The kiss kept going for a while and Whitney was the first to pull away starring at him with questioning eyes.
“I…I….did I do it well?” Logan asked which got her brow raising.
“Did what well?”
“You see, what I said earlier is a part of Ben lines for the upcoming movie and he’s been practicing it with me. I just wanted to know your thoughts on it. Did I do it right?” Logan said giving her the excuse he quickly thought of and hoping she would believe.
“Well you…….you did it right” she replied obviously buying the lie.
“I will get going now, you should also do the same” Whitney said as she quickly went into the hospital.
“What did I just do?” Logan muttered to himself before heading back to his car.
As soon as he got in, he made a call to Ben.
“When your done. Meet me at home, we’ve got to talk”

~ LATER THAT DAY ~
“Sorry that am here a bit late, I was attending a press conference for the upcoming movie ” Ben said as soon as he walk into Logan’s home.
“Doesn’t matter. Just take a seat” Logan replied as he threw him a can of their favourite beer.
“What’s wrong?” Ben asked as he open the can of beer to take a sip.
“Shower me with lots of attention, stay by my side always, fill this dark void in my heart with your shining radiance. To sum it all, think only of me and no one else!” Logan said softly while Ben kept starring at him like he’s some psycho.
“What the hell does that mean?” Ben blurted out.
“I said those words” Logan replied as he sat beside his best friend.
“You did? When? To who? How did it happen?” Ben threw the questions at him.
“I said it to Whitney. I can’t believe I said it to her and….the shocking part of it is that I meant it” Logan replied.
“What do you think? Why do you think I said it to….”
“You are in love dude!” Ben said out in excitement.
“Is that the best you can think of?” Logan asked.
“Judging by the things you said it’s obvious that you feel some thing for Whitney. I never thought that the day you will fall for some one again will ever come, am so glad Logan” Ben said in excitement while Logan kept silent, thinking about what Ben said.
What he feels towards Whitney can’t cbe love.
His heart belongs to one person and it will keep staying that way.
“So, do you intend to tell her about your feeling?” Ben ask.
“Do me a favour. Finish drinking that and get out of my house, I have some pending business to finish” Logan said to him which got Ben grumbling.
“You can’t keep me hanging like this, I need to know what your feelings is!” Ben yelled after him but the banging of his study door was the answer Ben got.
Hours later, Logan finished the design he was working on and putting down his pen. He stretched his body intending to go to bed when his gaze went to Crystal photo frame which was on his desk.
Picking it, he stared at the picture thinking about the time he spent with Crystal.
“Do you also think I have feelings for Whitney?” He asked talking to the photo frame he held with him.
“It’s been years since you left and I can still remember the promise I made to you that day and I will certainly keep it”
“In this life time, my heart will only belong to you and no one else. It’s a vow I made and I intend to keep fulfilling it ” he added lightly as he put down the photo frame.
Getting out of his seat, he head for the door.
He was about to turn off the light when the photo frame fell on the floor, shattering.
Quickly he went back to pick it up wondering what could have made it fall since he is sure that he kept it back properly.
There’s some sort of superstition that when a photo frame breaks it means some thing and since Crystal is dead what other thing can it mean?
What is she trying to tell him? Logan thought as he kept starring at the picture.

~ NEXT DAY~ BRIGHAM HOSPITAL
It’s the first day of their shoot and Ben had arrive at the hospital mainly to talk to the girl who gave him her handkerchief the other day.
It had been stupid of him not to ask for her name but he intend to do that now, he thought as he went to the receptionist to ask about her.
“I think I have an idea of the person you are asking for but she must currently be busy” The receptionist replied.
“Busy with what?” Ben asked.
“I can’t tell you that. It’s confidential” the receptionist replied.
“Common. I don’t mean harm, I just want to know where she is and I want to…common gorgeous, tell me and I promise that I will remember you once I get famous” he said using his playboy skills to get info from her.
“I still can’t tell you” The girl replied blushing deeply.
He took hold of her hand and caress it before giving it a kiss which got the poor girl heart thumping and unknown to them, Elizabeth stood a distance away watching him.
“Tell me or do I have to give you a kiss to get your response?” He asked.
“You really know how to get a reply from a girl” the girl said blushing fiercely.
Not being able to bear the sight in front of her, Elizabeth approach the desk which ended the Convo between the two.
“Oh Elizabeth! You see this….”
“I only came to give this to you . You both can carry on with wh@tëver you are doing” Elizabeth said as she cut off the receptionist and ignored Ben.
As soon as Elizabeth turn to leave, Ben quickly went after her.
“Good to see you again” he said as he stood in her path.
“I can’t say I feel the same” Elizabeth replied.
“Why? ”
“Why are you here?” Elizabeth asked in return.
“To see you and also am the ac….”
“Are you perhaps interested in me?” Elizabeth asked suddenly.
“Ugh?”
“If you are, it’s best you know that am not interested much less in guys who are total playboy” she said wanting to walk past him but Ben quickly got into her way.
“Playboy? Am not a playboy” He defended hotly.
“Really? Tell me, Are you dating the receptionist?” Elizabeth asked.
“Am not ”
“You aren’t and yet you were all lovey dovey with her. I call that being a playboy and playboys are the worst” she said.
“You’ve got it wrong. I was only being that way with her because she’s….”
“What are you still doing here, have been….what a surprise Ben!” Whitney exclaimed on seeing the guy Elizabeth was talking to.
“Do you know him?” Elizabeth asked.
“Hmm. He is Logan friend” Whitney replied.
“So you both are friends right?” Ben asked which got Whitney nodding in reply.
“How do you both know each other?” Whitney asked starring at the both of them.
They weren’t able to give a reply because two female nurses excitedly ran towards them.
“They are here already. We’ve got to go” the nurses said pulling Whitney and Elizabeth.
A nurse was also going off to join them when Ben stop her.
“Can you tell me who they are excited to meet?” Ben asked.
“Well students from the neighbouring school are here for their training programme ” The nurse replied as she let out a giggle.
“And what’s so important about that?”
“It is important for us because all of the students are all males and they are handsome and hot too. At the end of the programme, we often get to go out on dates with them. Oh! Have got to go” The nurse said before hurrying off.
“Tch! They are all so happy and excited due to some hot male student” Ben muttered under his breath.
Thinking of an idea, Ben pulled out his phone and called Logan.
“This call had better be important” Logan said down the line.
“I only called to let you know that right now Whitney is hooking up with some hot male student who is present in the hospital” Ben replied.
“Hook up? How is that even possible?” Logan asked.
“It is possible. After all she’s not dating anyone, so if you know she means a lot to you then get your @$$ to the hospital or lose her to a hot male student”
