d.. do you still like him?” he asked as rehana turned to him in a snap
“What? Like who?” She asked
“You know who i’m talking about, Jake” he said as rehana only stared at him
“Oh.. I’m so sorry for asking, don’t answer if you don’t want…”
“I know no one like Jake,” she cut him off as joron turned fully to her
” i had mistake him for someone else, i do thought he was the person he wasn’t after all, i was all on an illusion all along” rehana said remembering the awful things jake did to her, the worst part of it was that he do allowed her to be humiliated in such an illicit manner, she never thought of him to be this cruel even though he proved to be heartless, not to this extent, he watched silently as she was wrongly accused, and all he could do was to walk away,
She had beared up with him, all because her heart told her that he was gonna change someday, and that he was just lonely, but then reality stroke on her the hard way and this was just the limit of it all, wh@tëver feelings that were remaining of jake for her were nothing other than hatred and dismay, she even h@tëd herself more for believing he was the right guy for her
Yes, she just realized it that she might have somehow fallen for him, she felt weak whenever she was around him and all she wanted was for him to take care of her and protect her, she was scared of letting off her feelings for him, but was going to tell him how she felt about him when the time was right, but then she was all delusional, her hopes and dream were all a night dream that was gonna fade off when she woke up, and this was it, she was done and done forever
” how foolish i was to think he was gonna change a bit” rehana said as her eyes welled up, but then she tried to concern the tears
” i know how bad you must be feeling now, after trusting him so much and then he just broke your trust” joron said, as he came closer and slowly put his hands across her shoulders
” well I’m okay alright, ” she said and put on a smile
“And besides who told you i liked him” rehana asked,
” er.. Errrm.. Like..like a friend” he stuttered
” well I’m okay now, and i prefer having an enemy than have someone like him as a friend” rehana said, and stood up from the bed leaving joron’s hands hanging on the air as he slowly dropped them down, and smiled,
This was the happiest news of his life, this was his biggest dream, and he was ready to sacrifice anything just to hear her say this words, and without him even doing a thing, his dream came true,
He saw this as the biggest miracle of his life, he so much felt like getting to his feet and dance so hard, and scream out his voice, he wanted to hug her from behind and plant so much kisses on her lips,
And saying to her
“I love you so so much” he thought as he smiled more
” fate really wanted us to be together, my love” he said inwardly
” i think you made the right decision” he said to her

Jake had being in his room, trying so hard to study but it was as though it was an impossibility for him to do that, not that the projects or assignment were that difficult for him to solve but then his mind was distracted,
He just couldn’t concentrate on his work, his mind was on one person, and that was rehana
He felt so much guilt in him, no matter how much he tried to stop it he just couldn’t, he felt responsible for wh@tëver state it is that she was,
He wished he knew what hospital she was admitted to then he wouldn’t waste any fu*king time to go see how she was doing
* it was all your fault only you are to be blame for what ever happens to her* the voice spoke in his head,
He didn’t know what was wrong with him but he felt that for the first time the annoying voice was right, he was really responsible for it all, he was a beast after all
* she saved you but then you neglected her when she wanted you the most* the voice said again more cleared and bolder this time, as his heart begun pounding faster,
He so much wanted to see her again, only then will he be at rest, but then what if something worst had Happened to her,
His head begun hurting as he felt so much heat

*no jake don’t listen to him follow your heart* the other voice cut in

The two voices kept on blabbering and arguing in his head as the heat became worst, he felt his eyes changing color again as his hands turned red, this time on it begun blazing out fire, his hairs had turned red too, as his nails turned to claws…
…Next Day…
Rehana dressed up for school as always, as she moved downstairs to her parents
“Bye mom, bye dad” she said giving them a peck,
“Alright dear, love you” her mom said
“Always take good care of yourself okay?” Her father said as she nodded
Her parents never knew of what had transpired the other day at school since joron made sure too keep it a secret

“Simple, i will tell them that i was busy training you to be better in driving” joron said
” hmm such a clever plan….but then you will still get scolded” rehana reminded
“Ohh that i could sure risk it for you” joron said
” really?” She asked as he nodded
“Thank you so so much” she said and hugged him as joron thought of putting his hands around her waist but then she do already disengage from the hug…

” and make sure not to stay out late again, especially you joron make sure my daughter is back on time, i wouldn’t take driving lessons for an excuse either” mr octavier said to joron who stood at a corner
“Yea sir, i promise not to repeat the mistake ever again” he said,
“Alright make sure she’s safe” mr octavier said as they both left
” awwn his such a nice boy” Kimberly complimented
“Hmm”
” i wish my daughter was gonna end up with someone as good as him” Kimberly said as octavier sent her a sharp glance
“My daughter is ending up with no one, not until she is independent and matured enough to make the right decision for herself ” he corrected and walked away…

Jake parked his car as he stepped down
Just then joron’s car drove in and parked beside his car, as rehana and joron came out,
Jake locked his car and turn only to catch a glimpse of joron opening the front door for rehana to step out….
