Olivia walked into the school building, boldly not minding what some students were saying,

Olivia ignored their rude comments and went straight to her class, she paused when she remembered that there was no
longer a separate class for the poor anymore but Alex had told her to start learning in the A4’s class??
Olivia thought and felt her stomach churned, what would people say when they see her there?
She turned back to go but halted her steps when she saw Charlotte in front of her,
“Hi, been a long time” Olivia muttered, softly.
Charlotte only glared at Olivia, coldly
“I have to get to class now see ya later and oh? my mom is
throwing a party this Saturday, you’re invited ” Charlotte uttered, coldly and shoved a birthday card into Olivia’s hand, she turned to go but Olivia caught her wrist,
“What did I ever do wrong Charlotte? why are you avoiding me? ” Olivia asked, tiredly.
Charlotte scoffed and snatched her hand out of Olivia’s grip, harshly
“If you did something wrong to
me do you think I would be inviting you for Vince’s birthday? cut this Sh|t out! ” Charlotte snapped, irritated.
“Your actions shows it Charlotte, like what did I ever do to you, if I ask it isn’t even something serious, it will only be
some childish stupid matter in which doesn’t even require all this Sh|t” Olivia snapped, annoyed.
Charlotte chuckled, coldly as she folded her arms under her Brë@št,
“Such gut, so you’re all bold and a mouth runner now that you think
you’re dating the hottest guy in school and his best friend too is all over you all because he’s also
in love with you? think it through Olivia, Alex will ditch your ugly @$$ in the end! ” Charlotte spat out h@tëfully.
Olivia flinched as she gazed at Charlotte surprised,

“A….are you jealous of me? ” Olivia asked, slowly.
Charlotte rolled her eyes,
“Why would I be jealous of you? do you have anything for me to be jealous of? I have a mother
and a father, both are rich and bastard billionaires while you, you have nothing, not even a brother,
sister or a father, only you and your poor mother! ” Charlotte retorted with a mocking laughter.
Olivia froze as she gazed at Charlotte, all what she was feeling was shame because by
now the hallway was already crowded, some students burst into a heavy and sarcastic laughter,
Olivia clenched her fist, tight.
It is time for her to stand up for herself and not let people trample on top of her.
“And so what? what about you? The Armstrong’s family picked you up from the street and adopted you into their family because they felt pity for you and now
here you are crushing on their son claiming to be in love with him but you still go out there to club, sleeping with different guys
and whoring around. Do you really think Vince doesn’t know about it? Of course he does and
that is the reason he can’t fall in love with a shameless lady like you! ” Olivia retorted, harshly.
Charlotte shook in fear and shame as she covered her face with her hand because some people were taking pictures and videos of she and Olivia.
“Talking about how will you envy me when I have nothing? of course I have something, that is why Alex reciprocated my
feelings for him back, you’ve never ever for once admit it when you do something wrong, you always
feel you’re right, you need no one’s opinion and only yours but you will still be the one to ask me for an advice or opinion. Like
seriously Charlotte? you really need to sit down and reflect on your Fuçking life and you know
what? am done with this toxic friendship of a thing! ” Olivia snapped, angrily and sauntered off.
Charlotte glared at Olivia’s retreating figure and tears rolled down her cheek,

Some students whispered and laughed.
“And what are you all waiting for?! get out!!” Charlotte roared, angrily and they quickly disperse but not without giving her a h@tëful glare.
Charlotte hissed and wiped her tears, she strolled into one of the restrooms and took out her
phone, she dialed a particular contact, the person picked at the second ring,
“Where should we meet? ” Charlotte asked, coldly.
A loud and evil laughter erupted from the other end, it died down immediately.
“Go straight to the point, honey” A ÇOçky voice erupted from the other end,
“Am ready to do it” Charlotte retorted, coldly…….

Olivia sat down on a bench in the baseball hall as she sobbed, bitterly.
She didn’t really mean to say all that but it’s just that Charlotte made her say it, she can’t keep on
allowing Charlotte to embarrass her all the time in front of other people but now that she has done it she was still regretting it.
She h@tës the fact that because of this stuff, Charlotte would start holding her in her mind and heart,
she h@tës having problem or issues with people, especially with her friends.
Olivia thought, sadly.
Her sobs grew louder.
“You’re crying again even when I told you never to” She heard a masculine voice behind her, Olivia raised her head and glanced at the person,
“A…Adrian? ” Olivia stuttered, surprised.
Adrian smiled and sat down beside Olivia,
“Who made you cry? mind telling me? ” Adrian asked, coolly.
Olivia chuckled, bitterly as she wiped her tears,
“I…had problem with Charlotte but…it’s fine now, am okay” Olivia retorted, sadly.
“You weren’t in school yesterday, the news of how Miss Karen tried to kill you was in the mouth of everyone, I wanted to visit you
yesterday but it wasn’t possible ” Adrian said and uttered the last part through clenched teeth.
“It wasn’t possible how? ” Olivia asked, confused.
“Alex wouldn’t let me see you, he hid you away from me” Adrian retorted, spitefully which made Olivia to flinch.
“Ah that?! I didn’t know” Oliviamuttered, awkwardly.
Olivia wanted to gist Adrian all that had happened between she and Alex but swallowed her words back in,
“Erm! sorry…are you and Alex having any issue? ” Olivia asked, slowly.
Adrian was silent for a while before replying,
“No we’re good ” Adrian replied, smoothly.
He brought out a handkerchief from his pocket as he used it to wipe Olivia’s tears,
“Don’t cry next time, i h@të it when you do…it breaks my heart ” Adrian muttered, softly.
Olivia froze as her thoughts flew back to what Charlotte had said not too long,
She cringed backward making Adrian’s hand to hang on the air,
“It’s okay, my tears has already dried up” Olivia muttered and coughed, awkwardly.
Adrian inched his head, forward as he touched Olivia’s hair and then his hand went to her cheek, he caressed it, gently.
Olivia stiffened and was unable to move,
“Olivia….you’re so pretty, like an angel” Adrian mumbled, softly.
He took his hand to her lips and caressed it, gently.
“Olivia….i want to kiss you” Adrian mumbled, hoarsely.
Seeing that Olivia didn’t move or utter any word, he inched his face nearer, his breathe fanning her
lips and hers fanning his, and was about to slam his lips on hers when Olivia quickly regained herself,
She sprang up from the bench as she took a step back,
Adrian stood up too and took long strides towards her,
“Olivia…i….i… am sorry…it was a mistake, oh gosh…it was a mistake but I don’t regret it” Adrian retorted,
helplessly as he ruffled his hair like a madman,
Olivia raised her hand up telling him to stop,
“Adrian…you can’t do such–
“I don’t care Olivia! I…Olivia…i love you please say you love me” Adrian retorted, hoarsely.
Olivia scoffed,
“I can’t…Adrian…i only see you and take you as a big brother and a friend, I have no feelings for you” Olivia retorted, softly.
Tears rolled down Adrian’s cheek as he went on his knees,
“Olivia…please don’t tell me this, I love you so much, the feeling is
making me to go insane, Olivia am a madman because of my love for you…please don’t reject me” Adrian pleaded In tears.
Tears rolled down Olivia’s cheek, she sniffed,
“You can’t force love Adrian, I can’t just fall in love with you like
that, please stand up you can’t be seen kneeling down else people will badmouth me” Olivia
muttered, calmly as she gazed around trying to see if anyone is in sight.
“No! I won’t stand up! I won’t stand up until you tell me what to do to make you love me! tell me! ” Adrian uttered in tears.
Olivia turned back as she took in a deep breathe,
“Tell me what to do Olivia, please I can’t lose you to anyone ” Adrian sobbed out.
Olivia sniffed as she found it difficult to drop the bombshell,
“I…There’s nothing to do anymore because….my heart already belongs to someone” Olivia blurted out, softly.
Adrian felt his heart stopped beating and everywhere became quiet like a graveyard,
“It’s…it’s Alex right? ” Adrian asked, slowly. Olivia let out a faint smile but refused to see how pale Adrian’s face was,
“Yes he’s the one, right from when I was little he was the only one in my heart and till now he’s still the only one and no one else ” Olivia retorted, softly.
She turned and faced Adrian, deciding to tell him everything so he won’t still be having his hopes up and high for her,
“Actually, the truth is that me and Alex are dating, I love him and he loves me too that’s why I accepted him and I believe that he won’t ever leave me ” Olivia added, calmly with a small smile.
Adrian felt a thousand needles pierced his heart and it shattered into million pieces.
He stood up from the ground, slowly.
“Olivia….Alex already has a fiance, a wife to be, when she
comes back he will dispose you like a trash, trust me that’s how Alex is, please leave him and come to me I promise to treat
you right” Adrian spat out h@tëfully and his tone softened when he wanted to say the last part.
Olivia smiled,
“My answer is my answer and my decision is my decision am sorry… ” Olivia muttered, softly.
She gazed at Adrian as he sobbed, she turned and walked away not minding Adrian’s endless calls.
When she left the baseball hall, she checked her time and saw that it was already school over,
she sighed, took her school bag and strolled out of the school building,
She was almost near the school gate when she saw students gathering a particular spot, she saw a car parked near the school gate and a man relaxed on
the car as he scrolled through his phone looking so hot and dashing like a Greek god.
It was Alex! of course she can sight him from anywhere.
Alex shoved his phone into his coat pocket when he sighted
Olivia among the crowd, he took long strides towards her,
Some female students who thought that he was strolling towards them quickly arranged and composed themselves,

Alex ignored them as he took Olivia’s grip into his,

Alex pulled Olivia, carefully towards his car, some female students who thought that Alex
wanted to approach them, their faces fell and went sour, they gritted their teeths in anger.
“No! Let her go! ” They heard an angry roar behind them,
Everyone turned to see who it was, it was Adrian.
He took long strides towards them and stopped,
Some students quickly brought out their phones ready to take videos and pictures.
Olivia gazed at Adrian for a while and lowered her head while Alex just gazed at Adrian, coldly.
“Say what you want to say fast, I have to take my girlfriend home ” Alex retorted, coldly but mockery was laced in his tone.
“Is it true? you and Olivia are dating? ” Adrian asked, calmly.
“Hmm” Alex hummed, lazily.
Adrian clenched his fist tight thinking of how to punch Alex,
“I won’t believe it until I see proof, prove it to me and everyone here!” Adrian uttered, seriously.
Alex ignored Adrian and opened the car door,
“Get in let me take you home” Alex muttered softly.
Olivia was about to get into the car when Adrian said something that made her paused,
“You see you can’t even do it, there’s no proof which means you are just lying to her and everyone
here, just say the truth that you only want to Fuçk and dump her later! ” Adrian spat out, maliciously.
Alex grabbed Olivia’s waist and pinned her on the car, Olivia lowered her head as she feared
that they might capture her face, Alex raised her head up with his hand and palmed her cheek, gently.
“Stay still” Alex mumbled softly as he inched his face closer to hers,
“Alex….students are with their phones they might–
Alex crashed his lips on hers shutting her up…..
Adrian who couldn’t take it in any longer fell down on the floor and lost consciousness.
Loud gasps erupted from the crowd,
Olivia’s eyes widened…..
