She turn slowly to look at martin who wouldn’t even stare at her.
“Martin you really are serious about us dating?” She ask. Not because she was doubting but she was kinda surprised to see he didn’t even say anything. She could remember few days ago he would get jealous and snatch the phone.
“Am not lying when I said I want you to be mine forever,” He replied turning slowly to look at her, but she quickly look away due to her red cheek.
Butterflies were dancing in her stomach. Just hearing his reply, you could tell he was sincere.
“Hmmm I think I will drop Ava at home,” She said and the little one frown grabbing hold of martin shirt.
“No…I want to stay with uncle martin,” She pouted her lips, hugging him tightly and martin chuckle before wrapping his hand around her.
“You can’t stay with us. We are going to be busy at work,”
“She is coming with me not you,” Martin said patting the little one hair who squeale happily.
“Are you serious?” Evelyn ask but martin just ignore her.

It was closing time already and so evelyn was ready to leave. She walk into martin office only to see Ava laying on his chest sleeping peacefully and ava smile.
Having her here was not stressful though, as she wouldn’t stop pressing martin phone. He didn’t even get to use his phone today
“Come here ava,” she stretch forth her hand trying to take he away from martin but the little one wouldn’t allow her.
“No. I want to stay with Martin,” She said hugging martin tightly.
He just feel so happy.
“Actually there will be no need, I am spending a night with you guys also,” He said and evelyn eyes widened.
“What the Fuçk are you saying martin?”
“I am serious, you guys are having a sleepover tonight so I wanna be among,” He said seriously.
“Yes. I like that,” Ava said and evelyn just sigh while martin smirk.

Haris. Sat down on the couch looking at the movie. He heard the sound of car horn and he smile knowing fully well martin had dropped her but it was more than that.
The door open revealing the three, especially the younger one who was clinging onto martin. Haris eyes widened when he saw him and he stare at him confuse.
He turn to look at the wall clock which was 8: 30 and then look at them.
“Welcome bestie,” He said still staring at Martin who rolled his eyes.
“He is having a sleepover too, all thanks to Ava,” She glare at martin amd walk towards the kitchen.
Martin sat down slowly on the couch while the other move to the other.
He was not scared of him but he know he was dangerous.
“I know you are here because of me probably jealous that I am having a sleepover,” Haris said teasingly and martin glare at him.
“I think ava is already sleeping, Let me take her to her room,” he said trying to carry her but the younger one bursted into tears making martin glare angrily at him.
“What the Fuçk…when did this start? You are just 10 girl not 2,” He muttered to himself before sitting back on the couch.
Evelyn came back with a glass of water and handed it over to martin.
“Here,” she stretch the glass cup towards him which he took. Evelyn gently took the sleeping beauty from him and walk to the room leaving the two men.

The three adult sat on the couch looking at the movie.
“So this movie is all about a girl who got a job at her ex office and they can’t seem to let go of each other again,” Haris explained and evelyn just glare at him.
“It is just like I know he was coming,” He muttered to himself but evelyn heard him and then hit him on his head making him groan.
Martin just stare at them silently.
‘i am getting to like him,’ He taught staring at him
“Hmmm yeah you are right. I like the movie though,” Martin said shoving a Pop corn into his mouth and drink a juice and evelyn gulp down nervously.
“It is just like talking about us,” Martin whispered in her ear making her gulp down and she quickly stood up.
She really didn’t want to feel ackward around him.
“I will get more popcorn,” she said and rush towards the kitchen and martin chuckle.
He suddenly felt so happy that he came here, it is fun for him and he can’t just stop smiling.
“Do you really think you can pass the text and even if will you change after that?” Haris ask and martin sigh.
“You can’t change but you can change for her, calm down martin, I mean you are a man who get angry easily. I study people easily, I know what you are like and I can tell you 80% about my friend likes it, you just need to work on yourself,” Haris said and martin sigh.
It was really getting to him. He just wants Evelyn to be his.
“Come on man, talk to her,” Haris tap his shoulder and stood up.
“You got this, am feeling sleepy already” He yawn loudly and walk to the room
Almost immediately evelyn came out of the room only to see martin. She look around and she frown when she didn’t see Haris.
“Where is Haris,”
“He said he is feeling sleepy,”
Evelyn frown and tried to walk away but martin grab hold of her hand making the popcorn fall to the ground.
“I want to talk to you,”
“Martin if is about the movie forget it. If you don’t change I am never dating you,” She said and tried to walk away but martin wouldn’t allow her.
He grab her waist and drag her closer to hi. Their lips were few inches away and they seem to be lost in each other eyes.
“Evelyn I can’t just stop thinking about you, please just give me a chance,” He said pleadingly and evelyn sigh.
“I might pass the text but it will not change me just that five days…..but trust me Evelyn I am ready to change for you. Just give me some time.” He said softly but evelyn didn’t say anything and just kept staring at him.
“You have filled that special place in my heart evelyn and I just can’t wait for you to be mine. The sound of your laughter is like music to my ears. I can’t wait wait for you to be mine and I can’t wait to make more memories with you. You make me so happy just by being yourself. I just want to grow old with you evelyn, being with you feels so right. Hearing your voice brings so much joy to me. I just can’t get enough of you,”
“Martin……,” She called softly tears already flowing from her eyes but he interrupted him by placing his finger on her lips.
“Let me speak first eve,”
“I really night not be the perfect man you have always dreamt of but I am ready eve….. I am ready to be that perfect man for you. I can’t live without you. Being apart from you those years ago almost ruin my life. You mean the world to me evelyn, being with you trumps other plans,”
He remove the strand of hair from her face and kiss her tears away.
“When I hold you in my arms, I feel so lucky. I love being with you so much. I wish time could stand still when we are together. Seeing your smile is the best part of my day.” He said and evelyn couldn’t help but smile.
“Please eve,” he held her hand gently while evelyn couldn’t help but cry.
“Be mine forever eve, let get back together,” He said softly and evelyn laugh and hug him tightly.
“Yes martin, let get back together,” She said softly still hugging him.
He didn’t know how he find those sweet words but they were from his heart.
This moment is a moment to recall…..
