Chapter 74
(Lost Mission)
The ride to the clan took Wizard about one hour
and thirty minutes. He rode roughly towards the
east gate, which is considered a Mini
entrance/exit gate of the clan. He paused to
examine the height of the gate, turning off the
ignition. With the backpack worn over his back,
he picked up his climbing equipment, which
aided him in crossing over to the other side of
the fence, landing softly on his feet.
He strides carefully, avoiding being a victim of
the clan wrath as he attacks each guard on
stand point, using his silent killing skills. Two
guards could be seen at another end, each
smoking.
“I just h@të this watchman post so much” one
gritted, the other smirked. “We have no choice
than to be on watch, the clan could be in danger
anytime soon… according to boss.”
The former scoffed. “I can’t put my life in
danger…my body also needs warmth in a cold
night like this”
The latter laughed “Then get a wife who will
keep you in her bed…” He was yet to complete
his statement when the other shush him.
“Did you hear that?” He asked, listening
attentively as they both look around. “What?”
“I heard a dying cry…” He ÇOçked his gun. The
other was about doing same when Wizard came
behind him, slashing his head off with a sword.
The other man out of sudden fright opened fire,
shooting ferociously. “Sh|t” Wizard cussed,
avoiding his target, shooting him dead through
the forehead.
The other guards and members, on hearing the
sound of the gunshots, took position, coming
out with their guns and other ammunition to
face the intruder.

Don rose up from the comfort of his bed when
he heard the warning alarm blared, loud enough
for all clan members to hear. He picked up his
shirt to wear when his door open.
“Boss…we have intruders” Hades noted,
coming in. He nodded. “Make sure the whole
entrance/exit is heavily guarded, no one come
in or leaves. I will be at the Power Room” he
replied. Hades nodded, turning to leave.
A smile escaped his face. “I’m very sure it’s the
b!tch and her men” he thought within, making
his way out of the room.

Wolves Clan
Evans walked into Kyla’s suite just when she
finished dressing up. She picked up the
necessary things she need, turning to leave only
to meet him standing at the doorpost of her
room. She sighed
“Evans…”
“Why ain’t I allowed to come along?” He asked,
cutting her short. “Because it’s for the best ”
“I thought I’m already a member of the clan…”
He asked, dejectedly. “You ain’t ordained as a
member yet…even if you are skillful..you won’t
be going for fights like this, it’s risky.” She tried
making him see sense in her opinion.
“But you are taking some trainees along..I only
want to help..Jade is also my friend, same as
Wizard.”
“You don’t know when those trainees started
their training…long before you came…they are
fit” she muttered, avoiding his eyes. She knew
Evans is fit too, but the pain of losing him is
what she wants to avoid. She folds and unfolds
her fist, hoping he doesn’t see through her lie.
Evans walked forward, closing the distance
between them. He raised her chin, cupping her
cheeks. “Just stay safe” he whispered, staring
directly into her eyes. “I will”
He looked down at her lips, placing his on hers.
She deepened the kiss, wishing it never ends,
but duty calls; she broke it, looking away.
“Thanks” she noted, walking away. “I love you
Kyla” he called out after her. She paused to look
at him, gave a curt nod before leaving.
Evans sighed. She had never returned the three
magic words, he wish she stays safe for him.

After killing dozen of men, Wizard was finally
apprehended by Hades men, dragging him to
the center of the clan, opposite the power
house. He was forced to his knees after several
beatings. His broken nose bled, likewise his
eyes becoming red. He glanced up at the house
which is a two story building.
Don who had been watching the scene from the
CCTV from within the house came out, down to
the balcony of the first floor. He watched from
above, staring down at Wizard who wouldn’t
take his eyes away from his.
“Is he just he only one” he asked Hades who
stood beside him
“Yes boss”
“A member of Wolves clan, brave enough to
enter our den, alone…isn’t that bravery” he
spoke out loud enough for Wizard to hear.
“I need Jade out here now…you have no right
to take her away…where is she?” He gritted,
trying to force his way out of the grip of the two
men holding him down. Don laughed
“You just succeeded in surrendering yourself to
us ..isn’t it. And why do you think I’m with your
sweetheart…huhnn …she is not here” he lied.
Wizard fumed the more
“You liar…just give her back…Jade…Jade, I
know you are here somewhere…you can hear
me…Jade” he called out hoarsely.
Jade who had been watching the scene from
behind drapes in her room sighed. She doesn’t
know why she felt pity for him. She doesn’t
know who Jade is, but it sounds familiar to her.
She gulped in, taking a step out of the room.
The sun is already surfacing, brightening up the
day, giving her a clear vision
Being on the same floor as Don, she walked up
to him on the balcony, looking downward.
“What’s going on?” She asked, bringing Don to
notice her presence. “Take her in” Don ordered
one of his men close by . Whereas, Wizard had
already sighted her. He exclaimed
“Jade…Jade..oh my God…Jade” he called out,
struggling with the men holding him. He
punched one in the face, kicking the other. More
men came to their rescue, tucking his hands
behind. Wizard cried out, looking up at Jade as
she was forced in.
“Jade it’s me…Wizard…Keith…it’s
Keith…Jade” he yelled out.
“Give her back…what have you done to her” he
questioned, gritting bitterly. “She is mine
now…”Don replied “Take him away” Hades
ordered, as the men pulled Wizard alongside the
dust, not minding his struggles. Just when they
walked few meters away, Wizard succeeded in
pulling out a sword from one of the men’s
sheath, slicing his throat open, injuring two
more at the swing of the sword.
Boom, the sound of a gunshot, blared in the air.
A bullet came his way, piercing directly into his
chest. He staggered back a little, falling on one
knee. Another bullet was fired, entering into his
shoulder, gushing out blood like the former; he
collapsed to the ground, breathing faintly, and
just then Kyla and her clan members drove in.
“Why did you sh00t” Don questioned Hades,
whose hand was still stretched with his finger
on the trigger. He shrugged
“You saw what happened” he replied. Don went
mute for a second, watching the main gate
open with fierce cars, zooming in.
His face brightened up in a smile
“I think we have more visitors..perhaps I will
also get to meet that bas***d of a brother I
have.” He smirked.

The atmosphere seem a bit dusty and foggy
after the gunshot, everywhere was silent aside
the whispering conversation made by Don with
Hades, and the sound of each cars driving in.
Kyla alights the vehicle, walking towards the
scene where Wizard lay almost lifeless on the
ground. Her heart shattered into pieces seeing
his bloody figure.
She looked up at Don, covering the distance as
she surge forward. Her men who had
accompanied her were behind. Only few were to
enter the clan, others stayed at different
location, to strike at any given order.
“Welcome to Blood Clan, Lady Mafia…” Don
noted, with a chuckle. “What do I owe you?”
“A soul…” She replied. Don smirked. “I can’t
remember taking any soul from you”
“What do you want Don…tell me, and give me
back my member..” she snapped, folding her
fist. She decided on having a peaceful
conversation, a negotiation and end it up with a
fight if it deems. She knows that starting up a
fight in his clan is treason, none of them would
survive it except for proper planing which had
actually been ruined by Wizard’s gesture. She
knew Don wouldn’t ki*ll Jade, but want to use
her as a bait for his devilish wants.
“Hmm…and who said that I have one of your
men with me”
“Stop playing games with me Donald…this isn’t
some Sh|tty game..you just killed one of my
men in cold blood, kidnapped another and have
killed many…what the hell do you want from
my clan” she spoke out, angrily. Don frown,
rasing his brows.
“Bring out the girl” he ordered Hades who
looked closely at him, arching his brows. He
didn’t give in to much thought, but carried out
the order. “Yes boss”
“Your man here attacked my men in my clan, he
had killed almost one-third of my guards, do
you think I would let him go with what he just
did. This is treason, he invaded my territory,
taking our lives that he couldn’t give. It’s a life
for life Kyla” he growled. She gulped in,
unfolding her fist.
“What’s your deal to release my girl…” She
asked. Jade was brought out, looking weirdly at
the whole scene.
“Jade?” Kyla called, Jade stared weirdly at her,
the similarity is clear. She is the lady from the
picture, she thought. But why does she feel this
strange connection. She looked at Don who
mouthed something to her.
“Tell her your real name?” He ordered. She
folded and unfolded her fist, trying not to be
nervous. She should be angry at the woman
who is after her life, but here she is, staring with
fear.
“My name is Jane….not Jade..” she whispered
the last word, unsure of her own words.
Kyla felt stunned. “Jade what has he down to
you…”
“I’m not Jade, i’m Jane you murderer..” she
snapped, breathing hard, while avoiding Kyla
eyes. Kyla scoffed, looking behind her. Bruce
and Autumn who stood behind could feel her
pain, they were also stunned.
Don drew closer, placing his hand on her
shoulder.”You heard her, she doesn’t know you
as one of hers, but a killer who tried to ki*ll her”
“Shut the Füçk up Don” she yelled enraged as
sounds of corking guns followed, before silence
Kyla glanced back at Jade with pain and guilt in
her eyes, the latter went back in.
“You tricked her into joining your clan
bas***d…” She snarled. “I wish I did…but I
didn’t, she came to me herself, you killed her
parents Kyla, you are a murderer like she called
you. She has her life to live now…so go…and
take your men with you before I change my
mind.
Kyla felt the world against her, her eyes stunned
with tears that would not be shed. Her morale
died down to the lowest level, she gulped in,
sparing Don one last glance. She knows what
he meant by ‘before he changes his mind’. With
the catastrophe that Wizard had caused,
fighting again will favor no party. She wouldn’t
want to lose the whole clan in her time.
“You can’t have her forever…one day, she will
come back to her root, her home…where she
belong” she gritted, turning to leave.
“Boss” Bruce called out. She paused, not
sparing him a glance.
“Pick up Wizard’s body..send message to the
others…we are leaving” she replied
“But boss…”
“This is a lost mission…” She cut in, walking
back to the car.

Wizard was taken along with them in the van as
they all made their way out. He coughed out a
little, though his breathing was slow.
“He’s still alive…” Autumn announced,
checking his pulse. Bruce who sat close by
scoffed, looking pissed right from when they
left the clan.
“Wiz…” Autumn called out, his eyes opened
slightly as tears evade it. “My neck..” he
muttered, trying to take out the chain he had on.
The bulletproof jacket he had wore had help
prevented the bullet from entering his chest,
only the bullet wound from his shoulder, of
which he had lost lot of blood.
She pulled out the chain from his neck, holding
him closer. “Save your strength” she muttered.
Bruce watched them.
“Give it to my child…” He noted, softly. Autumn
watched him with sadness, not knowing what to
reply. “When she comes….back..to the clan…..
tell..her..that..I love her” he added
“Wiz…stop saying this….Füçk, increase the
speed, we need to take him to the clinic” she
yelled out at Jayden who was driving the van.
“You ain’t gonna die Wiz ..just save your
strength…please” she busted into tears. He
gulped in, watching her cry for a moment before
breathing his last breath.
