All students were seated at the stage, in their respective position. Each table had the names of the students participating Including Kyle but that would be changed once Anna’s presence is confirmed.
Swayer took a peak at the Bridge students table, in search of the nice girl since she didn’t know her name. She spotted her at the far end and sadly, she couldn’t see her name.
“Okay students, so my name is Hank Williams and I’ll be your handler for this pre quiz training.” Hank said with a smile.
“Okay so this is how you’ll be seated and then the judges would be seated at the middle. As you can see on the table, there is a big red button that you’re expected to press after every question is asked. Make sure you press the button only when you have an accurate answer.” Hank stopped talking to check if they were following.
“What is the maximum time for us to have a group chat?” Charlotte asked just to be sure if there’s been any changes over time.
“Exactly the usual one minute. The team as you all know with the highest points after three rounds wins. You’re expecting to demonstrate team work to score more points. Is that okay?”
“Yes sir.” They all chorused.
“Okay, we are going to practice. I’m going to ask a few questions and you’ll put to use what I’ve just instructed okay?” Hank asked again and they all replied positively.
“I know this is just practice but I feel anxious already.” Natasha said taking in her buttom lip. Who she had said that too wasn’t clear though as she was seated between Shaun and Kandle and Shaun had his focus on Fabiola who was next to him. Kandle obviously knew she wasn’t talking to him so he didn’t bother looking at her.
Natasha scoffed on seeing that they had both snubbed her. She knew something like this would happen anyways. She had rejected Shaun twice and now it’s obvious he has moved on. Does this mean they aren’t best friends anymore? She would clarify that later with him.
“Okay first question, what is the commonly used drug across the globe?” Hank asked and both teams began whispering until someone from Bridge academy pressed their button.
“Yes miss Lucy.”
“Cocaine.” She answered and Swayer almost choked on her saliva.
“That is incorrect.” Hank said with a smile and Swayer immediately pressed her button.
“Paracetamol.”
“That is current miss Swayer.” Hank said and the Salvatore students shouted in excitement, to be precise, Salvatore girls.
“Why are they so happy? This is just practice.” Charlotte rolled her eyes.
“Really Lucy? Cocaine?” Fedricks, a male student of Bridge academy glared at her.
“What? People use it all the time.” Lucy shrugged.
“It’s an illegal drug, how can people use it all the time. You’re so stupid.” Natalia rolled her eyes. She had said paracetamol but they all ignored her and Lucy rushed to choose cocaine.
“Swayer you’re a genius.” Fiona blew a kiss at her as she was seated far away.
“Next question.” Hanks voice made them return their focus to him.
“Who wrote the book titled Things Fall Apart?”
Natalia immediately pressed her button not waiting for them to screw up again.
“Chinua Achebe.” She said immediately. Her teammates frowned at her thinking she had answered wrongly.
“That is correct miss Natalia.” Hank smiled at her.
Sebastian glanced at her and noticed she wore a straight face, like she didn’t care whether she got the question correct or not. He immediately concluded she’s a smart lady.
“Okay final question. This would determine the winner since we are at a tie.” Hank said and everyone wore their serious face.
“What day would I be in November to have only two matching letters to the month?”
Sebastian and Charlotte immediately pressed their button. Charlotte glared at Sebastian and Sebastian just kept his focus on Hank.
“Okay I’ll have to take miss Charlotte first. What is your answer miss Charlotte?” Hank asked and Charlotte froze. She wasn’t sure if what she had in mind was the answer but she went ahead.
“Wednesday?” she made her answer sound more like a question. Natalia palmed her face immediately.
“That is incorrect miss Charlotte. Over to you Sebastian.”
“If the question had said only matching letters or at least two matching letters then Wednesday would have been the correct answer but it said only two so the answer is none.” Sebastian said and Hank smiled.
“That is correct and that mean the winner of this pre quiz training is Salvatore Academy.” Hank said and all the girls got up screaming. Ivory hugged Sebastian really tight before letting him go and yelling like the mad lady she is. Sebastian just watched them scream as they ran out of the hall. Did they realize this is just practice?
“You’re really as dumb as you look.” Natalia rolled her eyes, standing up to leave but Charlotte dragged her back.
“What did you say to me?” Charlotte asked shooting danger glares at her.
“You think this is Bridge that everything you say is correct? This is a Fuçking quiz! They’ll try to twist the questions and make it a bit hard. Try to think before answering next time.” Natalia scoffed and was about leaving again when Charlotte dragged her back with one hand and raised the other hand to slap her but a hand held hers before it could land on Natalia’s face.
Natalia turned her face to see Sebastian glaring at Charlotte.
“Eww, let go of me you dirty thing!” Charlotte screamed yanking her hand off.
The rest of Bridge students began laughing and Sebastian regretted his actions immediately. He would have just minded his business and followed the others but he wanted to speak to Natalia. He had noticed her name tag on her side of the table and she bares the same last name as Chrystal and as someone else he’s very family with.
Natalia rolled her eyes, adjusting herself.
“I didn’t ask you to help me. Next time mind your business.” Natalia muttered before walking away.
“I thought Salvatore is for rich kids, it seems they are now taking in refugees.” Lucy laughed and everyone joined. They were insulting Sebastian’s simple dress code. He didn’t have fancy clothes like them and he didn’t really care. It had never affected him, up until he began attending Salvatore of course. At least thanks to Swayer and her friends, Fabiola is able to escape the insults. . They’ve been kitting her with designer clothes and shoes and making sure her hair is always done professionally. No one would even notice she’s from a poor family.
Sebastian sighed, walking out of the hall. He had to endure the insults, there’s nothing else he can do. It’s not a new thing so he should be use to it.

Anna got down from the plane with her luggage along with Josey. They had met at the airport and Anna had given Josey the latest gist of everything that had happened including things that’s happened with Sebastian. Little did she know she’s in for a shock. She had missed a lot of chaos and Swayer didn’t tell her about it while they talked on the phone.
“Omg! I know I’ve been living in Canada all these while but it feels good being outside Colombia!” Anna screamed as she inhaled the fresh air.
Josey chuckled at her cuteness. They were acting meeting with Mr Griffin who would be taking them to the beach house, to make things easier.
“There he is.” Anna said as she pointed at a man holding a board with their names on it. They both pushed their luggages towards him.
“Mr Griffin?” Josey called to be sure.
“Yes and I’m guessing you’re Josey D’vile, nice meeting you.” Griffin said turning his focus to Anna.
“While miss Salmore, it’s good to have you back.” He smiled and Anna waved at him.
“Where is Swayer? I thought she would be here as well?” Josey asked with a frown.
“Oh my apologies, miss D’vile and the rest of the students had gone to practice for their quiz. I had to sneak out to come pick you both. I think they will meet us at the house.” Griffin explained and Josey nodded.
He led them out of the airport and they boarded a private limo as they couldn’t take a cab with all the load.

The students were toasting with juice boxes over their little win.
“That’s to show em whose boss!” Ivory screamed and they rest of the girls screamed too. The boys were just watching them with smiles on their faces and juice box in their hands.
“We gotta watch out for that Natalia chick though, she’s smart.” Ethan said and they all nodded.
“We’re this they same team that contested last year?” Chrystal furrowed her brows. She doesn’t recognize most of them.
“I don’t think so. I would have remembered their faces.” Maeve muttered.
“They should have stuck with the old gang. Those one had more sense that the present.” Natasha scoffed.
“Hey Daniero, I caught that Natalia chick staring at you today. Mind hooking me up?” Ethan winked at Sebastian and Chrystal scoffed. This guy would never cease to be a playboy.
The doorbell rang and Swayer got up to go get it. She was thinking about what Ethan said. Well now she knows her name as Natalia and the girl is really smart. Though judging from what Mr Hank had said, they needed to work as a team. If Natalia answers all the questions herself, they will keep losing points for lack of teamwork.
She finally opened the door and screamed her lungs out.
Josey was expecting Swayer to scream her name and hug her but the exact opposite happened.
“Anna!!!!” Swayer screamed and the rest of the girls rushed to door, joining in the group hug for Anna, all totally ignoring Josey’s presence.
