“What!?”
The family were in shock with what they just heard expect from Emily but she tried not to make it too obvious.
“I just got the news from Alvin, Skyler is pregnant” Grandma Mario repeated, he couldn’t hide how happy he was.
“Do you think Mason knows?” Hudson asked.
“Look at your dumb question, Mason is there with Skyler, how do you expect him not to know?” Edna rolled her eyes.
“Come on Edna, don’t tell me you’re still angry about that dress? You know it’s good as Regina bought it so I wouldn’t look like we are the ones patronizing our sister in-law” Ivy said and Edna only scoffed.
“I don’t have time for any of these, I’ll tell Alvin to take Skyler and her family members to our private hospital” the old man said happily.
“But they would see us,” Carson narrowed his brows.
“It doesn’t matter, we should trust Skyler’s family. Ivy and Edna, take some of Skyler’s belongings, we are going to meet her” Grandpa Mario happily announced and began going upstairs in a haste but he paused and looked back.
“Rosa, Emily, you two go make Skyler some chicken soup” he announced before going upstairs in a rush.
“Well..” Ivy looked at Edna.
“What?” Edna gave her a confused look.
“Let’s go get Skyler things, come on” Ivy replied and began heading upstairs to Mason and Skyler’s room and Edna had no choice but to roll her eyes.
“Since we don’t have anything to do, let’s get the car ready” Hudson wrapped his arms around Carson’s shoulder and began leaving.
Jacob rolled his eyes and followed them from behind. Rosa and Emily already entered the kitchen and Maya was left alone.
She sat on the couch and folded her legs together.
“They didn’t give me anything to do ” she mumbled painfully and looked elsewhere then it occurred to her again.
Skyler was pregnant which meant there was no more chance for Hailey to get into the family and Agnes might expose her long time secret.
“No, I have to do something,” she muttered to herself.

HOSPITAL★
Kiara, Ashely Wendy and Skyler were watching some videos together when the nurse stepped in with Mason.
Skyler smiled at him but he didn’t return the smile back to her.
“Your husband requested to transfer you to another hospital so I brought your discharge papers” the nurse said.
“What’s wrong with this hospital?” Kiara faced Mason.
“Grandpa wants to see her, that’s why we are transferring to the hospital, can you walk?” He replied to Kiara and asked Skyler without making eye contact with her.
Skyler bit her lips and nodded.
“That’s good, I’ll meet you outside then” he replied and walked out.
After he had left, Wendy faced Skyler.
“Are you two fighting?” She asked.
“Come on Wendy, learn how to stop poking your nose in people’s business” Kiara sighed.
“But it’s just that”
“Don’t argue Wendy, let’s help Skyler up” Ashely rolled her eyes and walked to Skyler’s bed.
After going through all the discharge process, they went out and met a Lamborghini waiting for them in the parking lot.
“Don’t tell me it’s yours” Wendy gasped.
“It’s for my husband” Skyler smiled and moved forward with her mom and Ashely, Wendy was still admiring when the horn sounded that made her run in as fast as she could.

DELGADOS’ PRIVATE HOSPITAL★
The place was really large, Ashely, Wendy and Kiara were surprised with the sight they were seeing.
“Let’s go in” Mason began moving forward, it was Ashely and Wendy that was helping Skyler walk but she excused herself from them.
“I can walk on my own” she muttered and Mason paused on walking, he used his side eye to look at her and stopped walking so she would move forward.
Skyler walked past him, she was about to fall but he caught her immediately.
“I remembered asking you if you can walk,” he frowned at her.
“I can’t walk, carry me” Skyler pouted and he gave her a hard look before lifting her up in a bridal style.
Ashely and Wendy were already pinching themselves with huge smiles on their faces as they walked behind them.
They got to the hospital and the receptionist passed a card to Mason, she didn’t bother saying anything because she already knew who they were.
Alvin explained to her that some people were coming in.
They got to the ward where Skyler would be staying and Mason gently dropped her on the bed,he was still not smiling at her.
“Mason” Skyler called when he was about to walk away and he turned back to look at her.
“I’m sorry, I mean it” she said with a pleading eye but he looked forward and left the ward.
Skyler sighed to herself and looked at the ceiling. ‘This is going to take time,’ she muttered.

DELGADOS’ MANSION★
The soup was done, Rosa was the one who packed it herself with a smile.
“How are you so happy with helping someone?” Emily asked in surprise. Throughout the process of cooking, Rosa has been doing everything with a happy smile, something she had never done before.
“I owe Skyler, she settled the dispute between me and my son, now Jacob is undergoing a therapist about his fear of blood” Rosa replied with a smile.
“Really? That’s an awesome thing for him to do, I’ll get changed, you can deliver the soup personally to Skyler” Emily smiled and left.
Rosa poured the soup in a flask and left the kitchen to change so they can all visit Skyler in the hospital. When she came back, she didn’t see the soup in the kitchen, it was with that old man.
“Let’s go, Skyler is waiting for us” he didn’t look at them as he worriedly left, making it the second time he was doing this to them.
Rosa looked shocked as she stared at the old man, she didn’t even know what to say.
“Don’t worry, you can actually pay your gratitude to Skyler without holding anything,” Emily said with a smile as she stood beside Rosa.
They entered the car that would drive them to the hospital without having any paparazzi to disturb them.
When they got in, the workers or securities didn’t bother questioning them as they knew who they were, they even greeted them.
The old man knocked on Skyler’s ward before slowly opening it and entertained. Wendy was dozing on the chair while Ashely was busy on her phone since Skyler was asleep and Kiara was watching her.
“Sky!”
Ashely looked up at the voice she heard and her phone fell from her hand, the door opened even more and the Delgados’ family stepped in.
“Wendy, Wendy, am I imagining things again? I’m seeing the Delgados’ family here” Ashely began waking Wendy up.
“No you’re not imagining things” Ivy replied with a smile.
Wendy slowly opened her eyes, she looked at Ashley in anger and Ashely pointed ahead of her, Wendy looked forward, the people standing there waved at her and she fell from her chair.
“Grandpa, you guys are here, let’s not fill that ward, can some people step out?” Mason suddenly walked in.
“Fine, I’ll wait outside” Carson rolled his eyes and walked out.
The others followed him, Mason gave Ashely and Wendy a look before they immediately stood up and ran out.
Mason then stepped out.
“Sky” grandpa Mario came to sit on the edge of her bed, he dropped the soup on the table beside her.
“I was so worried to see you passed out on stage but I’m very happy to hear that you’re pregnant? How are you feeling now? I made you some soup” he smiled at her.
“Thank you grandpa” Skyler bit her lips as she thought of something. She thought it would be best to tell grandpa of everything now before he finds out in a bad way.
“I’m sorry grandpa” she said with a bit of teary eyes.
“Why are you apologizing?” He asked.
“I didn’t tell anyone I was pregnant because I didn’t want you guys to stop me from being a part of the sales party. I was a really selfish grandpa” she burst out in tears.
Kiara who was beside her only rubbed her shoulders.
Grandpa Mario sighed.
“You were being selfish but at least you came clean,” he said softly.
“But what if something had happened to the baby?” she stared at him with red eyes.
“At least nothing happened to the baby, don’t worry Sky, I can never get mad at you” grandpa Mario smiled at her.
Skyler raised herself up so she could hug him. How could she or anyone not love this old man.
She pulled away and fumbled with her fingers a little.
“Mason is angry with me” she muttered.
“Don’t worry about him, give him a little time and he will come around” he replied and she nodded her head.
Grandpa Mario then stood up and faced Kiara.
“You are her mother, if this had not happened to Skyler today then we would have invited you over for dinner yesterday” he said to her.
“It’s okay” Kiara only smiled at him.
Outside the ward, Ashely and Wendy kept looking around like they were seeing ghosts. They were sitting in the mist of famous people and most importantly, they were in the same room with the hidden billionaire.
He was sitting alone, lost in his own thoughts.
“So are you guys like Skyler’s sister?” Ivy decided to start a conversation.
“We are her close friends,” Ashely replied.
“And I’m a huge fan of you and Edna, I didn’t know you guys would be here if not I could have gotten a pen” Wendy suddenly said.
“I don’t mind going out to get a pen right now” Ashely said and Ivy chuckled.
“At least I can get a picture” Wendy brought her phone.
“Sure” Ivy smiled and took pictures with them while Edna didn’t bother standing to meet anyone.
“Edna, take pictures with your fans,” Emily whispered to her.
“But I’m ugly, I didn’t do any make up,” Edna replied.
“You will never look ugly to me” Ashely smiled at her.
“Sweet but still no pictures until I’m in my rich versaci” Edna insisted and no one said anything again.
Everywhere was quiet until Wendy decided to talk again.
“Sorry but is that guy over there Mason Delgado?” She suddenly asked and everyone turned to look at her including Mason himself.
She pressed her lips together before looking elsewhere. Everyone greeted Skyler and she spent some more time in the hospital before she finally got better and went back to the mansion.

DELGADOS’ MANSION ★
The family just finished having their dinner before everyone went to bed. The running tap of the shower was heard as Mason was in the bathroom.
Skyler just finished dressing up in her nighties, she made sure it was going to reveal too much. She wanted to settle things with Mason today, they haven’t talked for two days and she felt like dieing.
When she was done, she sat on the bed and crossed her legs with a kind of pose as she waited for him to come out.
Mason stepped out and she cleared her throat but Mason walked past her like he didn’t see her. He went to his wardrobe and grabbed his joggers then pulled his towel down to put on the joggers.
Skyler slapped her eyes closed immediately but she shook her head. She wanted to seduce him but she was too shy to look at his own body.
She slowly opened her eyes and Mason was done dressing. He didn’t look at her as he went to lay down, facing the other side.
Skyler pressed her lips together and rolled over to his side, she hugged him from behind and rested her head on his back.
“Why don’t you wanna talk to me? It’s been two days, are we really gonna stay like this?” She said softly but no reply from Mason.
“I admit I was selfish, I really wanted to take part in that sales competition, I was gonna tell you after, I knew I shouldn’t have can’t do such a big thing from you but I really am sorry please” she snuggled closer to him.
Mason still didn’t say anything and Skyler angrily turned him over. His eyes were open and his face was blank.
“You can’t be serious now Mason, I already feel bad, why are you making me feel worse!!” She stared at with teary eyes but he didn’t reply.
“Mason!!” She called.
“Can you stop Skyler!! Give me a break would you!!” He finally spoke in a hard tone
This would be the first time Mason would be raising his voice at her even though it was just a little. She looked at him blinking repeatedly not knowing what to say.
He sighed.
“I’m not angry at you, I’m just angry at myself. I mean I should have noticed something was up with you but I didn’t, come to think of it, I’m not even a good husband” his voice held a lot of disappointment as he muttered.
