Violet entered the class but didn’t find Ryan. She turned and started going to his hostel since she knew he’ll be there
She had planned to come to school early that morning but somehow, she missed the first bus
She was about taking a turn when Mara appeared infront of her
” How may I help you?” She asked staring at Mara who was now glaring at her
” you shouldn’t waste your time talking to Bîtches, just slapped her for standing on your way”.. Remy said from behind and they both turned to his direction
” Hey, how’s Ryan? Is he okay?” Violet asked, walking to him
” Tch, can’t believe you scholarship, Do I look like a keeper or a watch man?” Remy pouted, walking to Mara
” I’ve told you this numerous times and I h@të repeating myself. You can try Sh|t with any other students but you see her, she’s a no go area. I won’t repeat myself again..” he said sternly before turning to Violet
” Check his hostel, He should be there… ” He said and she nodded before walking out on them.
” Mara Zhang..” he laughed. “I thought you were the only Stüpid person in your family but it seems your whole family and Li Xue are all Stüpid” he said and Mara only ball her fist tightly
” If you love your life, then tell your bald head man to call off the engagement if y’all don’t wanna die of poisoning” Remy said seriously and Mara shifted back
Why were they suddenly talking about poison? Were they serious with their threats?
” You know I don’t go back on my words… I’ll make sure you see the gate to Hades on that day” he said and walk away bumping into Mara and she fell to the ground.

” Ryan.. ” Violet hugged him as soon as he opened the door and he reciprocate the hug
” I made you worried right?” He asked stroking her hair gently and she nodded.
” I was so scared. Lucky charm made me knew something wasn’t right..” she said and he disengaged from the hug
” Lucky charm? What’s that?”
” Gosh, I’m glad you’re okay.. ” she said instead, hugging him again
” Did you have breakfast? Should I cook something for you?” She asked but he shooked his head in denial
” I just want to see your face, that should be enough..” he said and she smiled
” Can I?” He asked while she gave him a long stare, not understanding what he meant
” I mean this ” he said, crashing his lips on hers. She smiled shortly before responding to the kiss.
He kissed her slowly and passionately, pouring his emotions into the kiss
” I love you Violet, you alone. Never doubt my love for you okay?” He said, caressing her cheeks and she nodded smiling broadly.

Remy walked to class and waved at his friends before going to sit with them. Claire kept looking round the class and coincidentally, their eyes met.
” Jeez.. ” she muttered, looking away immediately as her heart skipped beats
” Why Remy of all people? Why? ” She scolded herself.
She placed her head on her desk and started sobbing slowly. She didn’t like how her heart was messing with her
” Good morning, where’s Violet?” Yixuan asked, standing in front of Jeffrey
” I think she’s with Ryan..” he replied
” Are you alright?” Yixuan asked
” Why? ”
” I know you love her and….
” Nothing to worry about. The feelings weren’t mutual…. She has always seen me as her brother and friend and I’m very okay it now though”.. he said and Yixuan smiled
” Alright.. take care” she smiled again before walking back to her seat.
She was very happy that Jeffrey had finally let go of his feelings for Violet.
She was still smiling broadly when Mr George walked in
” Good morning young misters and miss, We received a notice that exams will commence in three days time though we don’t know the reason for the sudden rush …
‘ Wait, is Xue doing all this because of the engagement?’ Remy wondered
” Did something happen?” Reece asked after seeing his expression
” My old man wants to engage Mara with Ryan ”
” What???!!” His friends shouted at once and the whole class turned to their direction
” Is anything the problem?” Mr George asked
” No Sir.. it’s nothing..” Reece laughed
? Why the rush?
? What is chairman Li planning?
” Where is Ryan? ” Mr George finally asked Remy
” Jeez, Why is everyone asking me that? Do I look like his keeper?” He grumbled
” I have no idea..” he replied
” You all need to prepare for the exam and I wish you all success..” Me George said and exited the class
” Are you serious? I don’t understand, Was your dad drunk?” Reece asked and Remy just shrugged
” I think he has lost his mind. Can’t believe Ryan even said he’ll kill him..” Remy laughed.
” Quiet people are always dangerous.. ” Justin said
” Quiet? Who? Ryan? ” He laughed again. ” Give that award to someone else please not Ryan. That dude is supposed to go be a broadcaster on a TV show or a radio station.. he talks alot accompanied with his stubbornness” Remy said
” Really? Ryan is like that?” Fargo asked while he nodded
” Y’all just haven’t seen that part of him…” He said
” If that’s the case, I’m sure he’ll find a way to stop the engagement himself.. Reece said
” Is something going on between him and Violet?” Justin asked
” Well, they’re into each other but dating each other, is what I don’t know..” Remy replied.
” I thought you liked her..” Fargo asked
” Yeah, that wîtch Bewîtched me but thank goodness I was able to deliver myself from her spell” he replied and his friends laughed
” Should we just go home? I’m kind of tired. My old man wouldn’t allow me sleep in peace..”
” Yeah, let’s go ” his friends agreed
They stood up and left the class.. Claire stare at them till they were out of sight
” Fûçk you..” she cursed, holding her chest as if to stop her heart from beating
