I watched myself in the mirror caressing my gorgeous body with my hands.
The exquisite dress, glittering from red and gold really gave me the touch of an empress look.
The gown was accurately clutched around my body, the off- shoulder mermaid gown felt so luxurious as i lay my hands on it
Of course it was luxurious, i am now a woman who’s wardrobe could buy a whole country.
Childbirth did great on my body, i now look a bit plumpy than the usual me, my hips are a big wider and my B@@bs definitely did some upgrading.
I did a quick check to be sure my makeup were perfectly done and indeed i have improved in making myself up: my lips were painted in red, giving me the seductive look.
I smiled in satisfaction. “What a beauty you’ve grown into, Valerie.”
I praised myself before reaching for my box where i normally put the different types of contact lens i love to wear; i picked out a green contact lens and fixed it properly in my eyes.
You are good to go Acacia. I doubt any man would be able to take their eyes off from you.
Amaria my bodyguard compliment with a smirk; “she does this all the time” making sure she compliment my look is like her daily routine.

I scoffed at her ignorant, she truly knows know nothing about heels even after being with me for eight years.

I shook my head and resumed dressing and in no time i was done.
It’s time to throw them off their feet, they would never believe this beautiful creature to be Valerie.
At times i look at myself hoping to find trace of the old me but found non, i believe i am different person now, the bitterness i felt many years ago has been replaced now all i want is ‘justice’
I will deal with them in the hidden and at the same time use the police to get rid of them.

They arrived at where the event was taking place. A grand ballroom has been set up, the deco magnificently set up could tell one the importance of the party.
The chandelier dangling from the ceiling gave the room an even bright mood.
Many round tables were dotted round the hall decorated tastefully with a crystal bottle of champagne to toast the night.
Acacia walked in, glancing at the grand room in front of her; it was neatly decorated, orderly decorated, she must confess they did beat her expectations.
What caught her eyes more were the women dressed in jewelries, earrings, an tiaras worth millionaires of dollars.
She smiled caressing her diamond necklace worn gracefully on her neatly shaped neck.
Her necklaces alone was worth three hundred billion dollars, knew she was the finest of the them all, ‘just like snow white.’
Her eyes scanned the room as she made an entrance making her present known, all eyes were averted to her.
Women and men whispering to themselves as she graced through the hall.
Harold! The acting CEO of her company approached her with a grin, he stretched out his hand to her in which she took.

I must confess you look breathtaking tonight.
Hmm; she hummed, i always look “breathtaking Harold.”
She used her eyes to do a search the room for the most important visitors of the night. “The Avignon family.”
Soon enough an announcement was made to introduce Acacia as the new CEO everyone has been anticipating to meet.
An applause was made when she was done giving her speech.
Everyone flood towards to send their warm welcome. She made sure to give out her sweetest smile all throughout the night

Hello Harold is such a pleasure meeting you once again. Her eyes slowly narrowed itself towards the gorgeous lady in front of her, truly she’s as beautiful as they say she is.
I believe you should be Acacia, the new CEO we have been hearing a lot about you for the past few years.

Giselle floundered for words but quickly regained consciousness.

She feign a wide smile. You are right i do have a husband but he isn’t here at the moment, am sure he is caught up in some work an that’s why i am here to represent him and the company.

“I believe so Acacia. ” She sheered round as she felt a soft hand on her shoulders.

She pulled the woman standing beside her in for a hug.

“Wow, it’s such an honour meeting you.”
Acacia arched her brows, on seeing Blair once again, her presence brought her to a bit of confused state.
Blair was dressed in a red velvet gown, she seem to have gained some weight.
But why was Blair acting all familiar with Giselle? Was there something she’s missing here or what?
She tried her possible best not to show any atom of shock, she couldn’t afford that.
By this time she sort the presence of Harold but it turned out he left them to discuss properly.
“Where is Etienne?” Giselle asked glancing from side to side.
I believe he is supposed to be here with us, he was able to convince Corentin to be here.
Blair explained glancing briefly at her phone.
Those names did a lot to her mental state, it took her so much not to have reacted in anyway.
A part of her pleaded to run out and receive some air but the bigger part of her wanted to stay back to see Etienne and her handsome son: these two have suffered a great deal all because of her.
She felt her eyes feeling teary but fought back the urge to cry out.
Another part of her told her who Blair was to Etienne but she kicked it aside.
And there they were… Etienne, and a very fine young man whom she recognized due to the fact that she has kept an eyes on him for so long.
They bounced towards them dressed in fine tuxedo; her heart beat increased in a rapid degree as they drew closer.
“Do not show any emotion, do not show any emotion” she kept on repeating it to herself.
Etienne’s face formed into a frown when he noticed the presence of Giselle, he tried his possible best to hold back his feelings so he won’t over react due to the fact that this meeting was packed with prominent men and women.
He honestly never planned on showing up, all thanks to Blair he made an appearance
Her eyes slowly rolled her eyes from Etienne to Corentin and it continued this way.
The sadness in Corentin’s eyes has the ability to break one’s heart, she is his mother after all and seeing him this way breaks her so much more than she had expected.
Giselle was also very overwhelmed by their presence, she has missed her family so much that a part of her ache each an ever time she thinks about them.
Mind my manners Acacia, please allow me to introduce my family to you, you have Blair so do meet her husband, my son Etienne and my grand son Corentin.
Corentin snorted at the word “my grandson!”
You deserve an award for best female actress Mrs Giselle; he retorted with a frown.
Corentin!! Blair warned.
The whole act in front of appeared like a movie, of course what did she expect?
Etienne is married now and his happiness is enough for her, however why does it has to be Blair, Blair of all people?
Her head spined so hard, the more she tried to calm down the more her vision became blurry.
She took in a deep breath, one deep enough to catch up her nerves, after successfully getting hold of herself she then let forth a broad smile.
Nice to meet you all.
Is such an honour to meet your lovely family Giselle, although am afraid i have other meeting to attend to.
But i will love to do this again, to get to know your family while you know mine.
Giselle face lightened up.
Is that so? How about dinner at my house tomorrow?

She stretched her hand to Corentin who hesitated a bit before taking her hand.

He said staring into her green eyes.
The grip he has on her hand right now feels so familiar, like he has held this hand before, the feeling he felt at the minute shut his brain completely.
He gulped down hard as she pulled her hand off his grip.
Why don’t you tell me you have a crush on me, instead of holding on to my hand that long.
She cracked a joke that everyone laughed to, well… everyone except Corentin and Etienne: strangely the feeling with this new woman in question was off, but why?
