Chapter 73
(War Ignited)
Two Days Later
Blood Clan
Clinic★
Jade stirred in her sleep, fighting off the
banging headache that seem to ignite just when
she gained consciousness.
“Argghhh” she frowned, grabbing her head with
her right hand, unable to move it properly. She
felt something needle like, piercings into her
skin just as she moved the hand. Her eyes
flutter open, closing up again due to the
intensity of light from the electric bulb that
flashed into her eyes.
“What the hell” she grunted, opening it again.
“Shh .you don’t need to stress yourself” an
unfamiliar voice stopped her from getting up.
Her eyes wandered round, falling on a man with
white coat.
“Who the hell are you” she asked, not hearing
her own voice properly. Her throat hurts. The
man smiled, looking down at her. “You need to
stay calm while I give you something to
drink…here” he picked up a small glass of
water, bringing it down to her lips. “Haa..open
up. It will help ease the tightness of your throat.
” He assured. She took gentle sip, trying not to
choke.
“Good girl ..so..how do you feel, any pain or…..”
“Just headache….where the hell am I?” She
questioned. “You are in safe hands….but you
need to relax okay…your saviour will be here
soon” he noted. She stared weirdly at him.
“What saviour, what happened to me…what’s
going on” she asked, checking out the drips
connected to her hands.
“You don’t need to panic….” He muttered,
picking up his phone to make a call. “Yes…she
is awake” he noted, ending it afterward.
“So young lady, I’m gonna give you something
that will take away the headache….but first…I..
err..will like to know your name?” He
questioned. Jade stunned, unable to give a
reply, as she search within her head but got
none. Why the hell can’t she remember her
name; she tried thinking deeper but that only
increase the headache.
“Harrg” she groan again, grabbing her head.
“It’s ok….you don’t need to think too much, I
feel like you have a little memory loss….don’t
worry with time you will remember your last
memories.”
Jade simply gape at him, different thoughts
running through her mind. Who was she before
now? She thought, void of an answer.

Wolves’Clan
Power Room✓
“I don’t know why we ain’t making any attempt
to bring back Jade..this is not fair” Wizard
growled, pacing round the room. The whole
members were present, waiting for Kyla who
was yet to arrive.
“You have to be patient…” Bruce chipped in. He
arrived the following day after the incident
“If you know how it feels to lose someone then
you wouldn’t be saying this” Wizard snapped.
Bruce sighed, folding his arms. His mind
flashed back to Rei, he had almost lost her after
the attack.
He left her in the hospital where he took her to
for proper attention. She doesn’t know when he
left, cos he can’t bare the pain of parting with
her. He isn’t sure his lifespan will be long
considering the nature of this current mission.
“You need to calm down Wiz, let’s hear what
Kyla has to say…we will sort this out” Autumn
spoke up in a soft voice. Wizard scoffed.
“What’s there to calm down for….she isn’t the
only one in danger…my baby is also in the
hands of those killers.” He replied, a bit calmly.
The whole member sighed, each looking weary.
Kyla entered amiss the silence. She glanced
round at each one of them, walking to stand at
the center.
“Good day everyone” she muttered, earning
less, or inaudible response. She heaved in,
clamping her hands together
“I know that erm..we all here shouldn’t be here
by now. Your vacation was to last for a month,
but.. suddenly got cut short due to the
unfortunate occurrence. It’s a pity that we lost
two good members to the cold bloody hands to
the Blood Clan.
As we all know, there was a spy in our midst
which we were oblivious of, until now. Though
dead, but his mission here was accomplished.
We were not vigilant enough, I, especially. But
we can’t continue to wine in regret, but instead
make plans on how to eradicate the problem.”
She gulped in, thinking of words to say that
wouldn’t hurt her members more.
“About Jade…” She started, as everyone’s
attention on her increased to the highest level. “I
erm..have tried thinking of ways we can get her
out..but…” Wizard frown on her mention of
‘but’
“There isn’t any way we can get into the clan
without getting ourselves killed. Blood clan is
more complicated when it comes to the
structural setting ..the building…and we don’t
have any informat within to give us clue on how
to get in. I don’t want to involve Chief in this…I
just can’t help lose another member. It hurts so
much” she whispered the last part.
“So we ain’t gonna bring Jade back, is that
what you mean…boss” Wizard questioned. His
face hardened, his fisted ball squeeze harder,
against his palm.
“That’s not the case Keith…we will get Jade
back…we just shouldn’t rush things. The Blood
Clan knows that we will attack soon, wanting to
get our member from them. If they wanted a
deal, then a message should have been sent to
me a long time, negotiating on what they want.
They want us all dead .. this is a trap. If we
should attack now…then we will be led to our
graves which I don’t want”
“What about the baby?” Wizard asked, in
croaked voice.
Kyla sighed, looking directly into his eyes. “I
never asked you to make a baby, Wizard. You
know the clan rules..which you actually went
against.”
Wizard gulped in, looking downward at first,
trying to regain his momentum.
“Having a baby is a good thing…and that
shouldn’t serve as a punishment for Jade. Just
because she is having a baby shouldn’t make
us neglect her” he snapped.
“We ain’t neglecting her…didn’t you hear the
boss” Jayden chipped in
“I heard everything…but all just proved to me
that your love for Jade is merely a facade. I
thought she is your sister” he snorted, walking
out of the room.
“Boss..” Bruce called, slightly offended by
Wizards manners, wanting to go after him.
“Leave him alone” Kyla cuts in. “We will make
plans on how to bring her out…we need rigid
strategies”. She noted. “Yes boss” they
chorused.

★Two Days Later★
Blood Clan ★
Pulling up the window drapes, Jade sighed,
staring down at the large clan from above. She
still wonders while she hasn’t remembered
anything yet. Sighing briefly, she walked
towards the wall mirror in the room, staring
back at her reflection. It’s been two days now
since she got discharged from the clinic, she
wouldn’t have been given that privileged if she
hadn’t fought for it.
She still had a large bandage, covering the piece
of her head that was injure. “Hrgg” she hissed,
on touching the injury. Her hand travelled down
to her tummy, giving it soft carress. Don had
told her the previous day about her pregnant
state, and some poeple who attempted to ki*ll
her.
According to him, she is his girlfriend, though
she can’t remember anything about their
relationship, she doesn’t even feel this
connection. She disiked him at first sight but
doesn’t want to act rude, since he had
something with her before the memory loss.
She was about peeling off the cloth on her body
for a warm bath when the door open, with Don
stepping in.
He smiled, gazing hard at her, before turning to
close the door. “How are you feeling, dear?” He
asked, surging forward. Jade shrugged. “Still
the same..though, I feel no more aches in my
back, only the pain in my head” she replied
sincerely. He nods, sitting on the bed. He tapped
a space beside him; she understood the
message, taking a seat beside him.
“Still weird that you haven’t called me by my
name…is my name dear?” She asked; this
sounded funny to Don. He can’t really recollect
her name, and wouldn’t wanna sound weird. He
also isn’t sure she has memory loss, he is just
being careful. A thought flashed through his
mind. He remembered calling Kyla with Jade’s
phone, as the former had mentioned her name.
He didn’t hear it clearly, but was sure she said
‘Jane’
“Jane….your name is Jane” he replied with a
soft smile, cupping her cheek in his. She doesn’t
feel this adrenaline to his touch.
“Jane…” She whispered, staring back into his
eyes. “Sound like a nice name”
“It’s a beautiful name…just the way you are. I
love you so much Jane, and I want you to know
that your memory loss is not a barrier. What I’m
about doing is for the sake of you and our baby.
.here..” he brought our some pictures of Kyla,
spreading it on the bed. She picked up one
looking closely at it, trying hard to recollect
where she saw this face, her head hurt at the
moment.
“Ouch” she groan grabbing her head. “Are you
ok?”
“I’m…I’m fine…just that…the face looks
familiar…I don’t know, I tried thinking about it
but it made my head hurt.” He smiled, rubbing
her back gently.
“You don’t need to stress your brain. This lady
here is the one after your life. She is an enemy
of our clan, trying hard to ki*ll every soul in it,
including you and our baby.. that’s why I’m
making plans to take you out of here…for
safety reasons. Perhaps when the child is born,
then you will come back” he added, smiling.
“Is that ok by you?” She nodded. “Yea…like I’m
practically freaking out now…why would she be
after my life and my baby’s. Did I do any wrong.
.was she the cause of my broken head?” She
asked. He nodded
“Yes..just that you wouldn’t remember now,
soon you will. You need to leave here to clear
your mind ..perhaps you will regain your
memory afterward.
“Ok…” “That’s my girl..so go have your bath
and let’s make the preparation” he pecked her
temple, standing up to leave

Next Day★
3:00 AM
The sky was still practically dark, lit by the half
moon, when Wizard walked out of his room,
fully dressed in all black, wearing a long black
leathery jacket, that match, alongside the boots.
With a bag loaded with ammunition, he went
into the garage, checking out the bikes on
ground, and decided on a sport bike.
Turning on the engine, he raised it to life,
zooming out of the garage, with just one motive
in mind. ki*ll every bloody member of the Blood
Clan and get Jade back. The blaring sound of
the bike died down just after it exit the clan exit
gate, getting consumed by the darkness of the
night.

5:30 AM
Kyla, still deep in her world of sleep, jerked up at
the loud banging of her door, followed by
someone opening it. Evans who was available
in the sitting room, reached out for the door on
hearing that knock. He opened it coming in
contact with Bruce. The latter frown on seeing
him
“Where is boss?” He asked, in a more
commanding tone. “She’s still sleeping..you
wouldn’t wanna disturb her, she had a stressful
night…”
“And who are you to tell me when to see her or
not?” Bruce exclaimed. Evans was about
speaking, when Kyla surfaced
“What’s going on here?” She asked. Her face
seem really dull like she hadn’t sleep one bit.
The eye bag under her eyes was clearly visible;
the redness of her eyes was also obvious. Bruce
tear his glance from Evans to face her.
“Boss….” He greeted. “A sport bike and few
ammunition is considered missing boss, even
the men on watch could testify that someone
made use of the secret exit around 3am this
morning, but they couldn’t stop him.” He
explained. Kyla frown
“So what are you insinuating…that we got
robbed or perhaps have another spy”
He shook his head. “No boss….but…Wizard is
missing…he is no longer in the clan” he replied.
Her eyes popped out in shock. “Ready the men,
we are going after him” she ordered, about
taking her leave
“But boss…what if his location is the Blood
Clan, that’s treason for all of us” he noted
“I won’t lose another member…ready the men,
and we move!” She snapped, leaving the scene
in haste.
