It was a video of someone pointing a gun at Violet. She was seated outside Remy’s hostel smiling at wh@tëver she was doing on her phone

” That’s because you are one. I guess Lishu would have said the same thing if he were alive.. ” He said and Xue landed him another slap which make him fall to the ground
” You think I’m joking?..” Xue asked, bringing out his phone
” Kill the girl..” he said while Ryan’s eyes widened.
” What?? You’re joking right ? You wouldn’t do it !!”
” Watch me son ” Xue said coldly
Ryan still didn’t believe what was happening until unknown man in the video ÇOçked his gun, ready to shoot
” I give you 10 seconds or she dies”

” Please dad you can’t do that to her ” he begged
” 8, 7, 6, 5….
” Let her go please, she’s innocent ” he pleaded in tears but Xue wasn’t still listening
” 4, 3, 2…..”
” Please stop..” he screamed
” Meaning?” Xue asked
” I’ll do as you’ve always wanted, I’m gonna get rid of my feelings for her but please, don’t harm her please ” he cried holding his dad’s legs
” Retreat..” Xue said over the phone.
” You should have agreed earlier then all this wouldn’t have been necessary… Do as I say if you want her alive and so you know I got my eyes on you..” Xue said before walking out of the room
Leyan entered too almost immediately in tears, her eyes were swollen as hell
She made to touch him but he shifted back
” Don’t you dare touch me.. did your parents know you married a monster? Or were you also forced into marrying him? ” He asked but his mom slapped him instead
” Ya’ll can blame me, I know I’m not a good mother, I know I haven’t been a good mother, I know I support my husband a lot but can’t you both see I’m trying too? I can’t stand this marriage too!!” Leyan cried.
She held her son to herself as they wept together
” She’s my priority and I must protect her” he said reaching for his phone on the floor
? I’LL BE SPENDING THE NIGHT AT HOME, SO DON’T COME TO THE HOSTEL I WON’T BE THERE” he sent before tossing his phone away
He clutched his knees tightly together as he resumed crying

Violet sighed loudly when she read the message
” I thought I was gonna see you again..” she muttered sadly before walking back into Remy’s hostel
” Gosh, aren’t you two done yet?” Violet entered and they immediately disengaged from the kiss
They’ve been kîssing the whole time
” Oh, I guess I interrupted something ” She said and Claire looked down shyly
” I’ll be going home now, Ryan said he’ll be spending the night at home so you both have the whole house all to yourselves ” Violet giggled, carrying her bags
” He’s Spending the night at home?” Remy asked and she nodded
” Something isn’t right..” he muttered
” Huh? ”
” Nothing, I need to go home now, see you tomorrow Claire..” he kissed her shortly before running off
” What’s wrong with him?” Violet asked but Claire just smiled touching her red swollen lips.
” She’s lost ” Violet shook her head at her before walking out of the house too

” What happened?” Remy rushed into Ryan’s room only to see him crying seriously with his head buried between his knees
” Ryan… ” Remy called but he didn’t reply
” What happened? Why are you crying? Did Li Xue die?” Remy asked
” How I wish he dies and Li Shu comes back to life ” he replied, looking up
” OMG!! You look… Pathetic ” Remy exclaimed
” I would rather cry when a fish dies than cry over Li Xue’s death ” he added
” Then why are you crying? Violet was waiting for you at the hostel..” Remy said sitting next to him
” How did you know she was there? Is she alright? ”
” Yeah she’s fine. I went there to see Claire..I mean you but I met Claire there ” Remy replied
” Don’t wanna tell your elder brother what’s bothering you?” Remy asked
” Dad’s threatening me with Violet. He wants me to marry Mara in exchange for Violet’s life”
” What?!!! ”
” She was even attacked few weeks ago..” Ryan said again
” What?!! ”
” I’m confused Remy, I don’t want to hurt Violet because I love her so much and I can’t watch anything happen to her because of my love for her else I might as well just die!! I’m going cr@zy Remy” he cried and Remy pulled him into a hug
” I know the engagement or wh@tëver won’t hold. I believe Lishu wouldn’t just sit there watching his favorite kid brother go against his wish..” Remy said, patting Ryan’s back gently as he wept
