GARDEN*
Vanilla watched Ryan from a little distance. She couldn’t see her face. He was backing her.
She couldn’t even imagine how his face would look like now….she couldn’t also guess what was running through his mind but one thing says a lot that he was passing through pain at that moment
Vanilla sighed deeply. She was even scared of going to him
What if he pushes her away?
What if he ends their friendship again?
What if?!..
Those thoughts ran through her mind. Right now she couldn’t even stop the tears that fell off from her eyes
The pains she was in were too much
The memories of Flora kept on flooding in
“I know I was jealous and foolish but, I never….I never wished her dead. I wish you could just…believe me”Vanilla said rubbing her eyes
She turned to leave but halt on her movement when she heard Ryan’s voice
“Vanilla?” He called.
She slowly faced him. He wasn’t crying but…he had an expressionless look on his face
Now standing in front of her, Ryan hugged her….resting his head on her shoulder
Vanilla’s face was full of surprise. At first, she didn’t know how to react but she couldn’t stop her hand from patting his head
“Ryan I….”
“I believe you! I believe what ever you say. I know you didn’t do it” Ryan cut in causing Vanilla to widen her eyes
“I….I just want us to stay in this position for few minutes” he said again and Vanilla smiled amidst tears

BACK TO THE CLASSROOM***
The students paired in various group was finally displayed. While some were happy, others had frowns on their faces
Emerald and Hilda!
Beauty and Dylan!
Amour and Dominic!
Sugar and Kaden!
Range and Camilla!
Rover and Astoria!
Few minutes later, Hilda walked into the class with smiles on her face. She went straight to Emerald
“Finally! I guess this is what fate wants, for us to be together!”she smiled
Emerald eyed her from head to toe, hissed and matched out of the class
Just everything was pissing him off.
First it was pairing him and Hilda but the one that pained him the most was that of Beauty
“Why the Füçk will he pair her together with him? It’s crazy” he complained
Rover who was beside him smiled knowingly
“I guess they fit each other” Rover replied
“What? I can’t believe you will say that. I mean, mr Coldstone would have gotten more handsome guy for her”
“Why are you overreacting?”
“Who told you I’m overreacting?”
“Because you’re taking the route to mr Coldstone’s office”Rover answered
“Of course! As you can see. Or am I banned from entering his office?” Emerald hissed
“I can sense you…..”
“Wanna die?”Emerald cut in
Rover nod negatively suppressing his laughter. Emerald eyed him before increasing his pace

MR COLDSTONE’S OFFICE*
“I can’t change the names. It has been displayed already” came mr Coldstone’s reply
“Seriously?” Emerald scoffed
“Yes! Seriously!” Mr Coldstone replied
Emerald glared! He glared backed
They both kept glaring at each other
“How dare you glare at your teacher?”
“How dare you glare at the owner of this school?”Emerald replied sternly
“I’m sorry sir”
“Get your resignation letter ready to avoid disgrace. I can see you’re doing more than your capability these days” Emerald uttered. He walked out
Mr Coldstone sat back on his chair. He ruffled his hair.
At this moment, he knew he f**led up big time.

“Just why? Why will she be paired with him?”camilla cried
“It’s just a project and nothing else” Hilda said trying to calm her down
“You’re happy because you were paired with him. I know you ain’t bothered about me” Camilla yanked her hands off
“Camilla…..” Hilda called but she ran out
Hilda squatted. She smiled checking out herself
“Who cares?” She mumbled

DISMISSED HOUR*
“Dylan, can you let go of me right now?”Beauty sighed
Ever since they were paired, he hasn’t let her go out of his sight
“Sorry if I’m bothering you but, I can’t help it” Dylan replied
“But….my friends will be waiting” Beauty sighed out. Just then, she looked up and saw Pepper
“I guess they will be waiting” Beauty said again and Dylan frowned
“Are you…avoiding me?” He asked
“No! Why?!”
“It seem like you are” he said
Slowly, she was able to slip her hand of his but….that didn’t end there as someone from behind joined it back
They both turned around only to see Kaden, smiling
“What?” Dylan asked
“Just here to inform you that you don’t need to think about your friends. They might be busy” Kaden said
“Wh….what?”Beauty stuttered trying to understand what he was trying to say
“I mean that you should stick to your boyfriend for now. Bye, sugar will be waiting!” He ran off
“Boyfriend?!”Beauty repeated that part and faced Dylan who had a huge smile on his face
“What?”she asked him
“It won’t be a bad idea if you finally become my girlfriend” Dylan replied and she scoffed but then, replaced it with a smile
“Now that your friends are….”
“What do you want to say to me?”Beauty asked
Dylan didn’t utter a word for sometime, he was just staring at her which made her uncomfortable
“What?”she asked nervously
“Isn’t here to open?” He asked as if shyly
“Open? Are you shy to say what you have on your mind?”Beauty mocked and he frowned deeply
“I like you” Dylan finally blurted Which caused Beauty to widen her eyes. She quickly replaced it with a loud laughter leaving Dylan confuse
“What are you trying to say? Are you drunk? You’re going hyper” she continue laughing
“Do you think I’m joking? Ever since I got close to you, I can’t stop thinking about you. Like, I’m in love with you. Let’s just forget that I said I like you. Right now, I love you and I can’t just stop that feelings. I just……”
“Don’t love me Dylan”Beauty cut him short
Dylan frowned. The hurtful look flushed on his face was very obvious
“Why?!”
“Because I love….never mind”
“Beauty i…”Dylan paused. His voice was already cracked. This was going to be the second time he’d get rejected and it was freaking him out
“I will….hurt you because I cannot reciprocate that feeling back” Beauty replied.
She looked around. Right now, few students were around since they were at the hallway
She took her hand off his and made to leave but Dylan grabbed her back. He held her by her waist and without wasting much time, his lip met with hers
