Li Xue’s was so engrossed in what be was doing on his desktop when his phone rang. He smiled when he noticed it was from one of his men
? How did everything? He asked
His business partners had come back and things were working perfectly well again though his wife doesn’t talk to him
? He has been avoiding her completely.. the man replied
? He really kept to his words, now, tell those watching him to stop spying on him, I don’t think he’s gonna go back on his words.. Xue said

Violet entered the house but her Grandmother wasn’t anywhere in the sitting. She heard faint sounds coming from her grandmother’s room and there she met her crying softly while holding unto a necklace
” Why should this be the only thing you left for your daughter?” She cried while Violet just stood at the door watching her
” Was that from my mom?” She asked
” You’re here..” Granny Pamela said wiping her tears.
” Is everything okay Grandma? And who has the necklace? It’s pretty.. ” she asked, walking fully into the room
” It’s yours, I’ve keeping it for you all this while ”
” Really? It’s really pretty it must cost a fortune. We can just sell it and….
” We can’t !! ” Her grandmother interrupted. ” This is the only thing you have of your mom ”

” Turn around, I’ll help you with it ” her granny said and she did
She gently placed the necklace around her next as they stood in front of the mirror
” It’s pretty grandma.. ” she smiled and her grandmother smiled back
” I should go to the cafe now since I quit working at the restaurant already” she said
” She’s still very naive..” Granny Pamela sighed again
” Bye grandma..” she left the room
She got another dress from her wardrobe and changed into it before heading to the cafe
Though she seem to suspect Mrs Zhan but that doesn’t mean she should make Mrs Zhan know she was suspecting her.

” Hey Jin..” she waved while he smiled
” Good evening ma’am..” she smiled at her Mrs Zhan
” Are you planning to seduce my son with those cute smiles of yours?” Mrs Zhan teased
” C’mon Mrs Zhan !!” Mujin whined while Violet laughed.
In no time, orders came and she began going on deliveries even though her heart was heavy, she was only doing so to forget about the pain she was feeling
” You’re stressing yourself too much” mujin said, taking the glass from her
She’s been working absentmindedly for a while now. She made to pour hot water into another class but she ended up pouring it on her hand unknowingly
” Ouch ” she winced
” Gosh Violet, what’s wrong with you?” Mrs Zhan scolded pulling her to a seat but she immediately burst out crying
” It’s Ryan, he’s been avoiding me for days now, he doesn’t call or text, even when I do, he doesn’t reply..” she cried and Mrs Zhan sigh before pulling her into a hug
” Why will he ignore you ? Is he going bonkers? What’s happening?” Mrs Zhan asked disengaging from the hug
” I don’t know ma’am.. it’s really killing me slowly..” she wept again
” I don’t know why you all think love truly exist..” Mrs zhan sigh patting her back gently
” Do you think he has his reasons? Even if there’s one, weren’t I the first person he should be telling?”
” You’re gonna fall sick at this rate.. you need to calm down and try reasoning things out with him. Meet and asked him the reason for his behaviors towards you. Cause the Ryan that has been coming here isn’t capable of ignoring you for anything..” Mrs zhan assured
” I know right?” She said and Mrs Zhan nodded
” You can go home and take care of yourself okay?” She said and Violet stood up
” Bye Jin and you too ma’am..” she did a little bow before walking out of the shop
” Poor thing..” mujin muttered as he watch her leave

Ryan kept tossing on his bed, his mind drifting to Violet at intervals
” I’m sorry I’m hurting you.. I can’t even tell you the truth. I’m sorry for being a bad boyfriend, I just can’t involve you into my mess ” he sigh sadly

? It seems Ryan still likes her.. his attitude today said it all, do well to track her device and monitor her every move. If my guesses are right about him still in love with her, kîll her at once then feed her body to the beast in the forest.. Mara said over the phone before ending the call
” Can’t believe Claire is mad at me because of her. Ryan can’t love me too because of her.. this can’t be happening, I can’t lost two things at a time because of a girl..” she said sitting on her bed and immediately she got a message

Violet got home only to Meet Jeffrey already in the house
Her plans were to go see Ryan immediately according to what her boss asked her to do
” Is something wrong?” She asked after seeing his reaction
” You need to forget about Ryan and move on..” he said

” He doesn’t deserve your love Violet don’t you get it ?”
” What exactly am I missing Jeff? What am I to see Jeff? Yes I can’t forget him cause he’s all over my head, just the thought of him avoiding me is driving me cr@zy ” she cried
” What’s he hidding from me? Gosh I think I’m gonna dîe if I don’t see him.. I think I might dîe if he doesn’t explain things to me..” she said and turned to the door
” Violet!! ” Jeffrey shouted
” What?” She shouted back in tears
” I know I’m being stûpid right now Jeff but I just can’t live without him, don’t you get? I f*cking love him so much that it hurts a lot..” she cried

” Can you just get a hold of yourself? He doesn’t deserve your love, he’s getting married to Mara next week..” he yelled
