Lauren just scanned his face with an innocent,
shy look on her face.

Lauren said and closed her eyes as he saw
Ethan moving his head closer to her mouth.

Ethan instead moved closer to her ear and
whispered.

Lauren breathes a sigh of relief and adjust her

about to walk out. She felt like running towards

As soon as he left, she took a deep sigh again.

As soon as Ethan walked in. Jessica rushed to
hug him.
“Welcome back”
She said and smiled.

He replied. Stephan just keeps his eyes on his
computer system.

Jessica asked.

Ethan smile.
Stephan just scoffs.

off because he was lucky”

Multiple knocks were heard on the door.
Stephan, Ethan, and Jessica looked at one

Three ladies walked in including Beth.

“On behalf of the recovery department, we
welcome you back to Linde Plc.
Beth said with a smiles and the two other ladies
clapped.
Jessica also joined in clapping. Stephan was
jealous of the love Ethan us receiving from the
recovery department.

“Am sorry, but your time is up and you are not
as good as Ethan here”

Lauren was still thinking about what Ethan
played some minutes ago in her office.

She rested her head on her palm as she thought
over the issue.

A text popped into Lauren’s phone. She checked
it.
It’s a text from Ethan.
*Get ready by 8 pm, we are going on our first

She read it and was surprised.
“When did we agree to start dating?
She thought.

She reads it and sighs.
Ellie was just watching her.
“Hmm, I think Miss Lauren is already having a
secret admirer…

Lauren quickly turns off her phone.

they ate lunch. Stephan and Jessica just
watched them from a distance.

Ellie burst into laughter and playfully hit Ethan’s

talked and ate like they had known each other
since forever.

Alex burst into laughter.

the curtains. He saw a car outside the
compound and a man came out from it.
“Why does he have a resemblance with him so
much?
Alex wondered as he stared at Ethan’s face.
