CHAPTER 6: ADAM AND HELENA

Adams sat down on the chair in the restaurant expecting Helena to come fast, he was wearing the best of his clothes and putting on the best of his smiles.
He’s going to propose to Helena today, yes since she came to thier school they had been having intimate with each other and he loved her the way she was. He was a nerd, a pointless nerd but she became his friend and opened his eye to different things.
Helena Veriland, his first sëxmate, she took his first kiss and took his virginity. They were known all over Paragon High France, that the nerd Director’s son and the new hot student in school were having intimacy with each other.
Adams Paragon the only son of Mr Japheth Paragon, the owner of Paragon High school in almost four countries around the world. He was a very brilliant nerd, he wears double rimmed Harry Potter doppelganger goggles and tailors his school uniform with the best tailor in town. Latest cars brought him to school and he uses latest designer school bags and shoes.
His academic supremacy did not decrease even after becoming friends with Helena Veriland the new hot girl. He didn’t choose to be like this, but his father made him so…. His father would always say… “Adams, You must show your academic supremo very well, and must not have any stain on your clear Character. You’re going to be the next director of Paragon High so you must have a clear Character” He’ll always said and Adams as obedient son that he was he always obeyed.
As he sat there grinning widely ear to ear, Helena came, looking elegant and gorgeous, smiling widely like she always does. She took her seat opposite him still smiling “Hey Adams, what’s up with the sudden meeting? She asked Adams that was lost in his thoughts looking at how elegant she looked.
“Oh you’re here? He said timidly
“Yes I am here, why are you so lost in thoughts?” she asked again
“You… You… Just… You just look good” he confessed
“Oh really? You’re not bad either, why did you call me here? she asked while looking at the menu he gave her.
“Em…em… The thing is… The thing is… I…”
“sorry to interrupt you, I wanted to tell you something…. I also have something happy to tell you, but you go first” She said interrupting him.
Adams jaw dropped, what happened thing can she want to talk about, so he wanted to know what she wanted to say…. “no you go first… Mine can wait” He replied.
Helena scrolled on her phone, and showed him a picture of her and a guy hugging each other affectionately, the guy was looking handsome with his colored hair and rings, “That’s my new boyfriend! I thought what you’re calling me for is urgent that’s why I don’t bring him along with me to introduce but I’ll introduce you later” Helena exclaimed.
All passion and burning desire for he hurried burner down woefully as Helena said this, his once grinning face dwindled back to sad face. “What’s wrong Adam is there a problem?”Helena asked snapping him back to his presence.
“Oh, no problem, Congratulations” He said
“So why did you call me up? She asked
Adams hid the flower banquet and the boxed necklace he had brought for her so that she won’t see it. “Oh it’s nothing serious, I just called you over to have a meal here they serve good food here” He said timidly and grabbed the fork and shoved a scope of meat to his mouth munching on it angrily.
“But we’ve eat here before? Helena asked
“Oh really? I have forgotten I thought we never came here before” he stammered.
Helena smiled and contined eating, “oh I don’t blame you, how will you know all that? Nerds care about books anyways” He said casually but Adam heard.
Suddenly but furiously, Adam stood up, “why can you so dumb? Can’t you see I clearly loved you? Why will you choose that guy over me? You know I can take care of you…. My dad’s rich and I can spend his goddamn money anyhow then why? He asked
Helena was surprised… She was overwhelmed how Adam of all people will say he loved her “you loved me? Since When Adam? Did you think I’ll have any feeling for you because we have one or two things together? In your dreams Adam I can’t love you that’s a table” she said and was about to continue eating but Adam dragged her from the chair and took her outside the cafe.
“Who did you think you are Helena? You think you could just come to my school and distract me? You’re my first person Helena and you stabbed me in the back? How dare you? Adam asked
Helena smiled furiously “Hey Adam what are you suddenly talking about? First What? Oh what a pathetic fool you are Adam, did you think I’ll want to date you? Of course not we have fun doesn’t mean I have feelings for you am sorry” She said and left leaving Adam in a tangled mess.
Right before his eyes as she left, she ecountered an accident!

Rebecca sat on the bed and lay down quietly…. She don’t have anything else to say…..
“You can go back to school… Let’s meet later” Ian said
“Why did you want me to leave so soon? You asked me to come don’t you? Then why should I leave without doing anything? She asked
Ian’s eye is red by now, he’s not himself, his head is spinning Rebecca Ken brought him back bad memories that he didn’t want to remember, he didn’t know expect her to be asking him all these questions that are similar to the ones he have heard before.
“I am begging you Rebecca please leave! I don’t want to see you now pls go back to school” He pleaded
“What are you saying? Why should I leave? It’s almost midnight how will I go back to school at this hour? This is not our agreement” She argued
“Stop!! I said Leave!!! I don’t want to see you again” He shouted and fell on his bed.
Rebecca left angrily and dejectedly.

Paragon High school Los Angeles branch was busy that very morning, the midterm exams are starting. Rebecca Ken and her friends are revising their notes even though Ricco and Judy didn’t need it.
Since the day that Ian shouted on Rebecca he hasn’t been coming to school. After that day too, Rebecca changed seats with Carin of Gravity Girls she didn’t want to seat with him anymore.
As they were arranging their seats, Ian came and took his seat. The class fell into a ln abyss of silence. Rebecca was not having a hard time with her Mathematics like she does before, what Ian taught her really worked. As for Judy she simply wrote her name and her class : JUDY ANDERSON CLASS 9 on the paper and plugged in her earphones. Ricco too, wrote his name, RICCO BENSON CLASS 9 and slept on his question paper.
Rebecca looked back at her friends and smiled that’s when she spotted Ian but she ignored him. Carina was not writing anything either but she was looking at Ian as if he was a TV but Ian was focused on his work.
After sometime, they submitted they class became noisy again…. “hello Ian, good to have you as my seatmate, I am Carina Carter” She said extending her hand for a shake.
Ian ignored her and asked Judy… “Hey, where’s Rebecca? He asked
“Don’t talk to me, silly monkey because of you Rebecca has to leave this seat! Judy hissed and faced her phone.
Ian was sad, he looked around the class and found her checking her textbooks and he walked over…
“Excuse me Rebecca, can we talk privately? He asked
“Am sorry, but I am not interested!
