“We’ll help you! They chorused while Mara smiled…. But suddenly stamped her hand on the table.
“Hey guys! Are you all mad? How will you help me? I don’t even have a plan yet”
They looked at each other abd smiled, Mara was surprised, they even smiled easily as if they had already know what is happening?

Mara’s gang hid behind the flowers inspecting the compound. They had been there for almost 30 mins but Rose and Gordon is nowhere to be found.
Lisa, Angela and Dawn were the ones hiding. They got access to enter the house due to Celine’s help. And Mara entered the house under the pretence of seeing Mrs Astrid.
“Mara are you sure we are going to wait for them?? Angela asked through the radio intercom they shared.
“Sure we shall wait for them? ” She asked because Mrs Astrid is not showing up.
“Seems like they’re not going to come today why don’t we retreat? Dawn asked
“That’s a nice idea….
They informed Celine to call them if Rose and Gordon were spotted in the area and they went in their own way.
They went back to Flaky Town dejectedly.
“What else did you think we can do to make this people pay? Even if we secretly record thier conversations, what will that do for is? We can’t arrest her, she’s rich and Xavier won’t accept that” Dawn explained.
They all sighed, it seems like a dangerous adventure that they shouldn’t trespass but they can’t leave Mara to fight her battle alone.
That is when Angela remembered something “If we can’t arrest her, why don’t we make her pay in our own way? She killed Mara’s mum who is a resident of Flaky Town so we can assemble other guys to join us don’t you think?” She asked
“Wow; this is the most sainest word I have heard from you in a while, or did you shift your soul? How come you come up with such a brilliant idea? Charles joked.
“I also think that’s a good idea, we can sabotage her and make her pay and even test our Arora Plant system” Mara replied.
When they were still in secondary School, they were thought a topic in physics, that is related to optical illusion. There was a test practical where the teacher gave them a pair of goggle each and whenever they wear this, there will be a opticial illustration that will look real as if they were in another town.
Mara and her friends tried thier best and created another Google like that but haven’t tested it before…… This is a great chance for them to test it.
“I suggest, Mara ask what Xavier really want…. What if he doesn’t want his aunt to suffer? Lisa asked
“Then I need to check if Xavier wanted her imprisoned!
Mara left for her home.

“Xavier I am back” Mara said coming inside but met only Rose at home
“Where is Xavier? She asked her
“Did you put him in my custody? Isn’t he your housemate? She asked maliciously
“Can’t you just gain sense for once? A simple question…. You gave me 1 thousand answers, aren’t you the only one at home with him? Mara replied
“You can as well go and die……. You’ll be marrying Gordon Veriland soon so I should get used to be with him alone since he’s going to be mine soon” Rose bluffed.
Mara laughed “Hey Rosé, I heard that celebrities are always intelligent and honorable how come you’re so dumb and naive? I can’t believe you’re here pushing yourself against a man despite your beauty and position in the fashion world, don’t you ever sit down and think? Mara asked
Rose kept quiet for a while, she knew that what Mara said was true, but she can’t let Mara know that her words got her. “Whether I run after him or not is not your business, at Least I am not like you that’s willing to trade the man you love for your dead father and those dogs you call friends life”
“I can see that you that saved him have good intentions…. Anyway no need of talks with a nincompoop like you” Mara hissed and tried making her way upstairs
“Hey hey… Don’t go there yet, Xavier is in the bathroom” Lisa said
Mara erupted in a bout of laughter….
“Are you insane? My husband? I Should take permission from you before I meet my husband? I guess you don’t leave the house today that I am not around? Are you high? Mara asked loosing her cool.
“Your husband? Who says he’s your husband? Better snap out of your daydream and get your head together ad marry who you fit! Even if Xavier is to Marry anybody not you of all people” Rose sneered.
Mara was about to talk when Xavier’s voice was heard upstairs “She is now my Wife, and you can’t talk to my wife in such manners or else, leave my house!
Rose was shocked to the bone marrow, she didn’t expect such revelation from Xavier, her face suddenly became wet with tears but she pushed it in to avoid being bullied by Mara. Xavier returned inside and Mara took over…..
“When you’re done assimilating the news, lock the door, I have something important to discuss with my husband” Mara said to spite her more.
“Shout all you want but I assure you that, your husband will be mine soon and I’ll show you orphaned bastard what a real wife is not a gangster like you… You belong to the street and not to a matrimonial home” Rose jealously and sadly.
Mara can’t take her words anymore and slapped her… Rose too trying to act cool and impulsive tried to slap her back but Mara held her hands. she tried kicking her in the groin but Mara pushed her making her loose cool and fell on the chair in a miserable mess.
Mara let out a laughter “You deserve more, but I just showed you what a gangster wife can do…. Have you heard of a gangster boo? I am advising you! Step down from this game or else you’ll also suffer” Mara warned and headed upstairs
Rose quickly composed herself “you bastard I guess the only thing you can do is to slap people? She asked painfully
Mara replied while climbing the stairs “Did you want anything more? I can take any words of yours because I know you’re not in your right senses but I h@të it when you talk of my family with you dirty mouth and my matrimonial home at that! Leave before I come down again”
Rose grudgingly took her bag and left. Mara joined Xavier in his room…. She wasn’t aware that he was listening to all her parody since.
He smiled when she came in… “My matrimonial home, my husband! Ohh.., I never thought our Mara will care so much about her marriage”He mimicked making Mara blush.
“I am here to ask you something” she replied
“What’s that?
“Did you want me to arrest that woman or deal with her myself? She asked making Xavier dropped his giggles
Then he replied solemnly “Mara, she’s my only living family, I can’t trade her lie just like that, if we take her matters to the police, she’ll be sentenced to death because it will be a murder case” He explained
“Then what did you want me to about her? She’s not someone that can relent that easily…. And she’s not someone that needs pardon”
“I am also in an abyss of disarray, I don’t know what to do about her, maybe we should just let her be and you won’t go back to her and we’ll make our wedding official” Xavier suggested but Mara was adamant.
It’s true that Xavier can’t put his aunt in prison, if Mara was allowed to deal with her in her way, then the woman will know her limits but can still retaliate.
Mara didn’t say anything and made to leave when Xavier suddenly held her hand back and Said “Mara…. I trust you, but I can’t make her suffer just like that, for one day, she was my mother, I beg of you my wife, temper Justice with mercy…. Let me go talk to her and she’ll agree. If she later disagree, then I’ll release her to you”
Mara was touched with his words, she could feel his heart racing 360°, if she do anything out if line then she will be breaking Xavier’s heart.
Mara released herself and left the texted her friends “Guys, let’s lay low for now, let’s pause the operation, something came up”
★OFFICE★
Secretary Tan and others stood in front of the elevator waiting to enter, when Mara joined them.
The elevator opened, they entered then gossips begin “Hey did you see how handsome the president looks yesterday?
“He’s just like a Korean movie actor I also missed him up with Lee mi ho”
Mara smiled and said “He’s always handsome anyways”
They all faced her “What? You also saw how handsome he looked? Did you also had a crush on him?
“Hei, forget about that, he can never be yours, don’t you see how Rose looked? Then how did you expect him to fall for someone like you?
“She’s not the president’s type, but if I was in Rose’s shoes I’ll have made him sleep with me”
Mara snorted and overlooked them, the door clinged open, Xavier was revealed the ladies in the elevator giggled happily.
Xavier smiled at Mara, she also smiled back but no one knew who he was smiling at. As they got to their office another gossips started
“The president smiled, is that a dream or an illusion?
“I know he’s moved by my beauty that’s why he smiled that radiantly, it’s just a matter of time, he’ll be mine”
“Ohh that’s smiles melted my heart!
Secretary Tan came in…
“Miss Mara, the president is calling you to his office”
