“Are you insane?” Old Mavis turned, casting a cold glance at Romeo standing behind him. “How could you have done such a thing?”
“He is family, father. He had suffered enough,” Romeo answered, his voice firm.
“Do you know the implication of what you just did? First you came back without notice, and then you released that boy. Diego is going to throw a tantrum, and you know very well what he is capable of,” Old Mavis said, disliking Romeo’s action.
“I can handle him…”
“And what made you think he’ll listen to you? He h@tës you. You should have made amends with your son first. I’m still trying to control a devil, and yet you release another one,” Old Mavis panicked.
“Father,” Romeo called lightly, “Don’t you miss the way our family was? The peace and love we had before mom passed away…”
“Then you and your dumb brother destroy it because of power.”
“I know, pa, that’s why we are going to fix this,” Romeo said with determination.
“Griffin had hurt Diego too far. Have you forgotten the hatred those two had for each other? If he accepts him back, then I’ll do the same,” Old Mavis stated. As he turned to leave, his eyes met with Griffin.
“Grandpa…” Griffin made to speak.
“Don’t call me that,” Old Mavis cut him off and headed towards his room with the help of his personal maid.
Griffin took a deep breath and gave Romeo a look.
“Thanks for getting me out once again,” he said.
“Hmm, make that worth it. Or I’ll send you back,” Romeo said without a smile. As he turned to leave, Griffin clenched his jaw.
“Fuçk,” he mumbled.

“Where am I?” Jameson took a deep breath and tried to move but felt a hand holding him. He looked down at her, recognizing her.
“Jackie?” He thought… The memories of what had happened before he passed out flooded in, and he sighed. How long have he been unconscious?
He tried to force himself up, which only woke Jackie.
She sniffed, raising her head. Her eyes met with Jameson. Not believing what she is seeing, she rubbed her eyes to looked at him again.
“Mr.. Mr James?” Her eyes immediately teared up.
“Where am…” Before he could finish, Jackie immediately hugged him so tight he couldn’t breathe.
“You’re awake! God, you’re awake!! Why did it take you so long, huh? Do you know how worried I was?!”
Jameson couldn’t find a word… just what the hell happened after he had passed out? He finally managed to speak.
“How long was I unconscious?” He asked lightly.
“A week,” she sobbed harder, her tears wetting his sleeve. Jameson was shocked, a whole week?! She finally broke the hug after a long while and sniffed.
“How are you feeling? Sorry I had to hug you like that,” she said in between her sobs.
Jameson frowned, he surprisingly feels livelier than before. “Hey,” he held Jackie’s face, wiping her tears with his thumb.
“I’m fine now. Tell me everything that happened while I was unconscious,” Jameson said.

“Are you the Billionaire Devil?” Einstein’s six-year-old son, Ben asked Diego, who turned his head to his direction.
“How did you…”
“My father told me one of his friends is a Devil and the other is an Angel. You’re definitely the devil one.”
Diego smirked and ruffled the boy’s hair gently. “Thanks for the compliment, little one.”
“You’re welcome, can I sit beside you, devil?” He asked cutely.
“No, I’m busy,” Diego replied, with no smile.
“That’s what a devil will say.”
“You shouldn’t keep calling me that. You’re young,” Diego raised a brow.
“I thought you said it’s a compliment.”
“You keep saying it.”
“Does the devil care for a little one like me?” Ben blinked several times.
“You’re so much like your father.”
“How is my father?”
“Annoying… now go on, I have work to do,” Diego returned his gaze to his system.
“Do you have a son? Or a daughter?” Ben asked, and Diego closed his eyes for a moment.
“Why?” He raised his brow.
“If you have a son, I’ll make him my friend. If you have a daughter, I’ll make her my wife,” Ben replied, and Diego’s jaw dropped. Ben is really Einstein’s son.
“Ben?” A beautiful woman walked into the place. Einstein’s wife, Melody. She was tall, elegant, and smart. A grin flashed on her face seeing her son with Diego.
“Oh, I hope my son isn’t disturbing you,” Melody inquired.
“Nah, I’m just having a little talk with the devil,” Ben replied instead, and Diego let out a secret smile. ‘Stubborn,’ he thought.
“He is not, I actually like his company,” Diego replied.
Melody bowed with a smile and left.
“Women worry too much,” Ben spoke, taking a sip from the juice in his hand.
“You’re right, my wife worries about me a lot.”
“You mean that angel I met last month. The average height beautiful woman that father calls a damsel?” Ben’s face lit up.
“I’m really going to kill your father,” Diego spoke before realizing.
“Haha, you’re a jealous type, I like you even more,” Ben tilted his head.
“Come here,” Diego gestured, and he did. He lifted him up and placed Ben on his laps. “I never knew kids can be so interesting.”
“Miss damsel almost cried when she said goodbye to me. She really loves kids and I miss her,” Ben nodded. “I would have made her my wife if I’m not little.”
“Hey,” Diego instinctively shot a glare at him. Ben’s face went pale as he blinked several times.
“You almost kill me with your glare. I was only joking,” he pouted, and Diego’s face immediately loosened. He suddenly smiled, finding the boy really amusing.
Diego’s mind drifted to the fact that Candy has a slim chance of getting pregnant. He remembered when he told her he doesn’t care. Thinking of this, he scolded himself inwardly.
“Did I say something wrong?” Ben’s voice snapped him back.
“No, you didn’t,” he replied.
Diego’s phone rang, flashing the name of his grandfather.
“Are you busy destroying the town you’ve forgotten your old man’s birthday is coming?” Came the old man’s voice.
“I didn’t forget old man, I’ll be back soon,” he replied. After a short conversation, he ended the call.
“I’m inviting you over to my old man’s party, you coming?” He said to Ben, knowing Candy would be happy if he brings Ben over.
“Sure!” Ben squealed.
“Diego!!!” Einstein suddenly rushed in. Diego and Ben faced him with questioning looks.
“Jameson is awake!”
Diego’s eyes widened…

(GONZALEZ’S COOPERATION)
“Yazmine, I need to talk to you,” Aiden said, finally having the chance to see her.
“I’m busy,” she said and made to leave, but the man held her hand and pulled her with him.
“Aiden,” she called, looking around her, but the man didn’t listen until he reached the elevator, taking her in.
As the door closed, he pinned Yazmine to the wall with a hard look.
“What do you think you’re doing?” he asked, his voice showing he was angry.
“What are you talking about?” she asked.
“You know so well, Yaz. Are you avoiding me?”
“Aiden, you should stop.”
“Stop what? Stop bothering you after you said you wanted me and kissed me? Are you going to keep treating me this way all because I’m younger? Yazmine, I want you, and I would love to make you my woman, but I h@të it when you play with my feelings. If you don’t want me, then say it.” His chest heaved, showing he had reached his limit.
“I…” Yazmine couldn’t find her words; this would be the first time he’d see him angry.
The elevator opened when they reached the floor. Seeing this, Aiden held her again and took her into an empty office. Shutting the door, he faced her.
“So, my answer?” he asked, and she was quiet again.
“What are you afraid of, Yaz?”
“I’ve been hurt so many times,” Yazmine said, locking her gaze with him. “I always date the wrong guy. I don’t really know, Aiden, I’m always unlucky with love.”
“I can’t promise to give you the best, Yazmine, but I promise to give you my best,” he said, crossing the distance between them. Aiden held her face gently.
“Don’t respond if you don’t want me,” he gently said and placed his lips on hers.
Younger? Does age even matter? Everything she felt about the man was beautiful, so why should she stop?
Before Aiden could pull away, Yazmine held his shirt and kissed him back. It was gentle but demanding.
“I accept to be your woman, Aiden,” she whispered, after breaking the kiss for a moment. Aiden slammed his lips back, holding her waist close. d@mn! He is a good kisser, driving her nuts as his tongue savored her.
Soon their kiss got crazily hot, Yazmine Mõ@ned in pleasure, his touch igniting her.
As they pulled away to catch their breath, Aiden chuckled, staring deep into her eyes.
“Mine,” he mumbled in a hoarse voice, reconnecting the kiss again.

Candy’s scream rented the room as Diego announced Jameson’s return. Diego informed he’ll be back the following day due to Old Mavis’s birthday. However, Jameson will return after he recovers so well.
“I’ll see you soon, love. I’ve missed you, it’s been four days,” Candy pouted.
“I missed you more, wife. I couldn’t reach Yazmine, is she okay?” Diego asked.
“She is not back yet, I wonder what she’s doing. Don’t worry, I’ll let her know the good news,” Candy said. They spoke for a long while before the call ended. Candy felt lonely again.
Feeling bored, she decided to take a quick stroll down the street. Her eyes caught an ice cream shop, and she recalled how Diego told her to call him ‘hubby’ out of jealousy.
“One ice cream, please,” she demanded from the man in front.
“Make it two,” a deep familiar voice sounded behind her. Candy turned her head only to see the man she had met at the grocery store.
“You again?” Candy blinked several times.
“Hey, shortie,” Griffin grinned.
“I told you to stop calling me that. I’m not short,” Candy glared.
“I actually like short women, so I could do this,” he spoke and ruffled Candy’s hair gently. “You look cute.”
“Hey!” Candy snapped at him, and he averted his hand. “I told you not to hit on me, I’m married.”
“Then he should find another wife. I want to steal you,” Griffin smirked. Candy scoffed and shook her head.
“You’ll die within a minute. It’s either I kill you myself or my husband does,” Candy shot a glare.
“Fine, fine, I was just teasing you… short…”
Candy glared harder.
“What’s your name?”
“I’m not telling you.”
“Then I’ll keep calling you short…”
“Candy! gosh, you’re on my nerves,” Candy pouted and took her ice cream. She turned to leave immediately.
“Shortie!!!” Griffin said loud enough for her to hear.
“Fuçk you!” Candy exclaimed too, raising her middle finger.
Griffin rested his back on the counter, diving both of his hands into his pocket as he stared at Candy.
“I must be crazy,” he mumbled.

Candy gave herself one last look in her hand mirror. It was the birthday celebration, and she was nervous. Today, she is meeting Diego’s grandfather.
The car halted before a huge mansion, surrounded by beautiful lights. Servants and security strolled around the place.
“I badly want to fly to New York,” Yazmine mumbled beside her. Coming home after a dinner with Aiden last night, Yazmine almost fainted with Jameson’s news.
“He’ll be back tomorrow. By the way, you haven’t told me where you went last night,” Candy said.
“Nothing,” Yazmine quickly said and got down from the car.
“She is definitely seeing someone,” Candy said and got down too.
A strong arm suddenly pulled her, and she gasped. His familiar amazing cologne filled her nostrils. She smiled beautiful as she looked up to her husband.
Diego leaned down to her ear. “Wife, should we go back home? You’re so beautiful, I want to be the only one to stare at you,” he whispered.
“That’s tempting, Mr. President, but I badly want to meet your family,” she wrapped her arms around his neck. Tucking her hair behind her ear, he leaned down and kissed her briefly.
They held each other’s hands and walked into the large hall filled with guests, dressed exquisitely. As they stepped in, all eyes turned to them.
Last year, he walked in alone, but now, he was walking with his wife. The stares made Candy a bit shy.
Their matching dress suited them perfectly as they exuded a beautiful and powerful aura. The guests whispered among themselves, men drooling over Candy and women wishing they were the one holding hands with the demigod.
Candy’s breath halted as they stepped toward the old man, dressed in an expensive suit. He exuded a calm but powerful aura. Laying his eyes on his grandson and his wife, he stood up slowly.
“Good evening, sir. I’m Candy. Nice to meet you and happy birthday,” Candy introduced calmly, though nervous inside.
“Hm, I know who you are already. I just didn’t know you’d look even more beautiful physically,” Old Mavis complimented.
Diego finally smiled, glad the old man didn’t behave weird. “Happy birthday, old man.”
“I’m not old” Old Mavis raised his brow. “Am I?” He face Candy.
“You look great, sir,” Candy’s reply made the man smile wider.
“I wonder how such an angel keeps up with this stubborn man here.”
Candy snickered while Diego’s face dropped.
“I hope he didn’t give you too much trouble?”
“He did,” Candy said, and Diego gave her a look. “A lot actually.”
Old Mavis burst into a light laugh; he held Candy’s hand. “May I borrow your wife for a moment? I’d like to talk to her.”
Before Diego could reject, Candy gave him an assuring squeeze on his hand and replied.
“Sure, sir.”
Diego sighed watching them leave, but then a male voice sounded behind them.
“Son.”
Diego’s face immediately turned cold. It better not be the person he thinks. Turning his head slowly, his instinct turned out to be right. His father?!
If looks could kill, Romeo should be seven feet underground.
“What in the world are you doing here?” Diego’s cold voice made Romeo recall Vincent’s words.
‘The Diego you knew nine years ago is not the same.’
And he was right; it was his son, but his dominating aura made him freeze.
That wasn’t all, because another figure slowly appeared behind Romeo. Well-dressed in a dark suit, his hair styled backward revealing his handsome face.
Griffin…
The moment their eyes met, a chill seemed to settle in the room. People instinctively stepped back, sensing the tension crackling between the two men.
Their icy gazes locked for a long while until Griffin broke the silence… A dark smirk gracing on his lips.
“Hello, brother, it’s nice to finally meet you…”
