I drove down the dark, silent and breezy street feeling so exhausted
I sighed deeply driving slowly due to my tiredness
The work in the company is just much and tiring this days
I own the largest entertainment industry here in Italy
I increased my speed but I failed to notice a lady about to cross the road
I stepped on the break but it was too late
The car hit the lady and she flew to the other side of the road
The tiredness suddenly cleared off my face as I alighted the car
I walked over to her and I could see blood oozing out of her head
I swiped her into my arms running to the car
I placed her at the back sit, got in and drove off roughly with my eyes searching for a nearby hospital

Though it was d@mn stressful because she gives me hard knock at every given chance she has
She kept smiling till her phone rang and she ran upstairs like she was chased

I walked into the hospital hoping she is awake
I walked to her ward and met her eyes wide opened with bandage tied round her head
She tried sitting up but couldn’t
After I brought her to the hospital last night, the doctors made it clear she won’t be using her legs for sometime
Her legs were damaged, she will definitely still walk with it but it might take a long time
“Hi”. I said pulling out a chair
“Who are you?”. She asked and I smiled before sitting
“I’m sorry”. I said calmly and she gave me a confused look
“What I’m I doing here?”. She asked again
“You don’t remember?”. I replied with a question and she gave me a weird look
“I’m so sorry, I hit you with my car last night but trust me it wasn’t intentional”. I said and she kept looking at me
“That explains why I’m in the hospital and I can’t be able to walk again but here you are saying you’re sorry. Can sorry bring back my legs?”. She snapped
“You are still gonna use your legs but it will just take some time”. I replied softly
“What’s the difference? Will I not still be crippled till then? Jerks like you are meant to be cleared out of the way”. She said rolling her eyes

She is not alright
“If I was a jerk, I’d have left you there and pretend I didn’t do it. I already apologized and I don’t think it’s proper to call me a jerk when you barely know me. At least a common thank you isn’t difficult to say”. I said feeling a lot bit angry
“Then you should have just let me die”. She yelled and the doctor rushed in
“Young man, I think you should let her be for now. She isn’t meant to stress herself at least for now”. The doctor said and I walked out of the ward
I walked to my car and without giving it a second thought, I drove out of the hospital with the hope that she comes around and at least try to understand me

“So he can be this sensible”. I muttered and glanced through it again
I picked my tablet to work on mine when Goldin picture suddenly popped in head
I groaned lightly placing two fingers on my forehead

After the long stare, I regained my sense and walked back into my office
