“Mr Xian said we could take today off?” Violet asked and Jeffrey nodded
” But I really need the money, even if it’s a $100 I get from him along with the $200 I get from the coffee shop, it’s money right?” She asked and he nodded again
” You can borrow from me if you need money.. Jeffrey said
He didn’t want to get her mad if he said he will be giving her the money
Violet scoff. “Why should I borrow money from you when I can just work for myself? She laughed
Her question somehow hurt him but he decided to waved it off
” Should we go to the coffee shop together? You’ve always wanted to see where I work.. She said and he nodded.
“I’ll go get dress then. Wait for me okay?” She said and walked to her room

“I will serve them” Mujin said and walked to the customer to take his order.
Jeffrey kept staring at her as she worked. He smiled each time he sees her face. Mujin noticed this and walked up to Violet

” Well, I doubt that” . He said and Violet furrowed her brow.
” What do you mean? She questioned and he walked closer to her
” I’m a guy and I can tell if a guy likes someone. I think that guy doesn’t just see you as a friend. He seems to like you beyond friendship.. Mujin said and a scoff escaped her lips
” I doubt that, Jeffrey would never think of me that way and besides.. she trailed off
” Nevermind.. she said and continued with what she was doing while Mujin shrugged

” Tired?” Jeffrey asked immediately she was done with work.
” Yeah, work was stressful and You saw it too. But I’m glad we don’t have to go Yin Yang restaurant today” She smiled
” Let’s get going then. Jeffrey said while she nodded.
” So when will the results be out?” Mrs Zhan asked
” Probably tomorrow evening.. I’ll let you know when it’s out” Violet said with a smile and Mrs Zhan laughed
” I don’t know why but I like you so much. You remind me of my younger self.. she said and it was Violet’s turn to laugh
” It means you were quite stubborn.. Violet said
” How did you know that? Mrs Zhan exclaimed. “Did I tell you? She asked
” You said i’m stubborn so if I really remind you of your younger self, you must probably be like me.. she replied
” You’re so cute”. Mrs Zhan chuckled and gave her her pay.
” I’ll be bringing something for you tomorrow. A gift for college.” She added and Violet nodded before walking out to meet Jeffrey
” Bye Jin.. she waved.
Mujin did same as he watch her walk out of the shop with Jeffrey
” I hope you can tell her how you feel. Violet is a lovable person… I don’t blame you for falling for her” Mujin muttered lowly.
