“Can I kiss you???” He asked in a solemn voice.
His question danced in the air for some minutes as they maintained eye contacts staring at each other deeply.
A lot of unspoken words in their minds and they wanted to talk but their emotions were conveyed through their eyes.
Neil began leaning in and Madison felt an adrenaline rush as goosebumps began popping out on her skin when Neil crashed his lips on hers.
He moved in a slow and steady move savouring the vanilla taste of her lips. Their lips moved in sync and same as their breath.
Neil gave her lips a little bite and she gasped. He slid his tongue in as their lips rolled together in their mouth.
It was a slow, steady and passionate action. They wanted to taste every inch of their mouths and they were slowly achieving that.
The kiss was already making her breathless and Neil broke the kiss while their mouths made a pop sound.
They rested their foreheads on each other while Madison was panting.
“Have you ever tried swimming here before” Neil asked but Madison shook her head negatively.
“I’ve never really thought of that” She replied.
“Then now that I thought about it. Why don’t we swim together. Let our first memories of being together start from here” He said immediately they jumped into the lake giggling, having fun.

“You have to stop following me around like a pest. It sucks” Amanda stopped turning to face Reed.
“Not until you agree to talk to me. We’ve got to settle our differences” Reed said going to stand at her front.
“Fine. You can say the rubbish you want me to hear. I’m all ears” Amanda said hands at akimbo.
“Not with this attitude of yours. You can’t keep hating me forever for a broken relationship” Reed said moving forward but she moved back stretching forth her hands.
“Don’t come closer. You can say wh@tëver you want to say from there and FYI I had long forgotten about you” She rolled her eyes.
“That doesn’t look so to me. I can still see those glint in your eyes. I don’t know what they told you back then but I never cheated on you” Reed said sincerely.
“You’re a liar. A bloody Füçking liar. I saw it all so no amount of words would make me believe you. I saw you kiss her and she had to rub it in my face but you didn’t do anything” Amanda said.
“What do you expect me to say? I told you I never had anything to do with her but you believed someone else over your boyfriend. You have to stop seeing me as a cheat” Reed said but she shook her head her eyes already getting teary.
“I don’t wanna remember about the past so you can go to her , Amelia. She’s never gonna listen to me anyways so just leave me alone” She said. “My opinion never mattered ” She whispered.
She turned her back trying to walk away from him but he held her wrist before dragging her to himself and she gasped as her back hit his chest.
“Your opinion matters and I am ready to do anything for you to forgive me for being a cheating boyfriend” He whispered into her ears as it sent a sparkling sensation round her whole body.
In that position, he hugged her from behind and she didn’t resist at all. Amelia who was about to pass that route saw them then she turned going away.

“Where has that madman being since morning” Sean came into the living room with a bowl of cornflakes and milk.
“Who are you talking about?” Donovan asked looking up from his phone.
“Ahhhhh! Are you a ghost when did you get there?” Sean eyes widened as he exclaimed.
Donovan rolled his eyes before replying, “How would you know when you’re so engrossed in what you’re eating. Sometimes I wonder if you’re still a baby”
“I’m not a baby and I am more mature than you think” Sean said grinning.
“Hmmm. Matured indeed” Donovan teased.
“You don’t believe. I am better than you and just like your big brother so you better respect me” Sean said and jumped on him.
“Hey Mr Maturity get off me and go look for a girlfriend who you would tell to respect you not me” Donovan said and tried to get him away from his body but he stick to him like a leech.
“We both don’t have girlfriends so we just cuddle and drown in our sorrow together” Sean said wrapping his hands on his neck.
“Sean get off me. You’re suffocating me” Donovan said in a hoarse voice and Sean grumbled before releasing him and taking Back his bowl of cornflakes.
“I guess this is the only thing I need. You’re useless, Hmph!” He stomped his foot and went back to the room.
Donovan heard the doorbell ring after Sean left and he stood up going to open the door.
As he opened the door he met the last person he ever expected standing there, Pearl.
“Are you gonna let me in or I would keep standing out here forever” She smiled a little.
Donovan cleared his throat before paving way for her to come in. Donovan felt so guilty when he saw her there.
She looked a little skinny and pale. Her eyes had gone inside and were puffy. He had always called the caretaker and she would tell him that she always refused to eat and even if she eat, it would be only a little.
He knew it was all because of him that was why he couldn’t come to face her. It would make him feel more guilty.
“I thought that even if I called you wouldn’t want to hear me out so I came to you. So much for being a coward” Pearl said.
“Why haven’t you being eating well. Yunno it’s bad for your health” Donovan said diverting thet topic and she rolled her eyes.
“I’m not going to eat till you decide to brace up and stop being a coward. I don’t you I don’t see anything bad in us being lovers so why do you keep rejecting me” She asked yelling.
“It’s not right Pearl. We can’t get attached to each other for pete sake we’re twins and this can’t happen between us” He said but she ignored him coming over to seat on his laps.
“And you think I care”
“Pearl…..” He said but it wore like he was pleading while calling her name.
“Shush!!!” She placed a thumb on his lips and then dropped the hand down before smashing her lips on his.
Their bodies were wet and their clothes were soaked already but they were giggling and playing like little kids.
“I think we have to go now before it gets cold and you might get a cold” Neil said wrapping his hands around her and she chuckled.
“You look so cute acting concerned about me so I would do as you wish” She said and they both got out of the water.
They both Walked to where their car was parked and when they got in. They found some spare clothes to change into.
Madison ignite the engine and they drove out going back home but during the right they would smile at each other.
They got back to the mansion but everywhere was silent. It was like no one was around.
Then a maid came to them panting, “it’s a good thing you both arrived just in time” And Madison raised a brow.
“Young Master I think your Mum had been rushed to the hospital. She slumped in her room” She said and instantly they both rushed back to the car and speedily Neil drove out of the mansion going to the family private hospital.
Few minutes after the rough drive they arrived and they got down going into the hospital in a rush.
“Lora Armstrong. Her ward right now” He said and the nurse at the desk gave him direction.
Madison have never seen so worried. She was behind him but she knew that Lora was a great mother but she suspected that lately the woman’s actions has been suspicious.
They got to the ward where she was admitted and saw Anastasia pacing around outside.
“Big Bro you’re here. Good thing” Anastasia heaved.
“What happened to mom?” He asked immediately.
“The doctor said that Mom was poisoned and she might not make it”
