Ryan got to class and met Remy already seated with his friends talking and laughing. He tried to walk pass them but his legs failed him
There was no harm in asking about his well being right?
He gathered the courage he needed before facing Remy
” Morning Remy… He said but Remy didn’t bother to look at him yet that didn’t stop him from asking what he wanted to
” Hope you’re okay? I saw the news and that’s why I rush down to school to check on you.. he and Remy scoff loudly
” Stop being an hypocrite.. You’re disappointed i’m not dead aren’t you?” Remy asked and his friends were shock at his question
Ryan felt hurt as those words left his mouth but he acted all cool.
He knew how much Remy h@tëd him but he was hoping a miracle could happen and things would change between them
He ignored Remy’s question and walked to his seat.
He was restraining himself from breaking down in front of everyone
He took out a book and placed it infront of him.
” Stop being a hypocrite, you’re disappointed I’m not dead aren’t you” Remy’s words kept ringing in his head and he held his head
It was spinning again!
He brought out his headphone and placed them on his ears. He has close to 15 headphones of different colors. Though his dad had broken his favorite, that didn’t stop him from using the rest
The headache subsided and he inhaled
His eyes scanned his book blankly
Jeffrey walked up to him and sat closer to him but he didn’t say a word even though he saw Jeffrey
Jeffrey removed the headphone from his (Ryan’s) ears. Ryan stared at him briefly before facing his book. He didn’t bother putting the headphone back, he just left it on his neck
“Are you alright?” Jeffey asked but he didn’t reply
” I actually bump into them on their way home after the incident “Jeffrey said while Ryan pretended not to listen but he was
” He looks fine, so you shouldn’t worry too much” . He added before walking to his seat. Ryan stared at him again before placing the headphone back on his ears
He has been thinking about the accident so he was very happy to hear they were okay from Jeffrey, though it still pained him that it wasn’t directly from the horse’s mouth.

Mara wept greatly as she sat on her bed. She didn’t expect to be humiliated that way
She didn’t even slapped the girl back yet she was the one who got humiliated.
‘ He even touched her, he f*cking touched her” She raved
” Crying won’t help, you just have to fix your attitude….I believe if you start being nice, he will like you.. Claire said
” Can you just leave.. Mara yelled
” Fine, I will go. Claire said and walked out of the house. She shrugged before walking to class

Violet sat on the couch staring at her phone. She was eagerly waiting her result, since it was said it will be sent to them on the third day but none was forthcoming
” Did i fail? What should I tell mrs Zhan” She wondered checking the time. It was almost 3pm.
” It seems I won’t be able to see the surprise she has for me after all.. she said sadly as she walked to her room to get dressed for work
” I’m heading to work grandma.. She said and walked out of her house

Lectures were over and Jeffrey immediately stood up
The lecturer had told them the scholarship results were out and the names of those who got admitted was on the bulletin board
They had a failure with their server so they couldn’t notify the candidates yet
Jeffrey ran out of the class to where the results were pasted. He made his way to the front and scan the names with his eyes
He brought out his phone and took a picture of it before forwarding it to Violet.
” I’m so proud of you.. he smiled aand turned to leave but bumped into Claire
” I’m sorry Claire” he apologized and ran off
Claire stared at him till he was no more before proceeding to her hostel

” So how is the result?” Mujin asked while Violet faced down sadly
” You didn’t pass?” Mrs Zhan exclaimed
” No ma’am, the results are.. she didn’t complete her statement when a notification pop up on her phone
She decided to check it and her eyes almost jutted out of their socket
” What’s wrong? Is it the results? Zênme yàng( how is it)? Did you fail?” Mrs Zhan asked, taking the phone from Violet whose eyes were teary already
” Good gracious!! ” Mrs Zhan exclaimed as she stared at the phone
Mujin didn’t want to be left out so he collected the phone from his boss.
” OMG.. Violet.. He exclaimed
” How come you got 99.5% in the exams. Does that mean you didn’t fail a single subject?” He asked and tears left her eyes
Tears of Joy! She never in her wildest dream thought She’ll get to college.
” I passed ma’am, I got the highest average ” she sob
” I’m proud of you Violet, your mom must really be proud to have a daughter like you” Mrs Zhan said and she cried more
Mujin walked to her and pulled her into a hug
” You did well. He patted her back gently. He disengaged from the hug and held her shoulder with his two hands
” Don’t worry, I will do all the work today. Just sit here.. he said helping her to a seat
” Xiexie Mujin” She thanked him and he smile before walking to the counter
” Have this.. he said, handing a cup of latte to her
” Why don’t you make one for yourself and one for me? Let’s celebrate the scholarship girl.. Mrs Zhan said and Violet smiled
” Alright boss”.. Mujin smiled
