Skyler suddenly passing out brought lots of shock to everyone especially Mason and her mother. Mason didn’t mind that people were looking at him, he was the first to stand from the high table before the others stood with him.
“Skyler” her teammates caught her before she could fall on the ground.
“What happened to her?” Mason asked and began moving forward.
He was mad worried about her but he was trying his best not to reveal too much.
“I don’t know, she suddenly passed out” Cynthia replied when Mason walked up to them.
“Let me” he muttered and took Skyler from them, he carried her in a bridal style and began heading out of the stage, trying his best to act neutral when he was really worried inwardly.
“Oh no, I’m so worried that Mason might act rash and everyone would know Skyler is his wife” Ivy whispered to Blake because he was the only person apart from Alvin that just got to find out about him.
“I think we should go over and stop him before he lost himself” Blake whispered and stood up, he helped Ivy up and they both went after Mason.
“Brother, what’s happening? Who’s she?” Ivy gave Mason a kind of look when she saw him.
“I’m taking her to the” Mason replied.
“The paparazzi are watching you, hand her over to her mother” Ivy whispered to him but he didn’t answer her.
“Mason she’s right, hand her over to her mother the paparazzi are here, you don’t want to put Skyler in trouble do you?” Grandpa Mario walked in and Mason stopped moving.
“Give her to her mother Mason” he added and Mason shut his eyes tight before turning around.
His eyes caught Kiara who was standing behind him and he tried to maintain a good composure before walking over to her.
“Here or do you need me to help her to the car?” He asked.
“No need, I’ll take her from here” Kiara took him from Mason before Ashely and Wendy escorted her to the car they came out from and they drove off.
“Follow them and know where they took Skyler too” grandpa Mario whispered to Alvin who just nodded before rushing to do what he was told.
Mason stood alone, clenching his fist tight, society was blocking him from being with his loved one. He can easily ignore and reveal himself that he was Skyler’s husband but spotlight is brutal and Skyler won’t be able to handle it.
“Let’s go, Alvin has followed them, you’ll get a text of where Skyler is soon” grandpa Mario whispered to Mason but Mason didn’t want to move, he just grabbed Mason’s hands and forced him away from that scene.

HOSPITAL★
Ashely, Wendy and Kiara were standing outside, pacing back and forth as they waited for the Doctor to attend to Skyler.
“Aunt Kiara why did Skyler faint? I thought her husband was treating her well or had she been lieing to us?” Wendy broke the silence.
“Chill Wendy, let’s wait for what the doctor has to say first, let’s not start pointing fingers at anyone” Ashely scoffed and the emergency room door opened.
The doctor stepped out and took off his nose mask.
“How’s my daughter? What happened to her?” Kiara asked immediately.
“I will tell you but I have to know where her husband is first, I think he should be the first person to hear this news” the doctor replied.
“But her husband is not around just tell us!” The moment that word left Wendy’s lips, a male figure stepped in.
“I am here, what happened to my wife?”
Turning their head towards the direction of where that deep voice sounded, Ashely, Wendy and Kiara were startled to see one of the most handsome man alive.
It was Mason without his nose mask but no one could recognize him.
“Oh my God” Wendy drooled with her mouth wide open, Ashely had to cover up her lips with her palm.
“I know, Skyler’s husband is handsome but don’t drool” she whispered to Wendy.
The doctor smiled when he was Mason.
“I guess you must be Mr Wang” he said.
Mason just nodded, making Wendy and Ashely confused. How can he be Mr Wang? Was he married to Skyler or was he bearing Skyler’s last name instead of her bearing his.
“Well, first of all congratulations because your wife is actually some weeks pregnant, I don’t know if you are aware of this” the doctor started and Mason’s eyes widened in shock.
“Skyler is pregnant!?” Both Ashely and Wendy said at the same time with the same shocked expression on their face.
Kiara started by looking at Mason, the shocked look on his face, she guessed that he didn’t know anything about this news he just heard.
“But I noticed she has been working herself up too much and not eating or sleeping well which is like a great risk to the baby. You should thank goodness that she came here on time because any small mistake after this, she might have lost the baby” the doctor said.
“Can I see her?” Mason slowly asked.
“At this point I can only allow one person to come in, the rest can come tomorrow when she is awake and strengthened” the doctor replied.
Mason stared at Kiara, she wanted to go in but he also wanted to go in.
“You should go in, I’ll wait outside and I’ll see her tomorrow” Kiara muttered.
Mason nodded and stepped in.
“Aunt so what are we going to do now?” Ashely asked.
“You two should get going and if you come tomorrow, make some vegetable soup for Skyler” Kiara replied.
“And what about you aunt?” Wendy gave her a look.
“You should leave, I’ll be fine here” she muttered.
“But it’s cold here aunt, you’re not putting on any sweater or long sleeve, Skyler won’t be happy to find out you slept on the bench when she wakes up” Wendy still looked worried.
“I can’t leave my daughter alone, you should go” Kiara muttered and looked elsewhere.
“Aunt..”
“Let’s go Wendy, you can’t change aunt Kiara’s mind! We’ll just get her a thick blanket and hot cup of coffee tomorrow” Ashely began pulling Wendy out.
“Good night aunt, sleep tight” she said before leaving with Wendy.

Mason sat on the bed next to Skyler, he held her hand and stared at her sleeping face.
“I’m really sorry beautiful, I neglected you because I was so busy with work, I should have known” he said painfully and kissed her knuckles tenderly just to ease the tightness of his chest.
Mason spent the rest of the night, watching over Skyler that he didn’t know when he dozed off.
The next morning, Skyler slowly opened her eyes and the first thing her gaze caught was the unfamiliar ceiling then someone holding her hands.
She slowly turned to her side and she saw Mason dozing off.
“Mason” she called softly and he immediately opened his eyes in an alert way.
His eyes softly when he saw Skyler was awake.
“Good morning beautiful” he raised her knuckles up and kissed it.
“Why am I here? What happened?” She asked with a confused look.
“You passed out last night” he replied.
“Huh? What about the show? Oh no? I’m so sorry, I’m sorry” she began apologizing but Mason caught her off by planting a kiss on her lips.
He pulled away after few seconds.
“You did well, don’t worry, you did really great” he said with a soft smile.
Skyler smiled but suddenly paused when she remembered something. She immediately put her hand around her stomach and felt it.
“My baby? What about my baby?” She asked in a trembling voice and Mason gave her a kind of look.
“What do you mean? You know about the baby?” He looked at her like he couldn’t believe his eyes.
It was now Skyler realized what she did. She didn’t know what to say anymore.
“I.. I.. I was gonna tell you” she stuttered with a really nervous look.
Mason slowly removed his hands from hers and stood up.
“You knew? Are you trying to tell me that you’ve been with me for up to was it even a month or weeks and you’ve been pregnant for my own child and you didn’t bother telling me anything?” He gave her a surprised look.
“What do I even mean to you, for you to keep such from me?” Disappointment was clearly written in Mason’s voice.
Skyler gulped,she was about to talk when the door opened and Kiara stepped in.
“Skyler” she immediately ran in and hugged Skyler tight.
Skyler bit her lips and hugged her mom back but when she turned back, she saw Mason leaving.
Kiara pulled away and looked back.
“Why did he leave?” She asked slowly.
“Mom I think Mason is angry with me because I had my pregnancy from him for weeks” Skyler stared at Kiara with teary eyes.
“Don’t cry now, come here” Kiara hugged Skyler to herself.
“I was gonna tell him I swear, I just wanted to wrap up with that sales party at first. Mason loves holding grudges against people that hurt him, he’s never gonna speak to me again and it’s all my fault” Skyler resumed crying again.
The door opened, Ashely and Wendy stepped in.
“Aunt, Skyler!!” Wendy was the one who shouted, she was holding a thick blanket while Ashley was holding all the food they prepared.
Skyler pulled away from Kiara and cleaned her tears.
“Here you go aunt” Wendy passed the thick blanket to Kiara before looking around.
“Where is your husband Skyler?” She asked.
“He had to rush over for some work” Skyler replied and Ashely squeezed her face in a type of way.
“He still think of work when you’re in this condition? Hello don’t he know you’re pregnant?” Ashely frowned her face and before the talk about Mason could start, Kiara sneezed.
“Oh my, here’s your coffee aunt, please drink it while it’s hot” Ashely immediately opened the basket she was holding and passed a cup of coffee to Kiara.
“Thank you dear” Kiara smiled and accepted it.
“What happened mom? Did you sleep outside?” Skyler asked worriedly.
“Don’t worry about me, Ashely let Skyler have her soup” Kiara faced Ashely and Ashely nodded.
She brought out a bowl of hot vegetable soup and came to sit beside Skyler.
“Say ahh, eat healthy because you have a little bit you growing” Ashely pointed the spoon of Skyler’s mouth.
Skyler opened her mouth to receive the soup while Wendy came to sit beside her with a type of smile.
“Hey Skyler you’re so lucky, do you know Mason the hidden billionaire carried you on his arms yesterday?” She wiggled her brows in a teasy way.
“Don’t tease her, she already have a husband?” Ashely rolled her eyes.
Skyler only smiled inwardly but the inward smile was short lived when she remembered Mason was still mad at her.

DELGADOS’ MANSION ★
“I’m so worried about Skyler, where have her family taken her too” Ivy couldn’t stop moving back and forth.
“Are you sure we shouldn’t go see her somehow and not even care that people might recognize us from the Delgado family” Carson muttered.
“Yeah that’s not a smart thing to do, our family is one of the most looked up family by the media especially when it comes to Mason, if they figure out that Skyler is married to the hidden billionaire then the spot light won’t go easy on her and unlike us who’s has been brought up in the spot light for years, Skyler won’t be able to take the pressure” Jacob said and everyone turned to look at him.
“What?” He asked.
“It’s surprising” Edna replied and Jacob gave her a confused look.
“What’s surprising?”
“That you can actually talk this smart” she completed her words and Jacob rolled his eyes.
The family was in the living room, worried expect from Maya.
“I just got a news about Skyler, she’s pregnant!” Grandpa Mario suddenly announced.
