“What the….”
Jameson’s words caught in his throat as he watched the two figures abruptly disentangle from each other.
Yazmine and Aiden’s faces turned pale, both momentarily forgetting how to speak.
“James?!” Yazmine scratched her head awkwardly. “W.. what are you doing here?”
“What do you mean by that question? It was you who asked me to help with the grocery store later on. When did you return? And..” Jameson’s gaze fixed on Aiden, his expression intense.
“And what the heck were you doing with my sister?” He uttered through gritted teeth.
“Mr. James, I can explain, um…” Aiden swallowed, exchanging a glance with Yazmine for a moment.
“I’ve been dating Yazmine for a while now, and I was about to let you know. I’m so sorry you had to find out this way,” Aiden apologized politely, though clearly nervous.
“Oh really?” Jameson stepped forward, but Yazmine stood in his way, positioning herself between Jameson and Aiden. Her gaze locked with Jameson’s.
“Brother, allow me to introduce you to my boyfriend, whom I love so much…”
Jameson sighed, the image of Aiden pinning and kissing his sister still fresh in his mind. “This is insane,” he mumbled.
“I’m not a kid. Aiden is not a bad guy,” Yazmine said firmly and calmly.
Jameson glanced at Aiden, who had his hands behind him. Aiden bowed gently when their eyes met.
“Fine,” Jameson muttered, his expression still stubborn.
As they ate together, Aiden could feel Jameson’s intense gaze on him, which only made him more nervous. Yazmine went to get drinks.
“Mr. James, I understand how you feel right now. I would also feel the same way. I’m sorry,” Aiden said.
“Tell me how you’ll feel,” Jameson demanded.
“Uhh.. I’ll feel like killing him,” Aiden replied, and Jameson’s lips curved up a little but dropped almost immediately.
“That’s how I feel right now,” Jameson stated, and Aiden swallowed. “And I’ll definitely do that if you mess with her,” he said seriously.
“What’s with the atmosphere?” Yazmine asked, darting her eyes between her brother and boyfriend. She dropped the drinks and folded her arms.
“Oh nothing, we were just talking,” Jameson shrugged, with a smile.
Aiden gave Yazmine an assuring smile.
“So when are you leaving?” Yazmine suddenly asked.
Jameson thought she was asking Aiden, but it turned out to be him. His face dropped as he faced his sister.
“Huh? So you guys can continue?”
“Go get a girlfriend,” Yazmine rolled her eyes.
“Jackie is not picking her calls,” Jameson said before he knew it. Yazmine’s smile widened while Aiden’s expression turned into one of shock. “Uhm.. that’s not what I meant.”
“Awwn.. are you considering Jackie as your girlfriend now?” Yazmine grinned.
“No, she’s not.. I’m just worried about her. Maybe I should I go check on her physically.”
“Right, go on..” Yazmine said.
“Why are you in a rush to chase me away?” Jameson asked.
“Urgh!” Yazmine huffed.
“Fine I’m leaving,” Jameson scoffed and stood, pretending to be angry. “I’m never coming here again.”
“He’s at it again. You’ve said that a thousand times and you never keep it,” she said.
“I mean it this time. You just hurt your dear brother,” Jameson said, and Yazmine chuckled. He faced Aiden, and his expression turned serious.
“Aiden, we’ll see each other, alright?” He winked and turned to leave.
“Shut the door while leaving!” Yazmine smirked as she yelled.
“Can you stop making me feel this way!” Jameson yelled and quickly left.
Yazmine chuckled. It’s amazing to tease him. She returned her gaze to Aiden.
“Uhm, sorry about that.”
“Oh no, it’s fine. Your brother really cares about you. More than you can imagine,” Aiden stated.
“I know,” Yazmine smiled.

Candy returned home with Diego. Ben, who had been waiting for them the whole time, rushed to hug her.
“Are you okay now, Miss Damsel?” He asked.
“Hm,” Candy nodded with a smile.
“She needs to rest,” Diego said to Ben, indicating for him not to stress her.
“Oh.. it’s fine. It doesn’t hurt anymore. The pain disappeared completely.”
As the night drew close, Ben fell asleep, and Candy made to prepare dinner, but Diego didn’t agree.
“C’mon Di, I promise I’m fine,” she pouted with a sad look.
“Still, no,” the man replied, holding her firmly onto his lap as he worked on his system. They were both in the study room.
Seeing how stubborn her husband was, Candy thought of something and slowly traced her hand down to his bulge.
Diego’s eyes widened as his head snapped towards her.
“What are you doing?” He asked.
“Do you want it?” She asked, rubbing her finger gently on his groin, making him hard. Diego immediately held her.
“Wife, at this moment I can’t do this since…”
“It’s a blow job,” she whispered, and the man’s face turned pale for a moment. “It comes with a price, Mr. President.”
“I’m not letting you co…” He couldn’t finish his word as Candy gently slammed her lips on his. She sucked on his lower lip, pulling it gently.
“Fine, only if I’ll stay with you then.”
“Hm, hm,” Candy smirked, unbuckling his trousers. Diego took a deep breath.
“You must not hurt yourself too.”
“Stop getting worried. I’m your wife, not a kid,” she whispered again, kissing him gently. Diego groaned into her mouth, feeling her hand touching his member. He held her face close and deepened the kiss.
With lips parted, he watched Candy kneel before him…
“Oh Gawd,” he groaned, sweeping his hair backwards as his wife began to pleasure him.

Same night***
A spacious room, well-furnished and comfortable. Phoenix sat on her couch, wearing headphones as she focused on the game before her, her fingers working the controller.
“C’mon!” She groaned.
“Yes!!” She jumped from her seat, throwing her arms in the air in excitement. A knock interrupted her moment, and she stopped.
That must be the pizza delivery, great! Tying her hair into a bun, she headed towards her door to open it.
Her eyes met with a tall figure, and her face immediately turned pale. She tried shutting the door, but his hand held it.
Turning back inside, she immediately went for her phone.
He held her hair, pulling her back. Phoenix hit her elbow on his waist and reached for her phone again.
Her leg was swept from the ground, her back hitting the ground hard. She groaned and watched the man take her phone.
“Sigh… You were running to inform Diego,” Griffin scoffed, returning his gaze to her.
Phoenix stood swiftly, heading to her drawer for her gun. Before her hand could reach it, Griffin grabbed her waist and threw her to the couch.
He hovered over her, pinning both of her hands above and one knee holding her leg.
“Let go of me, prick!” She spat on his face.
Griffin shut his eyes closed, his face squeezing in anger. In a split of a second, he brought a knife towards Phoenix’s neck.
“It won’t take me a lot of energy to end you right now, baby… don’t anger me,” he warned, and Phoenix held her breath as the cold metal reached her skin.
“What the hell do you want?” She asked.
“Don’t you miss me?” He asked lightly, shifting his gaze down to her Brë@šts. Phoenix wasn’t wearing much… just a tube top and shorts, so Griffin could see those lovely peaches calling for his attention.
“Get lost, nitwit,” she groaned.
“Don’t you miss how we used to Fuçk…?” He asked, drawing his face close. “d@mn. You look sëxier than before.”
Phoenix managed to slip her hands out, she pushed his hand holding the knife away from her neck and kneed his groin.
Trying to get away, Griffin held her again, this time punching her face. Phoenix’s lips bursted.
Griffin snaked his hand hard around her neck, choking her.
“Diego’s Bîtch number one.. am I right? Did you enjoy how that bastard Fuçked and trashed you aside.. that you now work for him?”
“At least.. he.. is better than you,” she managed to speak.
“Are you still in love with him? The man that literally Fuçks without giving a d@mn about you?”
“That is none of your business, Griffin,” Phoenix glared. Choking, her eyes teared up.
“Tssk.. It is my business, baby. You were my girl..”
“You betrayed me. You gave me out to those bastards that almost R@PED me to death. Diego saved me.. you Fuçking @$$hOles,” Phoenix gasped when his hold tightened more.
“Well, that was because you fell for him while you were still my girl. He took my dreams and then you away from me.. Sh|ts happens and now I crave for what he has now.. Candy.”
Phoenix’s eyes widened.. what the hell?!
“I’ll take his wife and also that position he stole from me.”
“He never wanted it.. but you pushed him to. It’s all your fault, not his,” Phoenix was losing consciousness due to lack of air.
“Wh@tëver.. you’re coming with me,” he stated, tightening his hold around her neck until she passed out.
___
“Mr. President isn’t coming today?” Yazmine asked Candy.
“Hm, he had something to handle,” Candy replied.
“Awwn.. you look great after just a few days at home,” Yazmine teased.
“Well, Aiden is doing a good job,” Candy said, and Yazmine’s smile dropped.
“Huh? How did you know?” She asked. “Hmm.. it was Jameson, wasn’t it?”
“I’m mad at you; you didn’t tell me,” Candy pouted.
“I was about to,” Yazmine smiled awkwardly.
Aiden came to sit beside them, and Yazmine got up. They exchanged smiles. Candy noticed this and shook her head.
Aiden’s face turned serious.
“I think something serious is up. Mr. James looked disturbed this morning when he rushed out after the president called,” he said. Yazmine and Candy exchanged glances.
___
“You still think Griffin is going to stay still? Just do what Diego said, but if he comes back and throws a fit,” Old Mavis said to Romeo sitting in the living room.
“And what good is that going to bring, father?” Romeo asked.
“Peace of mind, Romeo. Peace of mind,” Old Mavis took a deep breath. “You know you are the start of everything that had.”
“So tell me what to do. I just want to bring the family back. Diego is not going to forgive me.. argh.. honestly I don’t even deserve it,” Romeo muttered, staring into space, he pinched the bridge of his nose.
“That was why I quit after a year of becoming the president. I realized my mistake late. I tried to bring his dream back but he h@tëd it even more..”
Romeo remembered the day he bought a piano as a gift to Diego. He knew that dream was mostly shut because of him. He recalled how Diego flared up in anger and destroyed the present.
‘You think you can amend your mistake after mother died?! It took late to amend your mistake so just go away and never come back okay! Just Fuçking leave. Don’t think you still have a son.. your son died the same day you killed your wife!!!’
Romeo ran his fingers through his hair as Diego’s harsh words rang into his head.
“If he doesn’t forgive you. He is not at fault. You went to extremes that made me wonder if you are really my son,” Old Mavis said. “By the way, I hope you have your eyes on Griffin.”
“I do, I have many men watching him. Vincent is also doing the same.”
However, the door flew open as Diego stormed in with a fierce look.
“Where’s Griffin?” Diego shot a glare at Romeo.
“Diego? What happened?” Romeo asked.
“Just answer the Fuçking question,” Diego snapped.
“I’m here,” Griffin’s voice sounded from a distance.
The militaries behind Diego marched fast towards Griffin cuffing his hands.
“What are you doing?”
“Taking him back to where he was supposed to be.” He shifted his gaze back to Romeo. “I told you to send him back.. this @$$hOle will never change.”
Griffin had a grin on his face as the military began to drag him out.
“Why are sending me back? Are you afraid I’m gonna beat you?” He laughed lightly.
Diego didn’t give him a reply as he watched them drag him out. His phone rang; seeing Jameson’s name on the screen, he immediately picked up.
“Diego, you need to come.”
Hearing this, Diego made a call with his men to trace Griffin.
___
As the car moved, Griffin took note of the men around him. There were four military and a black car trailing behind them… of course, those were Diego’s men.
His jaw moving, he slightly opened his mouth, revealing a pin and dropped it on his palm.
“Gosh! My head is banging so hard right now,” he complained, turning his head to the military sitting beside him.
“Hey, do you have a cigarette?” Griffin asked, but got no reply from him.
“I’m talking to you, @$$hOle,” still no reply. “Gosh… this is terrible.”
In the next moment, he grabbed the military by his collar. Seeing this, the man’s eyes widened.
He tried to bring out his gun but got hit on his face, causing him to bleed.
The other one by his side tried to hold him. Griffin took the knife hidden in the man’s pocket and shoved it directly into his eyes. Blood splashed over. He removed the knife and cut the neck of the other too.
His moves were dangerously fast.
The one at the front tried to shoot Griffin. Griffin took one of the bodies, blocking the bullet coming towards him.
He took the gun from the dead man beside him and immediately shot the one shooting. Not wasting another moment, he shot the driver too.
The driver stirred the wheel and the van lost its balance, screeching and tumbling over. The world seemed to slow down around them.
The van collided with the ground, upside down, the crash sound filling the air. Smoke came out from it.
The black car trailing them abruptly stopped as some men in black came down, pointing their guns in their direction.
‘Kill him if anything happens’
That was the instruction Diego gave. However, they saw how damaged the van was and thought they were all dead.
One of them decided to check, pulling out the door. Immediately that happened, a bullet flew across, hitting the guy’s head.
“Fire!” one of them roared and the gunshots filled the air. Every bullet hit the van.
When they made to reload, a hand grabbed the removed door, bringing it up. Griffin forced himself out and began to shoot the men, using the van’s door as a shield.
The men went down in some seconds and he breathed out shakily. His gaze went down to the wound on his stomach. There was a glass pierced there..
He was losing blood but he cared less…
Forcing himself up, his cold gaze settled on the forest on the roadside.
Taking a deep breath, he stepped into the forest…
