Where are we going?” She asked running
after him.
“I said dispose your trash first.”
“I’ve done that, so tell me. Where?”
“Tsk… You’re impatient.”
“I get that all the time. What is it?…”

<CLARKE’S MANSION>
Pierce was in the living room playing a video
game when Aubrey climbed down the stairs.
From the way she could dressed someone could
tell she was going out, like for a date or a party
coz she was dressed to… Geez, hot!
Pierce looked up and raised his brows.
Aubrey rolled her eyes before turning to him.
“A date.” She said and Pierce scoffed.
There’s no way she was going on a date with a
guy she met just two days ago.
“You’re not going on a date with that Daniel guy,
are you?” He asked and Aubrey smirked.
“Well, story to burst your bubbles. He’s the one.”
She said and Pierce blinked.
“Are you insane?! You just met him.”
“People do far worst with people they met just in
the space of hours. I’m not a kid, so save your
darn lectures to yourself. I’m almost 18 for
crying out loud!” She yelled.
“Kid or adult, you’re not going anywhere!” He
said and Aubrey’s phone began ringing.
She looked at the caller and showed him her
phone.
“Try stopping me if you can.” She said and
began walking out of the house.
“Aubrey! Aubrey stop right there! Don’t step out!
Aubrey!” Pierce yelled but she didn’t stop.
She walked out of the house.
“WTH is wrong with her? Seriously?” He said
sitting back.
‘Go after her!’ His subconscious said but he
shook it off. His ego was bigger than that.
Worrying about her was already enough for him
to handle. She choose that weird dude over him,
so he was not gonna care about what happens
to her ever again.
He thought and sighed. He couldn’t help but
worry.
“Darn it!”

<BEACH>
“Wow. The night breeze is awesome.” Snowy
said, tucking her hair behind her ear but that
didn’t stop it from flying and covering her eyes.
“Lemme help you.” He said, bringing out a
beautiful pink hairband from his pocket.
Snowy gushed at it
“Where did you get that?” She asked as she
stared at it.
That was the exact same hairband her mom got
for her on her seventh birthday. She had always
protected it but she lost it. She haven’t’t seen the
same type of hairband around for the past
years so how did he get it?
“Someone left it with me.” He said and she
furrowed her brows.
“Who??”
“You.” He said and Snowy arched her brows.
“Me?” She asked and he nodded.
“Don’t you remember. The small boy you met
crying alone at the river side. The one you
comforted.” He said and she furrowed her
brows, trying to think.
“I don’t remember.” She said and Starr raised his
brows.
“How can’t you remember? The little kid you…”
“You see, I’m a very lovely person so I tend to
comfort everyone I see crying. So I don’t
remember a little boy out of the millions I’ve
met.” She said and Starr gasped.
He immediately brought his phone and
searched for a photo and he showed her. It was
his childhood photo.
“Does this ring a bell?” He asked and Snowy
shook her head.
“Not at all. I don’t think I’ve ever met this face.”
He said and Starr shook his head.
“Look closely. You’ve seen it somewhere, try to
remember.” He said and Snowy shook her head.
“I don’t remember this face at all.” She said and
Starr sighed.
“She doesn’t even remember me.” He muttered
and she gasped.
“You! It was you! The crybaby was you?!” She
gasped and Starr looked at her.
“You remember?”
“Why wouldn’t I remember? The crybaby with
running nose yet still acting stubborn. I must
say, you’ve always been proud since you were
small.” She said and Starr smiled.
“But I didn’t have a running nose that day.”
“Lair.” She said and they both laughed.
“My gosh. You have my hairband! I thought I
had lost it.” Snowy gushed, collecting the
hairband from him.
“It fell from you that day.” He said and Snowy
smiled.
“Thank you for keeping it. That’s the only gift I
have from my parents.” She said and Starr
looked at her.
“Huh?”
“That day you saw me. I had run away from the
orphanage. My parents just died, and it hadn’t
been up to a month. I couldn’t stay in the
orphanage so I ran away. Silly me.” She
laughed.
“You mean, aunt Clara isn’t your biological
mom?” He asked and she nodded.
“Yeah.” She said and Starr wowed.
“How did they die?” He asked and she looked at
him.
“In a fire accident. It was my fault actually. I
tampared with the gas, and then… My mom
went there… That was how the whole house
caught fire. I was outside playing with my
friends and my parents… I’m really stupid.” She
said biting her lips to stop the tears from falling.
Starr watched her as she fought back the tears.
“Why didn’t you ever beat yourself up for it?” He
asked and she smiled.
“I did. But my parents told me it wasn’t my fault.
90% of what happens in life is purely our
destiny. 10% is circvmstance. It was parents
time to die, had I tampared with the gas or not.
You can’t change your fate can you?” She
smiled and Starr smiled at her.
He admires this girl here alot.
“Come to think of it. If my parents hadn’t die, I
wouldn’t have run away from that orphanage
and I probably wouldn’t have met you, coz I
wouldn’t have gotten adopted by Aunt Clara and
I probably won’t even be living in California.”
She grinned and Starr chuckled.
He held her hands in his and smiled.
“How do you always end all sad conversation
with a joke?” He asked and she laughed.
“Thank you.” He said and Snowy smiled.
“Thank you for coming to my life. If you haven’t,
I would have still been a loner. You made
understand what life truly is. There are ups and
downs in life. Darkness and light. Snowy, you’re
the best thing that has happened to me.” He
said and Snowy cheeks were already redder
than tomatoes.
She had to fan herself with her hand in other not
to suffocate.
‘Say the three magic words already!’ She
screamed inwardly.
“I…” He stuttered and Snowy stared at him
expectantly.
‘That’s it. Say it!’
“I…” Starr stuttered again..
‘C’mon, what’s hard there? It’s just I love you. It
shouldn’t be hard, Say it.’ She said inwardly.
“I think I…”
‘C’mon… Füçking say it already. This suspense
is too much.’ She cried inwardly.
“I like you Snowy. For real.” He finally said and
Snowy scoffed immediately.
“So all this just to say, ‘I like you’?” She rolled her
eyes and Starr blinked his eyes speechlessly.
