Angelo suddenly carried the little girl and helped her sit in the car, he dropped his gun on the chair but unknowingly to them, Waylon was about shooting his pistol from upstairs, he pulled the trigger but before it could hit Angelo, someone stepped in and the bullet hit him, everyone eyes widened especially Angelo.
“Nooo…” Adrian and Angelo both screamed
“Füçk..” Adrian muttered
Adrian immediately rushed to him when he was about landing on the ground, he carried him up and dropped him in the car, he pushed Angelo inside the car also and entered the driver’s seat, others entered the buses and everyone drove into the road.
“Are you okay?” Adrian asked when they reached the middle of the road, worry was clearly written in his voice, Alex looked at him holding where the bullet met with his hand, the bullet met his Deltoid, a part of the shoulder
“I’m fine, it’s just a little scratch” Alex whispered
“You are literally bleeding, that’s not a scratch” Adrian snapped and he smiled, he looked at Angelo who was looking lost in his own world.
“I told you not to protect me, save yourself first, that has always been our motto” Angelo suddenly snapped immediately he got himself back
“I’m really fine, stop getting worried” Alex shrugged but held his shoulder immediately when the pain gripped him
“I can see you are really fine” Angelo said sarcastically and Alex pouted dramatically.
★ANGELO’S SECRET RESIDENCE★
Adrian immediately helped Alex out of the car when they drove inside and Angelo carried the sleeping little girl they rescued
“Why are you acting like am pregnant?” Alex chuckled and Adrian knocked his head
“Ouch…”
“This is a serious situation and you are still laughing about it” Adrian said
“I got shot, aren’t you supposed to be taking care of me? Right Angelo?” Alex pouted
Angelo rolled his eyes and went inside
“He will get over it” Adrian said and they went inside also.
“Good job everyone” Angelo said immediately everyone entered
“Thanks boss” they all replied and he waved his hand dispersing everyone.
“Let’s get you treated” Adrian said
“Get treated first and rest, we will see later” Angelo muttered and went inside
“Let’s go” Adrian said
“Wait…” Alex stopped someone passing by
“Is the lady we brought here awake?” He asked
“No sir” the person answered
“Is she trying to recreate sleeping beauty or what” Alex muttered
“I guess the drip was too strong for her, she should be awake by tomorrow, you don’t have to worry” Adrian smirked
“Who said I’m worried about her?” Alex rolled his eyes
“I know you are not worried” Adrian said sarcastically and started leaving
“I’m really not worried” Alex shouted after him.
★JENKIN’S HOUSE_DINING ROOM_NEXT MORNING_★
“Have you guys made up?” Their mum looked at them through the glass cup and they both stared at each other. Alaina pouted her lips and Jordan scoffed
“No…” Jordan said
“Why?” Alaina asked
“I’m still angry” Jordan shrugged
“Then should I tell mum….” Alaina was saying but Jordan covered her mouth immediately
“What the h*ll are you doing?” Jordan whispered only to her hearing, their parents stared at them weirdly
“Have you forgiven me?” Alaina asked with muffled breaths, Jordan stood up with her and started rushing upstairs with her mouth still covered, he released her mouth when they got inside his room
“I thought you are not mad at me anymore” Alaina muttered
“When did I say that?” Jordan asked
“Fine…what should I do to make you forgive me?” Alaina moved closer to him, she held his hands
“Nothing…..not like you will listen to me, but you have to promise me you won’t hide things from me anymore, trust me I was so hurt when I found out there are so many things I don’t even know about you, I even started thinking you don’t love me anymore…” Jordan said and Alaina chuckled
“You know I love you and I will always love you, you are the best thing that has ever happened to me and you will always be” Alaina looked into his eyes
“You won’t hide things from me anymore, promise?” Jordan raised his pinky finger and she raised her own too, they both connected it together before using thier thumbs to seal it.
Alaina hugged him immediately burying her face in his chest, he’s taller than her, he buried his face in the crook fo her neck sniffing silently
“You aren’t crying are you?” She asked without looking at him
“I’m not, I love you so much” He muttered and she smiled before breaking the hug, she cleaned his tears and ruffled his hair
“I’m not a kid” he scoffed
“You will always be a baby to me” She smiled
“I want a piggy back ride, my legs are weak to go back downstairs” Alaina pouted
“You said I’m a kid, do you climb a kid’s back?” he muttered but she already jumped on his back before he could decline
“Now you have no choice, let’s go horse” she said and he laughed before going downstairs, their parents looked at them
“What happened?” their mum asked
“She wanted a ride” Jordan shrugged before dropping her gently on the chair
“I love you baby” she said cutely
“Tell that to your future husband” he said before settling on the chair also
“So you guys settled already” their parents asked simultaneously
“Were we fighting before?” Jordan looked at Alaina
“I don’t know what they are talking about also” Alaina said
“I’m tired of you guys” Their mum said and they all chuckled.
★SANDY RESTAURANT_EVENING★
“I thought you will be like his sidechick now or something” Mandy said
“What do you mean?” Alaina asked
“Ohh please, don’t play the ignorant card, he asked you to stay back that day, did he Füçk you?” Mandy asked rawly
“I thought you were stupid by choice but now I know you deserved it” Alaina shaked her head
“Excuse me…”
“God you will look good with a medal, award for the most stupid person in the world, your name will be clearly written there MANDY” Alaina said and Mandy’s eyes flashed with anger
“Heyy…”
“The last time you talked Sh|t about me, you were told that you won’t be paid for three months, I had to help you and beg but it seems you don’t really need that money, I just need to tell the manager something that will make her sack you from work since you are not serious with it” Alaina said
“You….”
“A Bîtch will always be a Bîtch” Alaina said
“Bîtch?…”
“You need confirmation?” Alaina asked
“Shut the Füçk up” Mandy screamed and some of the customers stared at their direction
“Its like you don’t need this job anymore” Alaina said before leaving
“That little rat” Mandy gritted her teeth
Someone suddenly entered and everyone’s eyes turned to his direction

Angelo walked straight to the owner of the restaurant office , Alex and Adrian followed
Sandy came rushing when she heard he was around
“Let’s talk inside” he said and she nodded before leading him to her office
“There’s an event and I need someone from here to handle the foods” Angelo said immediately they got inside
“That’s not a problem, I will send someone to follow you right now” she said
“Can I pick?” Angelo suddenly asked and they all stared at him
“Okay, I will call everyone of them here so you can pick for yourself
★MINUTES LATER★
Everyone stood in a straight line, they were ten in numbers including Alaina and Mandy, Mandy suddenly started arranging her hair but Angelo didn’t even look at her, his attention was solely on someone
“Her…” he said after few minutes, Mandy eyes widened when she saw that his hand was pointed towards her, but he suddenly moved it and it landed on Alaina
“I want her” Angelo said and Alaina eyes widened.
