“Skyler!!!” The door pushed open and Ivy was the first to rush in, before she could pounce on Skyler’s body, Mason caught her forearm and pulled her back.
“She’s not feeling well yet, you shouldn’t rush her like that” he said calmly.
Skyler only gave Mason a low smile before looking at Ivy.
“I’m fine, really,” she said softly.
Grandpa Mario and the others including Maya stepped in.
“Sky” he walked towards her and felt her forehead.
“Your temperature is normal but I made you some soup, you should try it, it smells nice” he began opening the flask while Emily rolled her eyes from behind.
Mason didn’t say anything, he was just watching quietly with his hands in his pocket and earlier both him and Skyler agreed not to tell the old man anything about losing the baby.
“Thank you Grandpa, it really does smell nice” Skyler smiled at him.
“So why was my sister in-law bleeding earlier?” Hudson was the first to ask.
“Yeah Skyler you were bleeding earlier what happened?” Edna agreed and all of them had curious eyes except from Maya who was faking to be worried.
“Grandpa, it’s nothing she slipped while she was in the bathroom which got her injured but her wound has been taken care of” Mason was quick enough to cover up.
“I’m really sorry about that sis, you should have called Mason, if that bomb wasn’t fake then the both of you would have been past tense by now” Ivy muttered with a sad pout.
“But you should be happy that we aren’t” Skyler let out a low smile.
“Hmm” Ivy nodded.
“Alright grandpa, I think you guys should leave before that paparazzi somehow locates us here” Mason said when he felt like they were staying for too long.
“You’re right, please make sure Sky eats the soup and when is she coming home?” The old man asked.
“I can come tonight,” Skyler replied but Mason didn’t agree with her.
“I already told the doctor that you are leaving here tomorrow,I want to make sure you feel really better” Mason told her.
Skyler just looked at him but she didn’t know how to argue with him so she didn’t say anything.
“Hey sis, make sure you check the news and see who’s taking the number one headline” Edna winked at Skyler before they all left the hospital.
The ward was back to quiet again, Mason knew Skyler wanted to say something with the way she was looking at him so he nodded.
“I feel so bad that we had to lie to Grandpa, he’s always wanted a grandchild and he’s friends with Agnes and Hailey’s family” she muttered.
Mason sighed and moved closer to her. He took her hands and kissed it.
“You shouldn’t worry about that, we can have another baby later and I know we are both busy especially you and about Hailey and Agnes, I will deal with them and make sure they wouldn’t bother us again, trust me I know how to” he gave her an assuring look.
Skyler trusted him so she nodded and he gave her a peck on the forehead.

Two days had passed and Skyler was discharged from the hospital, the family gave her a warm welcome back to the mansion.
The next day, she returned back to her teaching class, but she didn’t go there without an excuse.
“Skyler, welcome back, where did you run off too?” Cynthia rushed to hug Skyler the moment she came back.
“I took permission from Miss Elizabeth that I was going for my sister’s wedding, I even brought cakes” Skyler showed Cynthia the bag she was holding.
“Did I hear cake?” Jasper walked up to them with a smile and waved at Skyler.
“Welcome back,I was about to ask where you were for two days until I heard you went for your sister’s wedding and it’s surprising because I didn’t know you had a sister” he narrowed his eyes on her.
Skyler only forced a smile at him before taking her seat. Lily was behind them, taking selfies with herself as usual, not bothering about anything.
Cynthia sat beside her while eating the cake. She suddenly brought out her phone and showed Skyler.
“Did you by chance hear of this?” She asked.
Skyler’s eyes widened but she immediately covered it up and shook her head. It was the picture of her and Mason at the party both putting on nose masks.
The headline was, Mr Delgado was spotted with his wife publicly for the first time and there were lots of pictures of them having millions of likes and views.
Skyler blinked repeatedly and cleared her throat. “I was so busy with my sister’s wedding two days ago that I didn’t hear of these, when did it happen?” As she asked, she tried not to sound suspicious.
Anyways Cynthia didn’t get any chance to suspect her as Miss Elizabeth entered the class.
“Students pause on wh@tëver you’re doing,we have lots of notes to catch up on” she faced the teaching board the moment she entered.
Skyler thanked God inwardly as she brought out her notebook, getting ready to pay attention to the class.

STARBUCKS STUDIO★
“The movie is really getting lots of audience with the fake bomb incident that happened at the lunch party” director James said proudly.
“And why are you proud about that? We could have died” Ivy stared at him.
They were both sitting in the office and having a discussion. When director James gave Ivy a type of look, her eyes widened.
“Don’t tell me it’s what I’m thinking?” Ivy said slowly.
“I planned the fake bomb” director James confessed and Ivy jumped from her chair.
“How could you be a director!!” She yelled out.
“I had too!!” He groaned.
“You didn’t have too” she gave him an unbelievable look.
“I do, we need attention Ivy,” he said tiredly.
“Attention? Do you know how many people got hurt thinking their lives were in danger? My sister in-law got injured!!” Ivy was really angry.
“Look I’m sorry we had to go that far” director James gave her a pleading look.
“Yes director, you should be sorry!” Ivy scoffed and angrily stepped out of the office.
When she stormed to the parking lot and entered her car, her phone beeped and it was a text from Blake.
He was asking if she would be free for ice cream.
“Where are you?” She texted back to him.
“Close to lick me at the ice cream shop? How was the meeting with the director, do you want me to come pick you up?” He texted back.
“Don’t worry I’ll meet you there”
After dropping the last text, she put her phone inside her purse and started her car.

Mason just finished having a video conference with some of his clients from abroad when Alvin stepped in.
“Trent dropped by and I was asked to give all these to you” he gave Mason a flash drive and an envelope
Mason nodded and collected it.
“The drive is contacting the proof you want and the envelope is containing the details of the person they bumped into at the party, it might not be who we thought it was” Alvin explained as Mason opened the envelope.
“Who’s this man? I saw him at the party but I can’t remember who he is?” Mason asked, showing the picture of director James to Alvin.
“That’s Director James, he is Ivy’s movie producer and director and he was the one behind the fake bomb in order to promote drama for your sister’s movie release, what a psycho” Alvin shook his head.
Mason was still confused, if director James planned the fake bomb then who informed him about it, trying to scare him?
“And the flash contains the proof of Hailey and Skyler” Alvin reported and Mason shook his head from the bomb incident to the laptop.
He played the video and began watching but wasn’t pleased with what he was seeing. The nerve of that woman named Hailey.
A knock sounded on the door.
“Who?” Alvin asked.
“It’s Skyler” she replied and Mason closed the laptop before giving Skyler the permission to come in.
It was already 5pm and she didn’t want to go back, she wanted to stay with Mason.
“I should take my leave now boss” Alvin let out a short bow before leaving the office.
“Come here” Mason stretched his hands over for Skyler to come to him and she then rested comfortably on his body.
He hugged her waist to himself and used his remote to lock the door automatically so no one would come in and disturb them.
“How was the class beautiful? Hope you’re learning a lot” he asked softly.
“Why do you love calling me beautiful?” Skyler, who was snuggling on his chest, looked up at him.
“Because you are beautiful” he simply replied and her cheeks turned slightly red hearing that coming from him.
She knew she was beautiful but she loved it when his eyes glimmered as he appreciated her beauty.
“Then I should start calling you handsome” she smiled and he raised her chin up to give her a peck on the lips.
“Beautiful I will be going to see Hailey and her mother this evening” he suddenly said and Skyler looked up at him immediately.
Her eyes were curious, he could tell that she was wondering why he wanted to go there.
“I want to make her pay for what she did to our baby” he whispered.
“You’re not.. gonna kill her are you?” She slightly covered her mouth with her slender fingers.
She made Mason chuckle because he found her expression.
“I’m not a killer, I never will be but I would make sure her and her mother will never step foot into our family’s life, ever again”
There was so much determination in his voice and Skyler didn’t have any plans to stop him. As long as he was not planning to kill them then they deserve what he wanted to do to them.
“I love you” she muttered and hugged him tight.
“I love you more” he replied, earning a small chuckle from her.
“That’s not possible” she shook her head.
“We’ll see about that” he smirked and lifted her face up to his then pressed his lips on hers.

“What? How low can the Director scoop too?” Blake shook his head as he stepped out of the ice cream shop with Ivy.
They both had their cones in their hands licking and taking a walk.
“I feel bad for your sister in-law, I saw the way she was injured oh and I might have forgotten to tell you that your brother is super handsome” Blake added and Ivy turned to glare at him.
“What?” He asked with a chuckle.
“You’re starting to fall in love with my brother aren’t you?” She frowned at him.
“What?” Blake chuckled again.
“You didn’t even complete what you wanted to tell me in the party” she muttered and Blake stopped walking.
“You won’t mind if I finish up here?” He asked carefully.
“I wouldn’t,” Ivy muttered with a smile.
“In the party, I wanted to say I know the both of us can’t hide the chemistry flowing nonstop, I know I’m not the only one feeling all these” as he talked, Ivy was trying to hide her smile.
“Look Ivy, I really like you and I was wondering if you wouldn’t mind if I ask you to be my girlfriend?” He felt a little nervous as he asked.
Ivy was still smiling widely, not opening her mouth to say anything.
“Ivy, will you be my girlfriend?” He asked again.
“Oops I did it again, I played with your heart and you got lost in the game, oh baby baby” she sang slowly and as usual her voice sounded horrible.
Blake looked confused with her reaction.
“What are you saying? Or should I say singing?” He still sounded unsure, his heart was beating really fast.
Ivy suddenly burst into laughter.
“Of course Blake, I’ve waited due for so long, I thought you would never ask!!” She immediately threw herself around his arms tightly.
Blake happily hugged her back and they pulled away before he cupped her cheeks.
“I love you Ivy,” he smiled.
“And I love you too and d@mn, I can’t believe you’re my boyfriend!!” She replied and he chuckled.
“Wanna kiss?” She then asked.
“Paparazzi?” He raised one of his brows up.
“Don’t care, Regina has a new boyfriend too” she rolled her eyes and Blake chuckled before leaning closer to capture her lips in a soft manner which she also returned back to him.

Someone rang the doorbell when Hailey was balancing on her couch and watching a movie on the TV.
“Mom, are you expecting someone?” She asked out loud.
“No!!” Agnes’ voice came from the room upstairs and Hailey rolled her eyes before standing up and dragging her feet to the door.
When she opened it, her eyes widened with who she saw.
“Mason?”
