” I’ll be on my way now.. Violet said as she stood on her feet
” wait a minute…” Mrs Zhan said, walking into the inner room
She came back with a big travelling bag which she handed to Violet
” Take it home. It’s my gift for you. Don’t open it yet untill you get home okay?” She said making Violet wonder what could be in the bag
” Don’t forget to seduce a lot of guys too” she grinned mischievously and Violet grimaced
” Here, take a cab home and here is your pay” Mrs Zhan gave her her pay
” Thank you ma’am.. she smiled and dragged the bag out of the shop
She stood in front of the shop waiting patiently for a cab

” Hey.. Jeffrey said walking to meet Ryan who was waiting patiently for Brown
” I just wanna say thank you.. He said and Ryan stared at him wondering why he was thanking him
” Never mind.. see you on Monday then” Jeffrey waved before walking out of the parking lots
Remy and his friends appeared
” Hey buddy.. Reece waved while Ryan just stared
” Don’t gimme that look, just wanted to say hi.. he said and Ryan turned his gaze to Remy who was entering the car.
” Reece, get into the car ” Remy yelled
” He’s impatient…” Reece laughed. ” Bye then , see ya!.. he said before walking to the car. He entered and they drove out
Ryan kept staring at their direction until they were no more. Brown drove in immediately but he didn’t allow him( Brown) step out of the car before he entered
” Is something wrong young master?” Brown asked and he shook his head in denial.
He leaned on his seat and rested his head on it.
He closed his eyes, listening to the slow soft music that was playing on his headphone

Violet alighted from the cab and dragged the big bag into her house.
” Grandma I’m home.. she announced her presence but she didn’t get a reply
” She must have gone out. She sigh before dragging the bag fully into her room.
” Should I open it now? Nah, I should do it tomorrow since Jeff will be here soon. I wonder what could be inside the bag?” She wondered
” What if its a time bomb?” She gasped theatrically before laughing
She walked out of her room leaving the bag on her bed
” Hey.. Jeffrey walked into the house
” Jeffrey.. she gave him a side hug
“Thank you so much for the result.. she said disengaging from the hug
“You made me proud” he smiled at her and she smiled back
” Are you ready?” He asked
” Not really, wanted to eat something first… But nevermind, let’s get going. She replied and they both walked out of the house afterwards
” Violet, how is the results? Did you pass?” Kira shouted from their window.
They were under house arrest and couldn’t leave the house because they had beaten another kid in their neighborhood
The fight had started when the other kid called Kylie ugly. The statement annoyed Kira so she had to fight for her sister and they ended up being punished by their mom
” Yeah, I did.. Violet replied
” Really? Kylie asked and she nodded
” I wish I could go out .. Kira said sadly
” Me too.. Kylie agreed as they watch Jeffrey and Violet walked out of their sight

” You mean you passed?” Mr. Xian asked and she nodded
” That’s great news. Your grandma must be really proud of you” Mr. Xian said and she smiled more broadly
” Then you will have to start school on Monday?” Mr Xian asked again
” yeah ” she nodded slowly
” It’s fine, you can start coming here whenever you see fit” Mr. Xian said
” Thank you sir.. Violet bowed before facing Jeffrey with her killer smile
” Let’s get to work” she said and he smiled
Work was hetic that evening but they were able to pull through

” d@mn tired” Violet fell on her bed heavily
Jeffrey had gone home and it was just her now… Her grandma was asleep too
She saw the bag Mrs Zhan gave her earlier and she went for it. She opened it and a gasp escape her mouth as she stared at the new cloths, lying neatly in the bag along with heels and bags
” Wow, I love you Mrs Zhan” She said, almost in tears
She emptied the content of the bag on her bed and a frown creased her forehead as she stared at one of the gowns she held
It was d@mn short!!
She dropped it and picked another but dropped it back too
She search through all the dresses but kept dropping them back
They were mostly mini gowns, bum shorts and strapless tops
” Make sure you seduce a lot of guys” She recalled Mrs Zhan’s words and she grinned
” She’s unbelievable…” She muttered slumping on her bed and that way, she slept off

Li’s mansion
Xue picked up his phone and dialed a number on his phone. After the third ring, the person picked up
? How many of them did well? He asked
? Majority of them sir …
Mr. George replied from his end
? Have you sent the results to them already? Xue asked
? No sir..
? Let’s call off the results.. I’m cancelling this year’s exam…
? But Sir…
? Just do as I said.. Xue said and ended the call
Ryan sighed from where he stood at the door
He didn’t mean to eavesdrop, he was just gonna get something from his dad’s study when he overhead the conversation
He closed the door and turned back to the direction of his room
After stressing me, he’s just gonna council the results? He’s so unbelievable.. he thought as he sat on his bed

~~ MONDAY
” Aren’t you nervous” Jeffrey asked
” Nervous? Why? ” Violet asked back
” It’s your first day in college ” he replied
” I’m not… Why should I ? She asked picking on her nails
She was d@mn nervous!!
” Don’t worry, you have me” Jeffrey smiled and she nodded
” You look…. Beautiful ” he complimented, his eyes roaming her body
” Thanks ” She replied before turning to her Grandmother
” Grandma” She called tearfully
” Don’t cry princess , I’m proud of you ” Granny Pamela hugged her tight
” You shouldn’t be late on your first day ” Her grandmother said, disengaging from the hug
” Take care of yourself okay? ” She added
” And you too granny, I love you ” She planted a kiss on her grandma’s forehead and waved at her before walking out of the house with Jeffrey
” You’ve grown up well…. I hope they’re no longer after your life ” Granny Pamela sigh
