” Violet.. Jeffrey ran to her panting.
” What was that?” He asked
“I’m really sorry Jeff. But I had to thank that guy. He did helped me a lot today doing the exams”
“He did what? You mean Ryan helped you?” Jeffrey asked, surprised
“Yeah.. let’s go home, can’t wait to celebrate my forthcoming victory.. she said as she walked out of school with Jeffrey
They got to the bus stop and waited few minutes for the bus
” You said Ryan helped you? What did the other supervisors say?” Jeffrey asked
“Don’t be silly, not as if he said question one’s answer is A.. it was during the math questions. Jeez I had solved the questions four times yet I wasn’t sure of my answers. It continued that way till I gave up”
“So? How did he help you then?” Jeffrey asked curiously and the bus stopped right In front of them.
They entered and found themselves two empty seats.They sat and the bus started it journey
“So back to your question.. I discovered my working were okay but got mixed up somewhere which gave me the wrong answer. Then the dude just passed by and saw what I did. He stared at me strangely for a while….
” Okay?
“He took out his phone and began to talk. Though his voice wasn’t loud but since my seat wasn’t far from his, I could hear him. He explained everything indirectly to me” She explained
“How did you know he was talking to you?” Jeffrey asked again
“I’m not dumb Jeff, you know I already told you my work got mixed up? Not as if I got everything totally wrong so I could figure it out… She said and he nodded
” Can’t believe he could do that.. he said and press on the bus bell indicating they were dropping off the bus
They both got down from the bus and walked the remaining distance home happily
” What’s up with the smile? ” The twins who have been waiting for them asked at once.
” Wow, Did you two miss me that much?” Violet asked as they all walked into Granny Pamela’s little house
” Miss you? Is that a name of a person or an animal?” Kira asked sarcastically while Violet rolled her eyes.
The twins pretended not to care but deep down, they had missed her and were restless too
” Good afternoon grandma.. Violet went to hug her
” How was the exams? Did you find any question difficult?” Granny Pamela asked
“No granny, everything worked out well during the exams”
” And you Jeffrey, hope you didn’t allow anyone bully my baby?” Granny Pamela faced Jeffrey while he let out a smile
” Of course not granny, no one dares bully Violet” He replied and Granny Pamela chuckled
” Since we’ve seen your ugly face, we will be on our way now” Kira said making Granny Pamela laugh
” Bye grandma.. and you too my sweet Jeffrey.. Kylie said
Kira stared at violet then stuck her tongue out at her before walking away with Kylie
” Those little witches.. Violet said walking to the kitchen
She checked the time and discovered it was after three pm. She exclaimed immediately she remembered her per time job at the cafe
She sat closer to Jeff and started to eat very fast.
” Hey Slow down, you’re gonna choke.. Jeffrey cautioned and she immediately stood up on her feet.
“Bye grandma, bye Jeff… see you by 5pm.. she waved and ran out of the house running down the street until she got to the cafe.
She stood Infront of it panting heavily. Her stomach had began paining her due to the race and also because she ate without proper rest
She walked into the coffee shop holding her stomach
“You’re late violet” came the voice of her boss.
“I’m sorry ma’am, I just finished writing the scholarship exams.. she explained and slumped on the available sit.
” Oh yeah… I totally forgot. Evergreen college is conducting the scholarship exams today. So how did it go?” Her boss asked
“It was fine.. she replied, wincing silently
” Are you okay?” Her boss asked after noticing her pale face
” Yeah, I’m fine.. she said and made to stand but the pain made her sit back.
” Of course you’re not.. just take a rest and go home. I can’t have my hands stained with blood if you die here.. her boss said
” You’re nice ma’am.. Violet said with a smile before her eyes suddenly became blurry and she passed out
” Violet.. Mrs Zhan, her boss called fearfully
” Mujin, help me carry her.. Mrs Zhan said and Mujin ran to her and carried violet in a bridal style to one of their inner rooms
He placed her on the bed and stared at her for a while before walking out of the room
” Silly thing! Why did you have to stress yourself so much? You should have called and I would have given you all the time you want so you could rest properly.. Mrs Zhan said and walked out of the room too.

” I’ve been waiting for you.. where did you go?” Ryan asked Brown who just drove into the parking lots
“I’m sorry young master, the car broke down on my way here so I had to get it fixed”. Brown replied
Though Ryan had Six cars, the Red Roger was his favorite even when he had mistakenly ran it into a wall, he still got it fixed
‘ Let’s go.. he said and headed to the driver’s seat
” Young master…. Brown trailed off
“I know your fears Brown but no qualms, just get into the car, I will handle the rest. I know you’re scared but I promise not to get us killed… We’ll just get hospitalized ” he said and entered the car
” He’s even saying ” we’ll just get hospitalized…” Brown mimicked
” Gosh, I hope young master isn’t the end of me” he muttered and got into the car reluctantly
Ryan ignited the engine and began to drive out of the parking lots slowly
Remy’s frown deepened as he watch the car drive out of the parking lots
Although he h@tëd Ryan but not to the extent of wanting him dead cause to him, Ryan was seeking for dead by driving himself
” Isn’t that Ryan driving? I thought he didn’t know how to drive?” Fargo asked from behind
“Let’s go” Remy ignored his question as they walked to their cars.
