Days passed and Ryan didn’t step his legs in his hostel, he seems to be avoiding Violet under his dad’s supervision. He didn’t speak to her or go even some meter closer to her and these made her sad.
Remy had tried talking to her but anytime he tries it, he always end up getting beaten by his dad dogs who has been spying on him too
Ryan was still at the rooftop singing softly when someone tapped him from behind. He turned only to see Violet
” Hey ” he said, looking away from her
He didn’t bother to look at her direction again untill she turned him to herself, making him face her
” What’s wrong? What did I do to you?? Did something happen? Why aren’t you saying anything?” She asked but he just stared at her.
His dad had people watching him and one was currently looking at them from down the building though she wasn’t aware
He almost tear up as he watched her. Seeing the girl you love yet you couldn’t talk to her because you were being watched
” Don’t you love me anymore? It’s been days now Ryan, you don’t call me, no text, nothing at all. Anytime I call, you wouldn’t pick. You don’t even reply my messages. Can you just tell me what I did wrong huh?” She said, almost in tears
” Baby..” Mara called walking to them
” Baby? ” Violet asked confused
” Surprised? Of course we..
” One more word from you and you’ll regret it.” Ryan threatened and she immediately went mute
” I think I should be in class now..” Violet said and made to leave and but he quickly hugged her after making sure his dad’s men’s weren’t watching him any longer
Mara just scoffed, watching them
” Please be save, it’s dangerous being around me.. I’ve been trying to tell you things all this while but I’m not chanced. I can’t say anything to you right now Violet, I need to be this way for your safety, please understand.. ” he whispered while in the hug
She stood still not hugging him as tears gathered in her eyes. It’s been days and he has been ignoring her like she doesn’t even exist
” Why would you ignore me without telling me what the problem is? and who told you I’m scared of the danger you’re talking about?” She said, pulling away from him
” I don’t know what’s happening but shouldn’t I be the first person you tell what’s bothering you? Do you even love me at all Ryan?” She asked but Ryan just stared at her fighting his tears
‘ I wish I could just tell you Violet, I wish I could..’ he cried inwardly
” It’s fine though ” she said cleaning her eyes before walking away
Mara walk up to Ryan and made to hold him but he shifted back..
” Take a step further and I promise to push you down this rooftop” he said meanly and she relented
” Why are you doing all this? For goodness sake, we’re getting married next week..” Mara said aloud
That moment, Jeffrey and yixuan were just climbing the rooftop but Jeffrey was the only one who heard them
” Let’s go back..” he turned to Yixuan
” Alright ” she replied, even though she didn’t know his reasons
” Getting Married? I just Can’t wait to kîll you on that day.” He said and walked away, leaving Mara there

” What?!!” Claire exclaimed after Remy had explained everything about the marriage to her
” How can she be so dumb? I thought she was joking when she said she’s gonna asked her dad to help them be together” Claire said.
She was at Remy’s hostel
” I need to talk to her..” she stood up. ” See you later “she hugged him tight before opening the door and there she met Reece and the rest of his friends
” Hey babe ” Reece smiled
” Don’t call me that, it’s annoying when it comes from you ” She scoffed
” You’re still very noisy..” Reece replied and she rolled her eyes before walking away while the boys laughed
They always disturb her with every opportunity they get
” You man, how you doing ?” Fargo said, going to meet Remy on the couch

Ryan was about taking a corner when Jeffrey stood in front of him
” What did I just hear? You and Mara are getting married next week? Are you both joking or are you two drunk?” He asked. He had asked yixuan to go to class Because he wanted to confront Ryan
Ryan sigh putting his hands in his pants pocket
” So? What if you heard correctly ” Ryan asked but a punch landed on his face and his lips produced blood immediately
” How dare you say such ? It’s because of you she wasn’t able to reciprocate my feelings, your idîót” Jeffrey yelled
” Because you were being a loser who didn’t know how to confess his feelings” Ryan said meanly
He was intentionally getting on Jeffrey’s nerves. He needed someone to beat his up cos he was sick and tired of everything too
” You motherFüçker.. ” Jeffrey yelled landing him another punch
The students had begin to gather
” What’s going on?” Violet asked standing between them but none of them was ready to give an explanation
” Let’s go ” Jeffrey pulled her out of the place

The Students began murmuring among themselves, leaving the way they came. Claire was just getting to the scene
She stared at Ryan for a while before walking up to him.. she held his hands but he yanked her hands off
” Just because you’re dating my brother doesn’t mean you can touch me that way.. ” he said meanly but she slapped him hard across the face
” I think you need to reset that brain of yours, cos it’s clear it’s not functioning anymore, you’re really brainless.. ” she said while he scoffed
” You know nothing so keep shut.. ” he shouted
” I know everything..” Claire replied and immediately Mara walked to them
” Hey..” Mara smiled at her.
” Hold your greetings to yourself fóól.. ” Claire turned to her
” What has gotten over you Claire ”
” What has gotten over me? How I h@të evil people, how dare you try taking what isn’t yours? ” Claire yelled
” Since you already know everything, then no need hiding it any longer.. he was mine to begin with and you know that..” Mara yelled back but Claire slapped her and she held her hurting cheek. Ryan just walked out of there, going to his hostel
” You wîtch.. you knew I liked Ryan first in the past but what did you do? You went and said bad things about me infront of him even when he didn’t even space me a glance. Even when it was one sided. I couldn’t face him anymore because I was scared, scared even when I did nothing bad. I don’t have a problem about you loving him but trying to deprive him of his happiness? I’m never gonna support that!! Are you even human?’ Claire yelled.
She looked at the friendship bracelet she shared with Mara
” Avoid me from today, cause you’re no longer a friend, the Mara I see now is just one selfish monster..” she said throwing the bracelet at Mara before walking away
Mara just watch her leave without saying a word
” Of course he’s more important to me than you are..” she muttered picking up the bracelet before walking away too
