Chapter 16&17
As evelyn ran out of the office, she bump into Haris. Her eyes widened in shock as she saw Haris standing in front of her.
She was shock to see him here and also, it was not even time for her to close.
“Hmmm are you okay? Why are you crying?” He ask worriedly moving closer to her and evelyn just fake a smile.
“Am fine,” she Said and Haris just rolled his eyes.
“So what are you doing here?” She ask in a surprised tone and Haris scoffs.
“Are you not happy that I am here?” Haris ask raising his eyebrows and evelyn chuckle nervously.
She look at martin office and sigh before turning to look at Haris.
She wouldn’t want martin to come out and see Haris here, else he would get jealous and try to hurt Haris and that she cannot take.
Haris is her brother, is like her saviour and she wouldn’t allow Martin hurt him.
“Come on let go to my office,” She said and drag his hand moving toward her office.
“So why are you here?” Evelyn ask as they got inside his office.
“When were you going to tell me that your boss is your ex?” He ask calmly but one could tell he was kinda dissapinted in her. Evelyn eyes widened surprised that he know already.
“How did you know about that?” She ask and Haris scoffs.
“I saw the picture and then I read your recent page on your diary,” Haris said and she scoffs.
“Why will you read my diary?” She yells angrily and Haris sigh.
“Am sorry, I was just tempted to read it,” Haris said and evelyn glared at him.
“Am sorry too, I didn’t want to bother you about it,” she said bending her head softly and Haris hug her immediately patting her by her back.
“Is okay, are you okay working here?” Haris ask as they distinguish from the hug and evelyn nodded giving him a tight smile.
“Am fine,” She said and Haris smile before kissing her forehead and the door open immediately revealing martin.
Evelyn eyes widened and quickly made Haris hide behind her back. Martin tilt his head to the sound staring at Haris who was hiding behind her back and he scoffs, staring at her with pure anger.
“What is he doing here?” He ask angrily and evelyn gulp down in fear.
“He came to see me,” Evelyn replied and martin huff staring at Haris with pure h@tëred.
“Hi,” Haris wave, shivering in fear. He know from the start he never liked her and that is because he is close to evelyn.
“Get out,” He said referring to Haris.
“Hey, you can’t just chase him out. He is here to see me,” Evelyn yells and martin glared angrily at him.
“And then he has the guts to kiss your forehead,”
“It was just a friendly kiss,” Haris said.
” Tell him to get the Fuçk out. Now, else I might do something you will h@të me for,” Martin said.
“Okay bestie is better I go,” Haris said looking at the scary man in front of him.
He was sure really scary and he knows he might do something terrible.
He smile and whispered in evelyn ear.
“I like him though, his possessiveness and all, this is the man you really need. You are too shy and stubborn and also try to stay away from men, he seem jealous,” Haris whispered in her ear.
Martin stare at Haris in h@tëred as he walk out of the room and Haris just chuckled.
Evelyn tried to run after Haris but martin dragged her back.
“Let me Fuçking go,” she yells struggling to get out of his grip but martin didn’t let her go.
“I don’t like it when my lover run after a man,” Martin said and evelyn scoffs.
“Lover? Martin no matter how hard you try to win me over, I am never going to be your lover once again,” She yells at his face but a deveilshly smirk just form on his face.
“You know me too well evelyn. A man like me doesn’t loose. I get wh@tëver I want and you are not exception,” He said bodly more like he know that evelyn will be his.
Evelyn just stare at him, not knowing what to say.
“You are making me think maybe you are obsessed over me?” Evelyn said slowly and the man Chuckle.
“Obsessed? Yeah I am obsessed over you. I can’t get you off my mind, I can’t stop thinking about, you are like a drug I am addicted to and that is because I love you,” He said looking into evelyn eyes.
Everywhere was silent, quiet and only their sound of their heart beat could be heard. It felt like there were in their world, staring into each other eyes, admiring each other, wishing to have each other, craving for each other, Longing for each other soul.
“Fuçking let go of me,” Evelyn broke the silence and push him off, glaring deadly at him.
“I stand by my world martin, I will never be your lover,” She hiss and tried to walk away but he held her hand again.
“I told you evelyn, I get wh@tëver I want. You wanna remember how I tamed you to date me in the first place? The steps I took in making sure you were mine,” He said smirking and evelyn sigh.
(Flash back)
She smile staring at the giantic building in front of her. Finally she is going to be in university, she had always dreamed of being here and she just can’t stop smiling.
“Evelyn,” She turn around only to see her father with her luggage in his hand.
“Dad,” Evelyn called and they hug each other lightly.
“Be of grate behavior and made us proud,” Mr Jackson said and she just smile before taking her luggage from her father.
There were many people also entering the school with their luggage which mean they were fresh students just like her.
“Bye dad,” She waved as her dad drove out of the building.
She sigh and took the school map out of her bag.
“d@mn, this school is d@mn big,” She taught looking around.
“Hmmm I think I will have to meet the professor……but d@mn I don’t even understand the Fuçking map,” She said and almost immediately she felt someone touch her shoulder. She turn around only to see a girl smiling at her.
“Hey,” Evelyn said with a polite smile.
“I am Lillian, it seem you are lost but I can show you around,” She said and evelyn just nodded.
