I just stand like a statue without moving as he hugs me calling me leah. Am soo confuse right now after some minutes later he release me from the hug looking at me with different emotions in his eyes.
Dad, derek called making him to move his eyes from me.
You must be Derek’s dad well it nice meeting,i said with a smile on my face.
Am calvin,thank you for taking care of derek,he said.
Am katryn,it nothing,i replied immediately.
Mum i want to go to the park with you and dad, derek said.
Let not disturb your mom, calvin replied immediately.

I can’t believe she agreed to Derek’s request, this is the first time i see Derek’s smile and being comfortable with a woman who he just meet.we walked down to the park holding hands.
Dad,i will leave you guys alone, derek said and left leaving me with katryn.
Am soo sorry about derek calling you mum but you do look like his mom leah,i said to katryn.
Well,it fine if he calls me mom i have no problem with it as long as he is happy,she said with a smile.

It nothing because i understand how he feels but mr calvin i think you should get him a mom soon,she said.

It fine and for the main time,you can always bring derek to my house i will take care of him,she said.

After dad drop mom at her apartment,he drove off heading straight to our home.not long,we arrived at the penthouse then we entered the house.
Dad what do you think about mom?,i asked immediately we step into the house.
She is nice,he said.
Just nice,i said immediately.
Well,she is beautiful and a softhearted person,he said smiling.
Dad did you just smile?,i asked surprisedly.
Yeah,is it wrong to smile,he said.
No but this is the first time i saw you smile without any reason,i said.

Well,it is because i think you are falling over heels for mom, just make sure you make her yours before someone else does,i said leaving my dad in a confuse state.

I just can’t believe a lady just embarrass me in public when am trying to be a gentleman by paying for what she bought because she is soo beautiful but she ignore me and even insult me.i was surprised at the way she talk to me without fear.

MAYA pov
I just close from work when i decided to go to the mall to get somethings,i was about to pay for what i bought when a guy says he will pay for me but i ignore him and tell him that his not my type.he asked me if i know who he was but i told him i don’t Fuçking care who he is and that he should go to hell.i left the mall without taking a glance at my back.i know the guy must be surprised but am soo angry about what happened at the office so i let my anger took over me shouting at the poor innocent guy.
