Hailey’s smile turned to a frown the moment Mason made that statement. Agnes immediately added her mouth.
“Hailey, your friend in elementary school, the both of you built a playhouse together, here’s a picture of you two when you first played on it” Agnes opened a picture and passed it to him.
Mason stretched his hands and Agnes thought he wanted to take it but he took a spoon and dished some soup for himself, startling both Agnes and Hailey.
“Aunt Agnes, you said elementary school so I don’t remember. I don’t have a long memory capacity” he spoke without sparing Hailey any glance.
“Too bad you don’t remember her, you two were so close that you almost joked about marrying her” Maya muttered.
Skyler frowned to herself, she wasn’t feeling the appetite to eat anymore. What was Maya trying to do with all these?
“Mom, stop saying all these in front of Skyler. Mason is married and he doesn’t remember Hailey anymore” Ivy rolled her eyes.
Hailey frowned at Ivy behind her back.
“Yes mom, I’m married so get that before trying to do anything” Mason repeated what Ivy said while giving Maya an ‘am I clear look’ and Grandpa Mario secretly smiled.
Just what he had expected.
The atmosphere in the dinning was a bit tense and Ivy decided to break it a little.
“So my company is launching an opening party for my movie and I want you all to be there as a family” she announced.
“Will there be cake?” Carson asked.
“Plenty of cakes,” Ivy smiled.
“And I can invite my friends?” He asked again.
“If they dress well and don’t embarrass you then yeah” Ivy nodded.
“Expect me then” Carson bumped fist with her.
“You know I will never miss any occasion from any of you so expect me there” Grandpa Mario smiled at her.
“Thank you Grandpa” Ivy was really happy that her grandpa would be there.
“Why wouldn’t I be there to support you?” Maya said and Ivy smiled even more.
“I would like to be there,” Skyler said.
“Me too” Hailey and Agnes said at the same time and Skyler twitched her lips a little.
Everybody agreed to come except for Mason and Rosa.
“Since everyone is going then I guess I will come” Rosa rolled her eyes and Ivy eyes went to Mason.
She was waiting for him to say something but it didn’t say anything which made her a little sad.
After dinner, Hailey and Agnes left and some people went to sleep including Mason and Skyler.
Skyler was laying and looking at the ceiling when Mason came out of the bathroom and came to join her. She changed her position and hugged his waist, resting her head on his chest.
Mason also hugged her waist and kissed her forehead.
“Mason.. Ivy really wanted to see you at her launch party” she said softly.
“I might be busy tomorrow night,” he replied.
“But she’s your sister and she really wants to see you there” Skyler pouted.
When Mason didn’t reply to her, she pushed herself up and climbed his body, straddling him.
“Tell me I will see you at Ivy’s launch party!” She suddenly turned serious.
“If I say you won’t?” He asked with a smirk.
“Then I will strangle you!” She replied and brought her two hands to strangle his neck.
“You know I love where this is going?” He smirked and pushed himself up to kiss her neck but she pushed him back.
“I’m serious here Mason, please for me, can you just attend your sister’s party. You don’t have to be too cold with your family members” she said seriously.
Mason stared at her face for a while before sighing.
“Fine, I will think about coming”
Skyler smiled widely, he said he will think about coming which was a positive feedback for her. Ivy would be really happy to see her brother there.
“I better start looking for matching clothes for the both of us” she wanted to stand up but Mason didn’t let her.
“I love it when you’re close to me like this, stay” he pulled her to lay on his chest.
After a while of silence, Skyler slowly looked at his face, his eyes were closed and she pressed her lips together.
“You want to say something?” He asked without opening his eyes. Though he had his eyes closed, he could feel that she was staring at him.
“Do you really not remember Hailey?” She slowly asked.
“Why are you asking?” A slow smirk formed on his face.
“I’m just asking, you know her mom said you two were really close, you built a playhouse with her and you joked about marrying her. Your mom even likes her” Skyler blabbered with jealousy evident in her voice.
A laughter sound came from Mason’s lips and Skyler immediately raised herself to look at his face.
“Are.. you laughing?” She squeezed her face.
“I..”
“I get it, it’s funny to you right? I’m going to bed” she pushed herself away from his body and lay down, facing another side.
Mason smiled and hugged her from behind.
“You know I don’t have eyes for another woman that is not you. I might have said some dumb things in my past which I didn’t remember but I don’t care now, I only want you in my life right now” he whispered in her ears but she didn’t say anything.
“I’m really serious Skyler, you don’t know how happy I get each time I see your face or think about you. I bless the way I met you because if I hadn’t then how would I ever be this happy for the first time in my life?” He was talking to her and asking himself at the same time.
“Are you trying to say that I make you happy?” She asked, trying to hide her smile.
“Yes, do I make you happy too?” He asked and she turned to face him then hugged his face tightly with a wide smile.
Mason hugged her tighter to himself and kissed her forehead again.
“Mason” Skyler called in a soft voice, it sounded like she was feeling sleepy already.
“Hmm?” He hummed a reply at her.
“I love you” she said before sleeping off.
Mason opened his eyes to stare at her face. He was a little stunned and didn’t know what to say but somehow he was very comfortable with it.
He hugged her more to himself before closing his eyes and sleeping off too.

HOSPITAL★
Jacob was walking back and forth, thinking about what happened earlier. There were lots of miss calls from his mother, grandpa and some of his cousins but he didn’t have the strength to talk to anyone.
The doctor came out of the ward and he gave the doctor an immediate look.
“Talk to me doc, what is happening? How is the lady, I hope she isn’t dead” He pleaded, he really didn’t want to have the nightmare of killing someone.
“She is not dead but she lost a lot of blood, luckily there’s blood in the bank that matches with hers so her surgery will start tomorrow” the doctor said and Jacob breathed out in a sigh of relief.
“Thank goodness, please I will pay any amount just to help her get better, please” he pleaded.
“I can’t promise you Mr Delgado but I will try my best” the doctor replied before leaving.
Jacob fell on the chair and gripped his hair tight.

AGNES’ PLACE★
Hailey angrily threw everything on her table on the floor the moment she got to her room.
“Baby” Agnes sighed and moved closer to her.
“He didn’t even look at me, he didn’t talk about me because he had forgotten me!!” Hailey screamed out of anger.
“Shhh..” Agnes pulled her daughter for a hug.
“We will try again at Ivy’s party, he’s really blinded by that fake woman sitting beside him. She isn’t even pretty” Agnes rolled her eyes.
“I know right?” Hailey pulled away and cleaned her tears.
“Don’t give up, he said he would marry you when he was little and he must keep his process” Agnes sounded really determined.
She doesn’t care how anything goes but she would make sure Mason marries her daughter.

DELGADOS’ MANSION★
Skyler woke up early, she checked the clock to see that it was just 6am and she shook her head before going to the room to find herself some water.
When she got down, she heard the sound of someone crying coming from the kitchen and she slowly went there.
She was surprised to see Rosa smoking and crying at the same time. The Rosa she knows was always causing troubles with Maya, she was surprised that this woman could cry.
“Aunt” she slowly walked in and Rosa immediately threw the cigarette from her hands.
She turned back on Skyler and began drying her face.
“Aunt you okay?” She asked, looking worried.
Rosa burst out into another round of tears again.
“I’m just really worried about my son, maybe Maya is right, maybe he killed himself because I’ve been such a terrible mother to him that way I was with his late father” she cried and Skyler sighed before going to stand beside her.
“Aunt don’t say that” she said softly.
“I really am horrible Skyler,I ruined my son’s life. If I had been nicer to his father then he wouldn’t have killed himself and now my son will make the same mistake too” Rosa blocked her face, feeling disappointed at herself.
Skyler walked to the fridge and took a soda, she opened it and passed it to Rosa who collected it.
“Aunt, it’s normal to make mistakes, everyone has and let me tell you that no one in the world has perfect behavior. The best thing is recognizing your mistake and fixing it” Skyler said with a smile.
“But Jacob h@tës me now” Rosa replied and sniffed in her tears.
“He doesn’t trust me and it’s never too late to correct your mistakes. I think Jacob just needed a little push that no one gave him. You know if you encourage him then he would try because I believe he would listen to you more” Skyler smiled at her.
“You think?” Rosa asked slowly and Skyler nodded with a smile.
She went to take a class and fetched some water from the tap.
“I actually came here for this, good night aunt” she showed her the glass and began leaving.
“Skyler” Rosa called and Skyler turned back.
“Thank you,” she said with a smile.
Skyler smiled back before leaving.

LIGHTHOUSE HIGH★
“Yo Fred, my sister is inviting you to her launch party, are you coming?” Carson walked up to Fred who was standing in front of his locker.
Fred closed his locker and stared at Carson with an apologetic face.
“I can’t I’m sorry, I promised my mom movie night tonight” Fred replied and walked away.
Carson sighed but his face brightened when he saw Simon.
“Simon, would you like to follow me to my sister’s launch party tonight?” He asked.
“I would love to but I can’t. I’m sorry, I have a date” Simon replied before leaving.
Carson sighed to himself and shook his head.
“Why don’t you just ask me?” A familiar voice sounded behind Carson and he suddenly froze.
“Are you suddenly avoiding me after that night?” James crossed his arms around his chest.
Carson blinks repeatedly as he had a flashback of what happened two nights ago. He was studying with James as usual and they suddenly began kissing and before he knew it his shirt was off and his trousers and James gave him a hot bl0w-j0b of his life.
It was his first time and he couldn’t stop thinking about it and at the same time he didn’t know how to react after doing that with a guy.
“You didn’t like it?” James asked and Carson immediately turned to face him.
“It’s not like that really, I just.. I just don’t know how to act after doing all that because you and I are no longer the same after that” Carson sighed.
“Of course we are not because I really like you and you do too,I know you do but you don’t want to say anything, I really don’t know what you are afraid of” James replied.
Carson didn’t say anything and James sighed, he turned around and began leaving suddenly.
“I like you too,” Carson shouted and immediately covered his mouth with his palms.
James turned to look at him with a smile.
“Did you say you like me? I like you too” he said and Carson removed his palm from his mouth.
“I really like you James and I don’t care what others say,I can’t stop thinking about you, your lips and two nights ago, I just..” Carson was talking when James grabbed his hands.
“Come with me” he said and dragged Carson to the male restroom.
When they got there, he shut the door and looked at it.
“I also can’t stop thinking about you and everything about you” he said huskily after pinning him against the wall.
“Can you just kiss me already?” Carson groaned and grabbed his collar before slamming his lips on James and they began kissing crazily.
James hands went to Carson’s bulge and he began stroking it which earned a little Mõ@n from him.
He suddenly stopped and pulled away from the kiss.
“Why did you stop?” Carson asked.
“Are you okay with me being naughty with you? I’m really the nasty type of guy but if you don’t like it then I will stop” he said softly.
“Who said I don’t like it, give me another BJ before our break is over” Carson smirked.
James let out a naughty smile before unzipping his trousers and Carson’s d_1ck sprung out.
“I love how naughty you are becoming” he smiled and went on his knees before taking Carson whole in his mouth.
Carson gripped the wall really tight with the sudden pleasure and threw his head backwards.

Mason was typing on his laptop and trying to work but he couldn’t concentrate. He couldn’t stop thinking about what Skyler said to him last night, it hasn’t left his head since he woke up.
Alvin knocked twice and stepped in.
“I’ve collected all the drawings for the latest designs. Have a good look at them before we begin processing it” he said and Mason nodded then collected it.
He began going through it but suddenly stopped and stared at Alvin, Alvin gave him a confused look.
“Alvin, how will you know if you love someone?” He suddenly asked.
