HAPPY BIRTHDAY SHAUN
Fabiola groaned as she walked back to her wardrobe for the seventh time, checking for another outfit to wear.
Swayer and Anna just laid on the bed, laughing at her as she looked really cute and funny at the same time.
“Just pick one already.” Anna chuckled bringing out her phone and began videoing Fabiola.
“Anna!” Fabiola screamed and made a baby face.
“You should see your face right now. It’s not like Chairman Mayor is going to kill you if you wear a simple dress. He just wants to see the lady dating his son.” Swayer shrugged.
“Exactly why I have to look gorgeous today. I don’t want simple.” Fabiola pouted.
“Gosh I think we’ve spoilt you too much. When you first arrived here you were wearing a simple jean and crop top.” Anna sighed, shaking her head.
“And I remember clearly that when I first arrived here, I didn’t have a boyfriend. Now mine wants me to meet his father who is the vice chairman of…well I don’t know exactly.” Fabiola chuckled.
“Is she still dressing?!” Maeve yelled as she stormed into the room.
“Maeve! Oh thank goodness! You’re a life saver!” Fabiola immediately rushed to her, surprising Maeve.
“Why? What did I do?” Maeve asked, blinking severally as she was a bit perplexed.
“You often picked out Fiona’s outfits right? Can you please do the same for me? I’m just confused right now on what to wear.” Fabiola rushed her words.
“What happened to what you’re wearing now?” Maeve furrowed her brows.
“Don’t you think it’s too revealing?” Fabiola frowned. She was currently putting on a mini black skirt with side slits and an off shoulder long sleeves white top. Both were body hug and while the skirt brought out her curves, the top revealed so much cleavage.
“And who’s looking if not Shaun? But fine, I’ll get you something else.” Maeve said and walked towards her wardrobe while Fabiola joined Swayer on the bed.
Soon, Maeve faced her with a short strapless gown and a jacket to go with it.
“There. It’s not too revealing and it’s not too simple too.” She said handing it over to Fabiola.
“Now hurry up, we’ll be late for the party.” Anna added as Fabiola began changing again.
She rushed to the mirror after she had put the clothes on and smiled satisfactory. She quickly arranged her hair which was a bit messed up and fixed her make-up before facing the girls.
“How do I look?” She asked with a bright smile.
“Save that question for Shaun now let’s go already.” Maeve said and dragged her out of the room. Swayer and Anna followed.
The trio got to the living room where everyone was waiting and the moment Shaun saw Fabiola, he almost fainted.
He’s never seen her on full makeup before, from her hair down to her Sëx¥ legs and he couldn’t even describe her beauty.
“I guess that answers your question.” Maeve whispered to her before walking towards the couch where she had earlier dropped her purse.
“Happy birthday Shaun.” Swayer smiled as she walked towards him and gave him a quick hug.
Shaun’s eyes didn’t leave Fabiola’s body all the while until Ethan hit his head again.
“Dude even on my birthday?!” He winced as he rubbed his head.
“Can we go now?” Natasha asked with a cute pout.
“Stop that, it’s making me want to kiss you.” Kandle whispered in her ear and her eyes widened a bit before she giggled cutely.
“You’re not going to wish me a happy birthday?” Shaun asked Fabiola the moment she approached him.
“Not yet.” She winked and walked passed him towards the door.
“Alright let’s go have some fun!” Fiona screamed and they all rushed out of the building, each entering their different vehicles.
Swayer handed Sebastian her Keys with a smile and he opened the door for her like the gentleman he is before getting into the driver’s seat and starting the engine.
Shaun had gotten himself a nice wheel since he now had someone to ride with.
Ethan carried Chrystal in his car even though she had hers. It was more appropriate that way.
Fiona and Maeve rode together since they were the only single ladies. As for Anna, she rode with Freddy. She had invited him to come along for Shaun’s birthday party so he came to pick her up.
Natasha rode with Kandle of course and they all left the school premises.
It was a long drive but none of them cared since they were with their loved ones.
“It’s obvious we are taking each other to prom.” Fiona said with a nod and Maeve laughed a bit.
“Don’t get your hopes up. I might actually get a date before then.” She said and Fiona made a baby face.
“Can’t you just go with me? Must I be the lonely one amongst y’all?” She asked sadly but suddenly laughed.
“We can’t always get what we want sweetie.” Maeve said with a wink and they both laughed as Fiona continued driving.
Soon, they all got to Shaun’s house and the security men cleared a path for them since they knew whom they were.
The compound was so big that it contained up to twenty vehicles and still had enough space for many more.
Fabiola smiled as she stared at the mansion before her. Aside the large buildings in their school, Ivory and Anna’s home which she’s been to, Shaun’s house third mansion she’s come across.
Sometimes being around them made her forget where she came from. It made her forget that she had none of these back home, it made her forget she was a poor girl from a poor home going to a school for rich students from rich homes. She almost lost her smiles until a sudden kiss brought her back to reality.
“You look cute when you space out like that.” Shaun winked at her, stretching his hand to her.
“What is this? Cinderella story?” Fabiola chuckled before accepting his hand.
“Cinderalla story or not, I’ll always be your prince charming.” Shaun said proudly and they both laughed as they walked towards the mansion.
“I’ve never seen Shaun so happy before, I’m so glad he met Fabiola.” Natasha said with a smile.
“Me too. I’ve never seen my sister smile that hard. It gives me joy knowing she’ll have someone to protect her when I’m not around.” Sebastian said with a smile too.
“I’m sure she feels the same way about us.” Swayer added and he kissed the back of her hand before leading her into the building. Natasha and kandle went in as well.
The building was even larger on the inside than it is on the outside.
It was already filled with guests, friends and aquintances of Shaun’s father of course.
Before Natasha, Shaun had no friend so he’s only personal guests were those he came with.
“Oh my, is that him?”
“How he has grown.”
“What a fine young man.”
“Who is that beauty beside him?”
Guest kept commenting as they sighted Shaun and Fabiola.
“Wow, so this is what a political party looks like?” Fabiola asked in a whispery voice.
“And this is why I hardly celebrate my birthdays. My dad insisted on celebrating this one though since I’ll be leaving high school soon.” Shaun said with a sigh.
“Your dad seems nice.” Fabiola complemented.
“Speaking of my father..” Shaun said as an elegant man in his early forties approached them.
“Fabiola, meet my father.” He added and Chairman Mayor smiled lovingly at Shaun.
“Happy birthday son. I’m surprised to see you here with friends.” He said as he glanced at the students who were greeting his guests.
“Thank you father. I guess I finally took your advice.” Shaun chuckled and the chairman faced Fabiola.
“And who is this princess you have with you?” He asked with a broad smile even though he knew the answer.
“Good day sir, I mean chairman Mayor. It’s nice to meet you.” Fabiola said awkwardly. Thankfully, she didn’t stutter.
“Oh Mr Mayor is fine. And you are?” He asked, staring at her keenly.
“Fabiola sir, Fabiola Daniero.” She replied immediately.
“Daniero? I’m not sure I know any Danieros. What does your father do? Are you also a student of Salvatore?” He asked and Fabiola began shaking a bit. She’s never had anyone ask her of her father’s occupation and knowing that this man is filthy rich, it’ll be embarrassing to know his son is dating a girl of low or no class at all.
“Father please, there’s no need for all these questions, at least not now. She’s my girlfriend by the way.” Shaun said immediately he noticed her uneasiness.
“Well in that case, welcome to my home miss Daniero. Make yourself comfortable.” The chairman said and immediately excused himself but stylishly winked at Shaun.
He was happy to see his son socializing. He always worried Shaun would grow up an introverted man but it reduced a bit when Shaun became friends with Natasha but now that he’s seen how social his son has become, he has nothing to worry about anymore.
The party went on smoothly just as planned. Chairman Mayor made a toast in honor is his son, Maeve sang one of her songs for him as a birthday gift. Others also handed him wrapped presents, except Fabiola though and then finally the blowing out of candles and his wish.
It was a blast and everyone was happy, especially Shaun. So far, his nineteenth birthday is the best he’s had ever since. His father always tried his best to make him happy since he was his only child and his mother was late.
Shaun appreciated his father’s effort and thanked God everyday for blessing him with a wonderful man as a father.

It was late now and most of the guests had left except few who were having private discussions with the chairman.
“Thank you so much for coming guys, I’m really grateful.” Shaun said with a bright smile. He’s been smiling non stop since today.
“Of course Mayor. We may have started off wrongly but I’ll always be there for you.” Ethan said and gave Shaun a pat on the shoulder.
Chrystal smiled in satisfaction. She loved the man Ethan was becoming. He wasn’t arrogant anymore, he wasn’t the jerk she had known or the playboy he use to be and she was happy to be the reason for his change.
“I’ll drop you off babe.” Ethan said to Chrystal and she bounced her head.
She hugged Shaun shortly and the rest before following Ethan out of the house.
“Those two are perfect for each other.” Swayer said and suddenly yawned.
“Alright, lets go princess.” Sebastian chuckled and suddenly carried her in a bridal style.
“Hey I can walk! Sebastian!” Swayer whined as he carried her out of the house not minding if people were staring or not.
“He didn’t even let her say goodbye.” Anna chuckled.
“You guys can stay as long as you want though. Don’t mind those two.” Shaun said and everyone laughed.
“I wasn’t planning on leaving anyways.” Ivory said and helped herself out to a drink.
Shaun grabbed Fabiola’s hand and led her towards the stairs. He showed her around the down floor a bit before finally taking her to the first floor upstairs where his room was located.
“Your house is so beautiful.” Fabiola complimented as she stared at the beautiful paintings on almost every corner of the wall.
“Not as beautiful as you though.” He said and he led her into his room.
“Now I wish I lived in a mansion. Your room alone is bigger than my living room and kitchen combined.” Fabiola chuckled as she looked around but when Shaun didn’t respond, she faced him. He wasn’t smiling anymore, just staring at her.
“What?” She asked, blinking cutely.
“You are the only one who hasn’t wished me a happy birthday today. It already nighttime and my own girlfriend doesn’t want to wish me a happy birthday.” Shaun said with a frown.
Fabiola chuckled and move closer to him, she cupped his face and gave him a short kiss before pulling away.
She immediately took off her heels as her feet were begining to hurt her. Then she took off her jacket, dropping it on the floor, close to her heels.
Shaun watched her keenly, wondering what she’s doing. It was until she began taking off her gown that he understood it all.
Fabiola let her gown fall freely on her feet, leaving her in just her underwear as she stared at Shaun’s face. His expression told her he was stunned by her beauty.
“Happy birthday Shaun.” She said with a smile.
