A4’S SUITE***
Axel entered the suite to find his friends present, Ace was absent. Aaron and Aiden were the one who called to meet up.
“Is that true?” Aiden was the one who spoke out.
“I love her,” Axel muttered almost immediately.
Aaron sighed. The fact that he admitted it so easily shows how much he’s in love with her… Melanie.
“And you think that’s the right thing?” Aiden asked, almost raising his voice.
“Why? Because she’s Ace’s ex, he can’t fall in love with her?” Aaron butted in.
“I know you’re gonna take his side because he’s your best friend, but this is very wrong! It wasn’t no one else but Melanie?” Aiden said.
Ace came out of his room at that time. His eyes darkened when he saw Axel present in the house.
“What’s he doing here?” He asked.
“What do mean? This is his house too,” Aaron said.
Ace scoffed.
“Really? Then, I’m moving out, I can’t stand his face anymore. He disgusts me,” Ace left the house.
“I’m so disappointed in you, Axel. You are better than this, I never knew you could act this way,” Aiden stood up.
“You’re leaving too?” Aaron asked, staring at Aiden.
“I can’t stay here with him, what he did was uncalled for. He broke the bro codes, gosh,” Aiden shook his head and left the place too.
“Are you gonna leave too?” Axel asked in a broken voice.
“That’s if I’m wishing for death, we’re stuck together forever, buddy” Aaron said.
“I can’t give up on her, Aaron. I love her, so d@mn much,” Axel whispered, a single tear escaping his cheek.
Aaron went to him and held his shoulder.
“It’s okay, they’ll come around, trust me. Just give them a little time,” he said.
Axel sniffed. One thing he had never imagined was their friendship falling apart right in front of him.

“You don’t look so well, are you alright?” Lauren asked Melanie whose eyes were shut tightly.
“Annie, is anything wrong?” Paisley asked.
Melanie’s eyes flew open, she sprang up immediately.
“I’ll be back,” she said and left.
“Lanie!”
“Annie!” Paisley and Lauren called at once.
They glanced at each other and scoffed before looking away.

Axel received a message from Melanie telling him to meet up in the school parking lot.
He arrived and met her already waiting. He smiled shortly before walking to her.
At least, he still has a reason to smile.
“Bae,” he called slowly.
Melanie turned to him, trying her possible best to avoid his eyes.
“I’ve thought much about this, and… Staying away will be the best thing”
“Let’s stay away from each other, Axel. I don’t want to cause a fight between you and your friends, I don’t want you two becoming enemies all because of me. Let’s do this please” Melanie said.
Axel was too stunned to react. She was asking to stay away from her??
His eyes cleared when he saw her walking away. He quickly rushed to her and hugged her from the back, his hands resting on her B@@bs, but his mind wasn’t there at all.
“I can’t do that, Mel. I’m gonna die if I do so. I’ll settle this, I’m talk to him, just don’t stay away please,” Axel said brokenly. His voice was torn, his heart was tearing apart slowly.
“Axel… Please,” Melanie’s lips trembled as tears trickled down her cheeks.
Axel sniffed and tears rolled down his cheeks, dampening her shoulder. She was all he needed at the moment. His parents left him, his friends left him, she was the only cause of his happiness and she asking to stay away…
“Please,” he whispered in tears.
Melanie slowly moved away from him and walked away, not casting a glance at him nor saying a word.
Staring at her back view, Axel’s heart shattered and he felt happiness leaving his life slowly.
“Melanie,” he whispered in tears.
