” Are you seriously waiting for me to say it first huh, just confess already.”

” What do you mean?” Liam feign ignorance.
” Oh really, listen to me. I don’t wish to make a fool out of my self, so just tell if you love me or not.” Matilda said and Liam glared at her.
He moved closer to her and bent her level, he look into her eyes and Matilda could swear her heart is about to pump out of her chest.
“So you want me to say that I….” Liam said and paused.
“That…that.. what are you… going to say.” Matilda stammered looking nervous and Liam smiled.
“If you want to hear it, then you should come to Star bucks restaurant this evening. I will tell you.” Liam said before walking off smiling.
Matilda released the breath she had been holding, she didn’t even know when she started smiling.
“What’s wrong with me, how and when did I fall for him.” Matilda said before she smiled again.
“Hey hey, what’s going on dear Matilda.” Emma came out of nowhere and Matilda flinched a bit.
“Emma, you scared me.” Matilda said holding her chest.
“Sorry I did, you don’t have to keep hiding okay? He will say it.” Emma said and Matilda glared at her.
“Who will say what.” Matilda said putting her hand in her pocket.
“Liam of course, he will say those three magic words. Don’t bother.” Emma said ruffling Matilda’s hair.
“Stop it, I.. I seriously don’t know how okay? You can’t blame me for falling.” Matilda said.
“I know, the heart can’t be controlled. But am happy for you though, can’t wait for you guys lovey dovey.” Emma said and she blushed.
“Common let’s go back to the library.” Matilda said before they went back.
Library
Steve and Lily were busy discussing but not without Lily blushing here and there.
“Lily, you are pretty.” Steve said and Lily blushed again.
” Thank you, you are handsome too.” Lily said with her head looking down.
” Hey, are you being shy now. I want to see your beautiful face, Common.” Steve said and Lily raised her head.
” Yes, perfect.” Steve said and they both smiled.
They were interrupted by Scarlett’s presence. Scarlett immediately rushed to Lily.
” Oh my God Lily, I heard what happened in school. Am really sorry I wasn’t there for you, I had travelled. Am sorry.” Scarlett said.
” It’s okay Scarlett, am fine now with my friends and brothers help.” Lily said.
” Brothers? Which brother.” Scarlett said with confusion written all over her face.
” Liam and Henry are my brothers Scarlett.” Lily said and Scarlett eyes widened.
” What!” Scarlett yelled that all attention was on them.
” Hey, keep your voice down.” Steve said.
” They’re your brothers, how and when.” Scarlett said and she explained.
” Wow, am sorry for all that though.” Scarlett said and Lily nodded.
Emma and Matilda arrived at that instance not long after, Liam walked in too.
” Guys, the police gave me a call now.” Liam said before sitting down.
” Have they found who was behind it?” Matilda asked immediately.
” You all wouldn’t believe.” Liam said and they urged him to go on.
“Oliver and Amelia.” Liam said and their eyes widened.
“What!” They exclaimed at once.
“Oliver and Amelia? But why would they do such a thing.” Matilda asked.
” It obvious they did for us.” Liam said.
“Us? But why?” Matilda said.
” Oliver wanted you and Amelia wouldn’t stop obsessing over me.” Liam said.
” They’re really heartless, how could they do that just to have you guys.” Emma said.
“So what are the police next action.” Steve said.
“They’re on the lookout for them, I think that is the reason why they’re not in school.” Liam said.
They chatted and they read for some times for it was closing hour.
“Don’t forget meeting me… to hear it.” Liam whispered to Matilda.
Lily hugged Matilda before she went home with Liam and Henry.
Davies Mansion
Lily, Henry and Liam were playing together in the living room like kids. Using pillows to hit themselves and running after each other.
Mr and Mrs Davies entered the living room and smiled seeing their children living happily.
“See, how they’re happy together.” Mrs Davies said.
“Yes, this house feels lively now that Lily is here.” Mr Davies said.
Mrs Davies walked towards them and they stopped.
“Mom, they’re cheating.” Lily said pouting.
” It’s feels good hearing you call me Mom.” Mrs Davies said and she smiled.
” And you two should stop disturbing your sister.” Mr Davies said.
” But Dad, she is cheating too.” Henry said.
” You are the oldest Henry, stop playing around.” Mrs Davies said.
” No Mom, he will have to play with me around.” Lily said and went to stand between Liam and Henry.
” May no evil eye behalf you three, come give us a hug.” Mrs Davies said and the three children hugged them.
Night time
Matilda just finished having a bath, she is trying to find a cloth to wear to go meet Liam but it’s hard since she didn’t have a female dress.
She then picked a baggy top and transformed it into crop top, she wore a joggers and a pair of sneakers to match.
Since she is really not a big fan of makeup, she only add lip balm on her lips. She set her short hair well and then looked at the mirror.
She looked beautiful despite the simple look, she added a small cross bag and went out of the room.
” Mom, I will be back.” Matilda said seeing her mom and brother at the dinning room.
” Where are you off to dear.” Mrs Miller asked.
” Ummm, I need to go see Emma down there.” Matilda said.
” You wore a crop top and you put lip balm, I have never seen you this way, what going on.” Mrs Miller asked still surprised at her daughter’s dressing.
” It’s not a crop top, it’s a baggy top, I just did some transformation and as for the balm. Am feeling some cracks on my lip, so I added it.” Matilda said.
” Okay, be careful and come back early.” Mrs Miller said.
” I will, go eat.” Matilda said before hugging her.
” Bye brother.” Matilda said and he waved.
” Bye mom.”
Davies Mansion
Liam was in his room trying to find the perfect wear when Lily knocked.
“” Come in.” Liam said and Lily walked in.
” Hi, hope am not disturbing you.” Lily said.
” No, not at all.” Liam said.
” You seems busy, are you going somewhere?” Lily asked.
” Umm, actually am trying to find the perfect wear. Umm, no use hiding it, am going to tell Matilda I love her.” Liam said.
“What! Matilda? You love her.” Lily said with her eyes widened.
“Yes I do I have invited her over to a restaurant and I told one of the waiter to help me arrange a table for us, but this is the problem.” Liam said referring to the cloth.
” Umm, let’s me help you with that, you are make the right choice. Matilda is a very good girl, I already love her for you.” Lily said as she helped Liam looked for the perfect cloth.
“So she helped you a lot during your stay with them.” Liam said.
” A lot, they were really caring towards me and I really miss them, yes wear this.” Lily said handling over the outfit.
” Wow, I really didn’t saw this. Thanks though.” Liam said before going to the washroom to change.
Some while later
Liam got there before Matilda and when she saw Matilda coming towards him, he immediately ran to her.
” Hi.” Liam said admiring her looks
” Hello.” Matilda said smiling.
” You look different, pretty.” Liam said.
” Thanks, you don’t look bad too. And sorry I don’t have a female dress so I just have to fix this baggy top to a crop top.” Matilda said.
“You look beautiful still, sorry I will have to cover your eyes common.” Liam said before he cover her eyes.
They got to their table and he removed his hand.
” Wow, this is beautiful.” Matilda said.
” Sit.” Liam said drawing the chair out for her to sit.
” So without wasting more time, I will like to tell you what you want to hear.” Liam said and she smiled.
” Am all ears.” Matilda said smiling.
” Matilda Miller, you know it’s still surprising how I got this feeling, but I just have to let you know that you have been on my mind lately and I wish to tell you that I…”
” You..” Matilda said.
” I love you Matilda.” Liam said and Matilda kept smiling.
” I.. I love you too.” Matilda said and Liam smiled.
” So we are a couple now, everyone the latest couple in town Matilda and Liam.” Liam shouted.
“Hey.” Matilda blushed.

“Thank you.” Matildla said.
Liam dragged her up and hugged her, Matilda just kept smiling.
