Mara left her table and made for the cold storage room and met Xavier on her way
“Why are you going to the cold storage room? She asked.
“I should ask you that, did I need your permission to go anywhere? He asked
Mara was pissed “Can you at least be normal for once? You’re so livid! She spat and walked away angrily making Xavier smirk.
Mara got to the cold storage room, he also got there, both busy with their own bussines. Mara was looking for the zipper among the many materials and he… Well just looking around.
“What are you looking for? She asked
“I am here to inspect the cold storage room…and what have you been looking for?
Mara Explained her mission and then they both started the mission. It was getting late the zipper seems not to be among the lots of materials.
“I think I’ll have to leave here now, it’s getting cold, it seems we don’t have zippers anymore”Mara expressed exhaustingly. Xavier also yawned, it’s indeed getting late they’ve been there for almost an hour. “it’s unlike someone that called herself unbeatable fighting goddess to get exhausted”He said jokingly.
Mara didn’t say anything but smirked and made for the door but it was locked.
“Hey, Xavier come and check this”Mara called. “Did I need to broadcast it at a worldwide radio network that you shouldn’t call me by my name whenever we’re at the office? And besides I am older than you” Xavier corrected while coming to her side.
“If you’re that so concerned come and get this door opened” Mara replied as she was pulling the door with shaky hands, the temperature at the cold storage room was dropping it was -36…. It’s getting colder…. Xavier also came to the door and tried opening the door but It was locked.
Meanwhile, the security had forgotten that there were people still in the cold room so he locked the door since he’s closing for the day.
Mara’s teeth was knocking against each other, she’s a type of person that didn’t like cold places, she even h@tës harmattan periods so much that during those seasons she’ll sit down by the fire all day.
“Don’t you bring your phone? She asked
“I left it at the table and yours? He asked. Xavier was still able to get hold of himself because he was wearing thick suits.

“You can still nag and scold me in this situation? Aren’t you human? He asked. But Mara was not replying… She was getting dizzy at this rate, Xavier climbed some shelves so that he can increase the temperature but it was stuck so he switched to ringing the alarm bell
Mara crouched down low while still gnashing her teeth, “Will I die like this? Xavier tell me, will I die without even getting married? She asked with sad voice.
Xavier crouched beside her and gave her his coat, “You fool, who dies like this? I cant allow you to die, you’re not allowed to die without my permission? He said even though his hands are shaking.
Mara was not heading to his official jargons instead she broke into sobs. “My father left home after my birthday and didn’t return, My mother also got killed in an accident, will I also die like this? I haven’t have a chance to date, I haven’t had my first kiss, I haven’t visited the most beautiful places, I haven’t ride in the aeroplane, I haven’t received Valentine’s gift, I haven’t confessed to anyone at the amusement park…. At Mrs Astrid Klein’s Mansion, Celine, Rose and Mrs Astrid were in the middle of discussion. “Mara? What did you say he was brewing with Mara? Mrs Astrid asked.

“Forget about all that Rose, Xavier is probably doing all that because Mara was his staff, it doesn’t mean anything” Mrs Astrid Explained”
“But he shouted on me and said she’s the most important person to him! Rose argued.

Xavier who was also shaking slapped her head gently “nothing will happen to you, I am here” He said while feeling her head.
Mara removed the coat from her body and wrapped it sound him too, “It’s good that you sit here, we can keep each other warm”She said.
“You Dimwit, how will this coat keep us both warm? He asked jokingly while Mara smiled gently then touched his face with her her shaky hands.
“I don’t know i can ever touch your face, this freely, I have always wanted to know how soft your skin is, and I did so Today…. Will you please not give me any penalties? You have such a beautiful face”Mara murmured.
Xavier touched her hand…. And cuddle her more then patted her back gently “Only you…. Only you is allowed to touch me this freely, only you have touched me this freely, why you of all people?
