Martin was seen typing on his computer when the door open and evelyn walk in with a coffee in her hand.
“Hey! I brought coffee for you,” She drop the coffee on the table and martin just nodded still typing on his laptop.
Evelyn sigh, folding with her fingers nervously and martin noticed that. He raised his head slowly to meet with her.
“Anything?” He ask softly and evelyn gulp down. One could tell she was scared and it really make martin annoy.
He really h@tës it now, when evelyn is scared of him.
“Hmmm doctor celeb said my mum request to see me so I will want to close early from work today,” She said and martin.
he can’t believe that was the reason she is scared. She really wouldn’t deny her of visiting her mother who he has also regarded as his mother too.
“Hmmm okay I will come …..”
“No…no I want to go alone,” Evelyn cut him off and he scoff staring at her suspiciously. A hint of lie could be shown on her face with the way she was avoiding his gaze.
“Seriously eve, I wanna come with you,”
“Don’t worry martin, I can go alone,” She said faking a smile and martin scoffs.
“I never ask for your permission. I am coming with you,” He replied, his voice showing he was d@mn serious and evelyn sigh. She stare at him before walking out of the office.
She really didn’t want to visit her mother, she wanted to use the opportunity to visit her father and she didn’t want martin to know about it.
She sigh as she walk into her office only to see Elizabeth with her colleges alongside with her.
“Hey lizzy,” She called her by her nickname and elizabeth just wave.
“Hello beauty,” Andy wave and she just fake a smile at him. She didn’t want martin to get angry, because he get angry unnecessary and that may lead to another them getting into another fight. She turn to his office and just like she guess, he was staring at them.
“Anything?” She ask turning to look back at them.
“Yeah I was thinking if we could have lunch together,” elizabeth said and evelyn tap her head lightly like she was thinking and almost immediately a message pop in her phone.
“Don’t accept. We are going to have lunch together,” She read the message, and she could not help but smile. She turn to look at martin who just smirk at her.
“Hmmm guys I don’t think I can, i am very busy with a file,” Eve said and they just stare at in dissapoint.
“I am sorry guys,” She pleaded.
“You know you don’t have to hide it. You should just tell us that your fiance does not want you to come with us,” Andy said and evelyn huff angrily at him.
“I don’t get it Andy. What is this with you and martin,” Evelyn fired at him angrily and Andy just smirk.
He simply chuckle and walk out of the office. The others wave at her as walk out of the office likewise.
“Seriously what the hell is wrong with this guy?” She taught to herself staring at his faded figure.
“You see the reason why I h@të that guy,” martin said walking Into the office and evelyn rolled her eyes.
“I am kinda wondering if the word “h@të” is related to you because I can tell almost all the guys I have associate with you Don’t seem to like them,” Evelyn said and martin chuckle.
“Yeah, but Haris is different,” he said and evelyn gasps in surprise. He never expected martin to like Haris. She could tell thy were getting close but she didn’t expect the fact that martin is going to like her.
“I really like him so much. His words are like that of brothers, sometimes I usually taught of him as my best friend cole. They are kind of the same,” He said smiling like he tuaght of something.
“They are both the true definition of bestfriends and I am happy to have both of them in my life. Haris is crazy, but very serious when he comes to you. I taught he has feelings for you but he didn’t and one of the reasons I like him so much is for taking care of you and my little princess,” He said and evelyn bursted into laughter.
“You know I wonder how ava get to like you in just one day. Haris has told me she can’t stop talking about you,” Evelyn said and martin chuckle.
“Well let just say I am cool,” He said arranging his suit playfully and evelyn bursted into laughter.
The couple were happy, they were back together and having happiness in a relationship is mostly all that matters. When there is love but no happiness, it is like a math set with uncomplete set.
“You seem to get the blessings of all my family and friends,” Evelyn said and martin smile shyly.
“Except your father,” He replied and evelyn face changed immediately. Martin stare at her casually, trying to see through her.
He knows something for sure that evelyn is hiding something about her father and he was really going to find out.
“Well let forget that, I am happy I got the love of your family,” Martin said trying to break the silence and evelyn just fake a smile.
She really was not herself anymore. Tears were already gathering in her eyes.
Martin just stare at her, he was observing he, trying to see through her and he really could see the sadness through her even though she tried to hide it with her fake smile but martin know her very well even more than she has expected.
“You know evelyn, If there is something you wanna tell me I am always here for you,” He said and evelyn just stare at him. He was trying to make her feel at ease, he was trying to make her feel safe around him and wanted her to share her problem or worries with him but the girl was so scared. Scared of loosing him.
She has lost him once even through she was the one who gave the go ahead but she didn’t want it to happen the second time.
“Hmmm I think I need to use the restroom,” She said and rush out of the office. Martin stare at her running figure and then he sigh.

Elizabeth was seen walking through the main road and almost immediately she pump into a little figure almost knocking her off but Elizabeth was quick enough to hold her.
“Hey, little one be careful,” She said as she roughly the younger one hair and the younger one smile lightly.
“I think I remember you…. aren’t you evelyn sister?” She ask doubtfully and almost immediately Haris showed up.
“Seriously Ava you scared the life out…..” He stop on his track when he saw Elizabeth standing in front of him.
“Hi,” She wave but as usual he just kept staring at her and elizabeth was really uncomfortable.
“Hey,” She snap her finger in front of him and that seem to bring him back to reality.
“Seriously man, you are always staring at me,” Elizabeth said and scoffs.
“When was it a crime for a man to admire a beauty standing in front of him,” Haris said and elizabeth could not help but beautiful.
“Thank you,” She replied smiling and Haris smile too.
“I never mention you were beautiful…so what is with the smile,” Haris tease him a little and she just frown glaring at him angrily.
“Am just teasing you…..you are beautiful beyond the word beautiful,” He said and elizabeth blush the more.
“My name is Haris,” He stretch forth his hand towards him and elizabeth received it politely and Haris could swear he felt some current inside of him.
“Elizabeth,” She replied smiling and as usual Haris got lost staring at her.
She tried to withdraw her hand way from him but he didn’t allow her making her now.
“Hey I need to go now, my friends are waiting for me,” She said and that was when he unlock from the handshake.
“Bye,” She wave with a smile and walk away while Haris just keep smiling while staring at her walk away.
“Seriously you look like a gorilla with the way you are smiling,” Ava said laughing and haris rolled his eyes and carried her up.
“What have I told you about calling me names,” He tickle her and the younger one bursted into laughter.
