A4’S SUITE***
Ace dropped the third bottle on the table loudly causing Aaron and Aiden to exchange glances.
“What’s up with you? Have you talked to her?” Aaron asked.
“We broke up,” Ace muttered, trying to open another bottle.
Aiden snatched it away from him and kept it out of his reach.
“Give that to me,” Ace said.
“If you know you’re going to act this way, why then did you cheat on her in the first place?” Aiden asked in a scolding manner.
“Not with anyone but her best friend, that’s ridiculous man”
“I know, right? I was a fool” Ace mumbled.
“I have no excuse right now, her tears are hurting me badly. The way she stares at me, it’s full of hatred, it can never be the same again” he shook his head.
“Do you love that girl?” Aaron suddenly asked.
Ace turned to him.
“Do I love her?” A chuckle left his lips.
“Honestly, I don’t know” he looked away.
Aiden scoffed.
“Guess your playboy life ain’t gonna leave you anytime soon”
“Look who’s talking, we’re all the same!” Aaron shot at him.
“Yea but not to the extent of dating two best friends, who the hell does that!”
“You dated the both of them even when you have no ounce of feelings for them, I’m pretty sure you slept with them too. That’s so disappointing, Ace” Aiden stood up and went to his room.
“You should bring yourself together, Ace. Drinking won’t solve anything” Aaron said.
Ace rubbed his face with his palms before standing up, he was on his way to his room when they heard a knock on the door.
Paisley entered and Aaron rolled his eyes before leaving.
“Are you okay, Ace?” Paisley asked, walking to him.
“What are you doing here?” Ace questioned.
“I figured out that you won’t be fine, so I decided to check up on you. Besides, you weren’t picking my calls” Paisley said.
Ace scoffed.
“You know what, just stay away from me” he muttered and turned to leave.
“I can’t, Ace,” Paisley said.
Ace stopped walking and turned to face her.
“You can’t?” He raised a brow.
“Do you really think it’s easy to forget you? The kisses, the s*x and everything?”
Ace roughed his hair.
“Just leave Paisley, let’s talk later” he said.
“I’ll leave and come back, I think you’ll be fine then” Paisley said. She stares at him for a while before leaving the house.
“This is messed up,” Ace mumbled.

MELANIE’S APARTMENT***
“Assassin?” Axel asked, staring at her.
“You… How come?” Melanie continues staring at him with wide eyes.
Axel folds his arms across his chest.
“Are you done?” He asked.
“Huh?”
He rolled his eyes and walked past her. She quickly rushed to him.
“Wait, wait, wait!” She half yelled.
“You’re my roommate? Why didn’t you tell me?” She asked, facing him directly.
“Why should I?” Axel said.
“I mean, this is totally unbelievable. The Assassin behind the mask was you?”
“Why the heck are you calling me an assassin?!” Axel snapped.
“That’s because you perfectly act like one. I mean, who goes around putting on black outfit with a mask on his face? No one else but an assassin” Melanie said.
Axel stared at her as though she had suddenly gone crazy.
“If you don’t know anything, just keep your mouth shut” he warned and walked to the kitchen.
Melanie placed her hands on her hip, following him behind.
“Actually, I wanna ask you a question,” she muttered.
Axel opened the fridge without uttering out a word.
“Ace was here last night, I definitely didn’t invite him here. Is he your friend?” She asked slowly.
Axel brought out a bottle of water and faced her.
“What do you think?”
Melanie chuckled, biting her lower lips.
“They probably didn’t know I was living here, else they wouldn’t have come in the first place. I’d have continued being fooled” she blinked her eyes rapidly.
“I really can’t believe this,” she muttered.
She turned and left the kitchen with tears trickling down her cheeks.
“She’s so naive” Axel mumbled to himself.
He left the kitchen with the bottle of water in his hand.
