I brought out my phone and Wendy’s call came in. You might be wondering who she is. She is my betrothed girlfriend.
I picked the call and she screamed my name so loud which made me flinch a little
“Wendy, why did you scream my name like that?”. I asked rolling my eyes line she could see me
“I’m sorry, I just can’t help it. I miss you”. She said
“Same here, so why will you be back?”. I asked
“In a month time. I can’t wait to see you”. She said
“Same here. I’ll talk to you later, bye”. I said and hanged up before she could say anything
The girl came into view with another girl wheeling a the trolley containing our order towards us. They finally got here and they both set the food on the table.
“Enjoy you meal”. She said and they walked away
I looked at her retreating figure and back to the food and I wasted no time in digging in
