“Tsk… I can’t believe I’m doing this right now!
Seriously!” Baby complained.
They were cleaning the school compound.
“Hey, will you stop nagging? No one asked you
to interfere.” Aubrey glared at her and Baby only
rolled her eyes.
Rayne suddenly dropped her broom and faced
Starr and Pierce who were sweeping lazily.
“What did you two do that we have to suffer for
it? I’ve never arranged my bed talk more of
sweeping!” She yelled at them.
Pierce scoffed and looked at her. He angrily
dropped his broom and began walking to her.
The first three buttons of his shirt were opened
and his shirt was flied out.
“Hey skinny brat… No one asked you to get
yourself involved…”
“You don’t speak to my girlfriend like that!” Nico
warned and Pierce scoffed.
“And who are you? What will you do?” He asked
and Nico walked to his.
“Call her skinny one more time.” He dared.
He touched his back head. “What sort of joke is
this?” He mumbled.
“You two stop it, let’s just cooperate and finish
this in time.” Aubrey stood in their middle.
Nico walked away.
“You should have just let them fight.” Max
mumbled and Aubrey glared at him.
Pierce suddenly scoffed turning to Starr.
“Why should I do this? You were the one who
said you’ll do this! Why should I?” Pierce asked
and Starr threw his broom with a frown.
“Are you serious right now?! I got involved in
your own mess and you pinned the blame all on
me. You should be grateful I’m helping out,”
Starr said.
“Grateful you say? Wow, you sneaky punk–” And
Snowy hit his head with her broom.
“I told you never to insult my boyfriend!” She
yelled at him and Pierce blinked, holding his
head.
“Seriously! You– He caused this and–“
“Damnit! Can you all just stop fighting and let’s
finish up this work! We still have to clean the
toilets! The field! Cafeteria! And instead of
working, we’re fighting?!” Aubrey yelled
frustratedly and Pierce scoffed.
“Why should we? You caused all this!” Pierce
said and Aubrey blinked.
“Me??” She raised her brows.
“Yes you! If you had listened to me and not go
out with that guy that day, none of this would
have happened! If we’re looking at that, you
should be the only one to clear this mess.” He
said and Aubrey laughed.
“Ridiculous! I never asked you to beat his
friends!” She yelled.
“Are you serious right now?! Is that all you can
say?”
“Geez… This is driving crazy! Aish…” She gritted
walking away angrily.
“d@mn! You’re such a big jerk!” Rayne muttered
and Pierce only puffed out air, ruffling his hair
frustratedly.
He left as well.
“What’s this?! He’s leaving when he created this
mess! Hey punk!!” Nico yelled.

MONTHS LATER…
👥 Have you seen your name?
👥 No! I’m nervous.
👥 The results came out early don’t you think?
👥 Ow… Keep looking.
The students clustered around the noticeboard
mumbled amongst themselves as they checked
their names on the noticeboard.
Their last term results were out and pasted on
the board.
Rayne, Nico and Aubrey were amongst the
crowd.
“O.M.G! Aubrey, Snowy! Look!” Rayne suddenly
exclaimed and they looked at her.
“What?”
“Starr came second!” Rayne yelled, battling her
lashes and the two girls gasped in disbelief.
That has never happened. He was unshakeable
in his spot coz he’s always coming first with
99% average. Rumors had that the teachers
were intentionally not giving him 100% as they
were afraid it would mean he’s more intelligent
than them.
“You’re kidding me. Then who came first?”
Aubrey asked and Snowy just remained
standing with widened eyes.
“WTF!! Snowy came first! How did you do it
Snowy?” They both turned to her and Snowy
who was staring at her name on the board…
1ST PLACE – SNOWY MYLES – 97%
She was still staring at the name when
something crossed her mind.
<FLASHBACK>
“Second? Seriously! Second with 96%!” Snowy
scoffed staring at her result in disbelief.
How could she come second with such
excellent performance!
“C’mon you tried.” Starr said, walking into the
living room with two glass of juice. They were in
his house.
“Easy for you to say coz you’re unshakeable.
Geez! How do you do it? I literally burnt the
midnight candle. I even soaked my legs in water
all night. Drank all types of milk and read all
sort of textbook, I still couldn’t beat you.” She
whined.
“Wow, don’t tell me your dream was to
overthrow me.” Starr said sitting beside her.
“Of course. What’s in that your brain. Why is it
difficult to overtake you?” She asked and Starr
chuckled.
“Tsk, I can easily pass an exam without reading.
“
“Liar, I see you studying 24/7.”
“No, I have this kinda retentive memory.
Wh@tëver is being said in class tends to stay in
my brain for a long time. You only see me with
my books coz that’s what I do to keep myself
busy. And I also read books that are above my
level.” He said and she wowed.
She wrapped her hand around his and placed
her head on his shoulder.
“So, I can’t even beat you. What’s your average?”
Snowy asked.
“99.9%. It’s obvious teachers don’t wanna
accept the fact that I’m more brilliant than them.
” He said and Snowy scoffed.
“Such pride. Wh@tëver, you still have 0.1
imperfection, I must use that to my advantage.”
She grinned and Starr chuckled.
“That’s dream impossible.” He said poking her
head and she whined.
<END OF FLASHBACK>
A smile curved her lips as she reminisces that.
She looked at Starr’s name.
He came second with 96% average.
Wow, he really did reduce his intellect for her.
“That’s not even what’s shocking, look down.”
Rayne said and Aubrey and Snowy looked
below Starr’s name.
3RD PLACE – PIERCE CLARKE – 93%
“No way!” Aubrey screamed in astonishment.
“This term’s result is mad…” Rayne mumbled.
“Make way everyone! Make way!” Pierce voice
came from behind and the student created a
path for him till he got to the noticeboard.
He simply searched for his name and he smiled
proudly on seeing it. He pointed at the name
and turned to Aubrey.
“Did I pass your test?” He asked and Aubrey
shook her head, whilst clapping her hand in
disbelief.
“Bravo!” She said and Pierce smirked, brushing
his hair proudly.
Rayne and Brett came fourth with 91% average.
Baby and Max came with fifth.
Aubrey came sixth.
And Nico came seventh.
“Babe.” Nico called and Rayne turned to him
with angry eyes.
“Seventh? Seriously!” She growled.
“Babe I can explain.” Nico said and Rayne
began taking off her shoes while he stepped
backward.
“Start explaining. Go on.” She said as she took
hold of her shoes. Nico immediately took to his
hold.
“Come back here you d_1ckhead!” Rayne yelled
chasing after him.
The students chuckled.

<MYLES’ MANSION>
Starr walked to get the door as he doorbell rang
a second ago. He didn’t go to school today
because he went to see his mom in prison.
She had been sentenced to 5 years
imprisonment and she was just getting started.
His dad has resumed working and he was the
only one at home.
He opened the door and a smiled curled on his
lips on seeing Snowy standing at the door.
Before he could say a word, Snowy rushed into
his arms and placed a kiss on his lips.
Starr chuckled when she broke it.
“What was that?” He asked, circling his hand
around her waist and Snowy smiled.
“Thank you.” She said with a wide smile and
Starr raised his brows.
“For what?” He asked and Snowy slapped his
chest.
“Of course I’ll find out that you deliberately
reduced grade so I could come first.” She said.
“Huh? Is the results out?” He asked.
“Of course. I came first, and you came second.”
She said.
“That’s a lie! You overthrew me! No way!” He
said and covering his mouth and Snowy
chuckled.
“Stop pretending, I already know it was your
handiwork.” She said and Starr shrugged.
“I didn’t do anything.” He said walking into the
kitchen and Snowy followed him behind,
smiling.
“What are you doing?”
“I was about cooking.” he said and Snowy
smiled.
“Okay… I’ll watch you cook.” She said sitting on
a stool while Starr wore an apron.
He smiled glancing at her as he put his
ingredients together with Snowy watching him,
with a sweet smile on her face.
They engaged in a random discussion and
Snowy laughed at some intervals. It got to when
Starr had to fry the chicken.
After pouring the oil in the pan, he shifted
backward and threw the chicken into the pot.
Snowy began laughing… “Is this how you fry
chicken?” She asked.
“Of course, you need to stand 3 meters away
from the pan while frying chicken for better
taste.” He said and Snowy laughed.
“That was funny. Here, give me that.” She said
getting down from the stool.
“No way, you said you can’t cook.” He said.
“Cooking and frying are two different things. I
love frying.” She smirked and collected the
chicken from him.
Then she walked closer to pan, and began
putting the chicken inside the pan. Starr gasped
as she put the chicken in the oil skillfully
without it spilling on her.
If only he knew she was dying inside. She has
never tried this and was really scared.
“Wow!!!” Starr clapped when she finished, and
Snowy flaunted her hair proudly.
“Shocked?” She smirked.
“Speechless. I’m impressed.” He said still
clapping and Snowy smiled.
“You should be.” She said and immediately the
oil popped.
“Whoo!!!” She Screamed, jumping on Starr. Her
eyes shut tightly.
Starr chuckled, “I thought you weren’t scared
then?” He said and she blinked.
“Well, then and now aren’t the same.” She said
and Starr smiled.
She placed a quick kiss on his arms, still in his
arms. Starr took his lips in, circling his arms on
her waist.
“If… If you keep doing that, I might do
something crazy with you.” He said.
“I love crazy things.” Snowy grinned and he
blinked.
“Whoa…* He mumbled and she kissed his lips
again.
“You’re really testing my patience right now.* He
said and Snowy laughed, she placed a kiss
again on his lips but he was quick to claim her
lips before she pulled away.
The two laughed shortly before continuing the
kiss. The chicken on the fire making sizzling
sounds but didn’t hear any of it.
Snowy wrapped her hand around his neck,
raking her finger into his hair as he explored her
lips in ecstasy.
Their hot breaths fanning their skin.

<MACDONALD’S MANSION>
“That’s not how you wear the cap, you’re really
silly!” Baby’s voice sounded in the large TV
screen in the living room.
She collected the graduation cap from Max and
wore it properly on his head. She smiled and he
smiled back. The two were in their graduation
gown.
“And someone will say there’s nothing going on
between this two?” Pierce said with an eye roll.
He was in the living room with the rest of the
friends – Starr, Snowy, Rayne, Nico, Max, Baby,
Brett and Aubrey.
It was actually their graduation ceremony today
and they were in Snowy’s house for the after
party.
While Clara was in the kitchen preparing for the
feast, they were busy watching the clip they
took.
“What’s that? Nothing is going on between us!”
Baby defended…
“We know!” Rayne said and Baby rolled her
eyes. Even tho Baby was hanging out frequently
with them, this two never get along.
The camera moved to Rayne and Nico kissing
hotly and they all gasped.
“Whoa!!”
“Oppressors!” Aubrey said covering her eyes
with her palms.
“We can just do ours right here, we can’t be
oppressed.” Pierce said to her with a flirty smile
and Aubrey threw the pillow at his face.
They laughed.
“Remember you two can’t date till college.”
Rayne smirked and Pierce rolled his eyes.
She was right. Mrs Clarke finally accepted to
give thier relationship a chance but that was
until they got to college so the two were laying
low.
“3… 2… 1…” The students all threw their
graduation caps high in the air and they
laughed.
“Awwn… I’m already missing highschool.”
Snowy said in Starr’s arms.
“Me too. I wish we don’t have to graduate.” Max
said.
“You’re crazy.” Nico said and they laughed.
“Kids! Come here!” Clara said from the dinning
room and they all rushed there.
The large dining table was filled with different
dishes which looked appetizing.
“Everyone sit. I’ll serve.” She said and they all
took their seats but it wasn’t quietly, they had to
fight amongst themselves just to sit down as
well.
Clara chuckled as she began serving their food.
“Thanks mom.” Snowy said.
“Thanks aunt!” The team said and Clara said.
“You shouldn’t thank me. That’s the little I can
do for you… Now everyone raise your glass, let’s
cheers to the end of one journey…” Clara said
and they all raised their glass except Baby.
She was so engrossed in her phone that she
didn’t hear what they were saying.
“Kid!” Rayne slapped her shoulder and she
flinched. She looked up to see the peering eyes
digging hole into her skin and she flashed a
smile.
“I’m so sorry. I was checking something. Guess
what it is.” She said and Pierce scoffed.
“Do we look like mind reader or something?” He
said and Baby glared at him.
“Anyway, forget. Guys, the NWS exam results
are out as well as college admission!” She
squealed and they screamed.
“Really? You mean I got an admission to go to
Harvard?” Pierce squealed.
“Harvard you say? I thought we all agreed to go
to Oxford?” Brett asked.
“Guys! I got an admission to Stanford!” Rayne
squealed showing them her phone.
“Glasgow gave me admission.” Baby grinned.
“Me too… I got an admission to NWU!” Snowy
squealed and they looked at her.
“Wait, I thought you were the one that brought
the idea that we all go to Oxford university?”
Aubrey asked and Snowy shrugged.
“Actually, I and Starr thought of going to NWU.”
She pressed her lips and Pierce shook his head
unbelievably.
“I just knew this was gonna happen.” He said.
“Right, I also got an admission to Harvard.”
Aubrey said and Snowy gasped.
“You and Pierce?”
“I and Max are going to Glasgow.” Baby said
and Max looked at her.
“Who’s Max? I’m going to Canada.” He said and
Baby scoffed.
“I cancelled the admission offer.” She said and
Max gasped.
“What!”
“I guess I and Nico are the only ones going to
Oxford.” Brett muttered.
“You’re alone in this bro. I already accepted my
admission to Stanford.” Nico said.
“What!!!” They all laughed.
“Get a partner dude.” Pierce said to him and he
scoffed.
Clara chuckled.
“Alot of goodnews! What should we say?”
“Cheers!!!!” They all clinked glasses, laughing.
Clara smiled watching the children, their
cheerful laughter rented the air.
