“Welcome back boss,” The staffs yelled as martin walked pass them, and he just waved at them with a smile on his face.
“Oh my goodness. Did he just smile?”
“d@mn, he looks so cute when he smiled.”
“I miss seeing his handsome face,”
“Am sure evelyn will be so happy. I wish I was in her shoes,”
They both Bursted into laughter as they listen to the comments.
“They are really something else. They can’t just stay without gossiping,” Evelyn said as they enter the elevator.
“Really martin. I can’t believe you never smiled at them.” Evelyn said, and martin Chuckled.
“You are one of the few people that see me smile… actually you are the reason behind my smile,” Martin said, and evelyn couldn’t help but blush.
His words just kept making her blush.
The elevator door open and they both stepped out, holding each other hands.
Their eyes widened in shock when they saw grace sitting on the floor.
“Grace?” Evelyn called in surprise, and she turn to look at them before waving at them.
“What the hell are you doing here, and how the hell did you get in here.” Martin yelled, and grace just rolled her eyes.
“Secu….”
“Before you even think of calling the security just know that they never saw me because i sneaked it and I have something to tell the both of you,” Grace said, and they just stared at him.
“Come inside the office then,” Evelyn said, making martin glared at him but she just ignored him.
“Thanks.” Grace said and walked into martin office.
“What the hell do you think you are doing?” He half yelled and evelyn sigh.
“Am sure she has something important to tell us so we don’t have to be rude towards her,” Evelyn Said.
“So what do you wanna tell us?” Martin asked, glaring at her harshly.
“I know you don’t want me here martin. I get it. I am a treat to your relationship but just so you know I am a treat to your relationship,” Grace said and martin scoffs.
“You know I am really hurt to see you two together but not to the extent of ruining your relationship.” She said, while the other two just focused their gaze on her.
“Someone offered me something huge to ruin your relationship. She promised to make me yours Martin, and then give me 2 million naira but I just couldn’t.”
“You aren’t the only man in the world so why should I fight someone who is not fighting back because of you,” She said looking at evelyn.
“She wanted me to fake a pregnancy For you,” She continued.
“Maybe that might create a conflict between both of you, and might ruined your relationship, and she is going to come into the picture like a saviour to Martin, and then she is going to get rid of me.” Grace said.
“Do you by any chance know who Is maria?” She asked, and their eyes widened in shock.
“You know her. Then I will say you should be careful because with the look of things she is d@mn so obsessed with you,” Grace said, and martin sigh.
“I can’t believe she is so desperate to be with Martin,” Evelyn said, and grace Chuckled.
“What do you think? He is handsome, rich, popular obviously she wants to be with him because of his background,” Grace said
“And also her father is a drug dealer who cover up his crimes by prentending to be a business man.
“What! How the hell did you know?”
“My brother taylor told me about it, since he knows everything about them. He was even asked to kill evelyn,” she said and evelyn gasped.
Is high time I put her, and her father in their place, and I will need your help with that,” He turned to grace who just frown.
“What will you be needing my help with?” She asked and martin smirked.

“Oh my gosh son. This is a good news,” Mr Parker said and hug martin who just scoffed.
“I aren’t saying I am going to marry her. I just said invite them over for dinner,” He said and mr Parker frown.
“Be right back,” Mr Parker said, and walked upstairs.
“What the hell are you doing son?” His mother asked glaring at him.
“Mum calm down. I am not trying to Mary her instead I am trying to show him the type of family he is forcing me to get married into,” Martin said.
“What does that mean bro?” Charlotte asked
“You will find out soon,” He smirked and walked upstairs.
“Oh welcome mr Eric,” Mr Parker said and they both hugged each other.
“My daughter,” He kissed maria cheek.
Mrs parker glared at them harshly likewise charlotte.
“Mother,” Maria called and tried to hug mrs parker, but she didn’t allow him.
“Baby,” Maria called and hugged martin as he walked downstairs.
He didn’t pushed her which was kinda surprising to her, and a smile creep out of her face.
‘Maybe he has discovered his feelings for me,’ she taught smiling widely.
“Let eat already,” Mr Parker said and they all walked to the dinning room.
“So why do you invite us for dinner?” Mr Eric asked.
“Oh my son was the one who invited you for dinner,”Mr Parker replied and maria gasps. She turn to looked at martin and blush.
“Do you wanna get married to my daughter now,” Mr Eric said and Martin scoffs.
“Maybe when you guys will be rotting in prison,” Martin asked and he frown, while the others stared at him confused.
“What the hell son. If you are going to be rude why invite them over for a dinner,”
“Because I wanted to show you the type of family you want me to get married to,” He said.
He turn to maria and suddenly grab hold of her hair making her scream in pain.
“Let her go,” Her father yelled.
“Bîtch… you tried to drug me to have sëx with you when I came to your party,” He said and her eyes widened.
“What the hell are you talking…. about,” She shuttered.
“You know what I am talking about Bîtch. You tried to drug me when I came to the party but ended up drugging my fiance or do you think I was going to let this slide away,” Martin yelled.
“Son stop it,” Mr Parker yelled.
“Dad you remember you asked me to go to their party…that night they tried to drug me,”
“So… she was trying to win your heart,” Mr Parker said and martin scoffs before letting go of maria who just smirked.
“Well I am sure you won’t want me to marry a woman who is ready to kill for me,” He said and everyone eyes widened.
“Grace come in,” He yelled and grace walked in, and maria froze immediately she saw grace alongside with Taylor.
“What the Fuçk are you doing here?” She asked in fear.
“Who are these people son?” Mr Parker asked.
“No…they are no one,” Maria said, and martin smirked.
“Dad because she was so desperate to get me, she decided to pay someone to kill evelyn, and the other was to fake a pregnancy For me,” Martin said, and everyone gasps.
“No, no. I didn’t do that,” She yelled.
“She paid me to kill her, but my sister told me not to,” Taylor said and everyone gasps.
“How can you be so heartless,” Mrs parker yelled.
“My daughter will never do that,” Mr Eric said and martin scoffed.
“Drug dealer huh?” Martin said and mr Eric eyes widened.
“Oh don’t be surprised. I know you are a drug dealer and you killed your wife because she threatened to report you to the police,” Martin said.
“Oh my Fuçking goodness,” Mr parker yelled, while mr Eric clinched on his fist, glaring at martin angrily.
“You killed mum?” Maria asked crying already
“Call the police,” mr Parker yelled, and their both eyes widened.
“They will be no need for that. The police are listening right now,” Martin said, and their both eyes widened.
Almost immediately the door burst open revealing 5 men dressed in Police uniform.
“You are under arrest for drug trafficking and some criminal activities,” A police officer said, as they handcuffed both of them.
Taylor grabbed hold of his sister hand, as he stared at maria with sadness.
He really liked her, and he was really scared that he was going to get arrested but they didn’t even look at him.
“No..no I am sorry Martin,” Maria yelled crying helplesslys they dragged her out.
Mr Eric glared at martin angrily as they dragged him out.
“Suit yourself in prison,” Martin yelled.
He turned to look at his father who was just staring at him, and slowly he reached for martin and hugged him.
“I am sorry I forced you to marry her. I was just trying to improve my business and I did wrong by trying to force you to get married to someone you don’t love,” Mr Parker said and martin sigh, and reciprocate the hug.
“Invite evelyn for dinner…”
