AVERY’S POV
We’re in the bedroom, on the bed together, I rested on his chest and his legs locking mine, studying together.
After eating a lot of food, I didn’t feel comfortable.
My stomach’s growling, my throat’s watery and bitter.
I seriously feel like throwing up.
“Rex!” I stood up and ran to the toilet closet then puked and puked and puked repeatedly, vomiting all the food I ate earlier.
“Babe.” Rex ran to me “Are you okay?”
I nodded as I stood up and washed my mouth.
“I think we should go to the hospital. Now.” Rex suggested.
I sighed “No, we don’t have time for that, we need to study for tomorrow’s presentation. Besides I’m super tired and I can’t go anywhere.”
“Well at least you should take some malaria drugs and get some rest, then we’ll study tomorrow morning.” Rex suggested.
“Fine.” I sighed as we went back to the bathroom and used some drugs and we went to sleep.
*THE NEXT MORNING**5:00*
I woke up dizzy, with Rex’s arm around me, making me to feel safe.
I sat up right and took my marketing textbook.
Rex hugged my laps and lay his head on them.
I smiled as I caressed his sweet face, then went back to my studies, opened my laptop and edited some videos for advertising.
Three hours later, Rex’s still asleep, I stood up and went to the bathroom, got undressed and turned on the shower and started bathing with soap.
Rex walked in without knocking and I didn’t even bother.
He kissed my neck with a smirk “Good morning baby.”
I blushed “Morning sweetheart.”
He hugged my waist, making my naked body to press his, and I’m still not in the mood.
He bit his lower lip, giving me his seductive eyes.
I gently pushed him away, feeling uncomfortable.
“What’s wrong?” Rex asked, looking confused.
I sighed angrily “I’m just tired of having sëx with you everytime, I’m not in the mood right now, can’t we just at least spend a week without having sëx?”
Rex looked sad “I’m sorry, it I’m making uncomfortable.” He said and walked out of the bathroom.
“Rex…”
I sighed sadly as I continued my bath. After bathing, I came out of the bathroom, Rex walked passed me and entered the bathroom without stealing a glance at me.
I really feel bad for talking to him like that.
I applied some lotions on my skin, wore my floral spaghetti straps dress with slit, my black off-shoulder hoodie, and my embroidered flowers black velvet slippers.
I fixed my long hair curly and silky, I applied some lip gloss.
Rex came out, wet, with white towel hanging dangerously around his waist, water dripping on his chest, from his hot wet hair.
I gulped “Rex, I’m sorry for what I said…”
He held my shoulders “Shhhh.” He shushed me “Don’t ever apologize to me. I understand that you’re not in the mood.”
I smiled and hugged him tightly “I love you.”
He ran his hands through my hair “I love you too, Baddie.”
Baddie is my nickname from Rex. Because I dress like one.
We disengaged and shared a passionate kiss.
We left the penthouse and entered his back Bugatti and he drove off to school.
*SUNLAKE UNIVERSITY*
We entered the class, holding our hands tightly.
I smiled at Adelaide and Yolanda “Hey guys.”
“Hey babe.”
“Sup.”
“Sugar, I’ll be right back.” I said as I sat beside them.
Adelaide frowned “Girl, are you okay? You look pale and skinny.”
“Yeah, even your big B@@bs are deflating.” Yolanda laughed.
I scoffed “I’m fine, I think it’s fever.”
“You sure?” Adelaide asked.
“Or are you pregnant?” Yolanda whispered.
“Right?!”
I felt some shock and scoffed nervously “Come on girls, I can’t be pregnant, I’m 19 years old. I’m totally not ready, besides I need to be a woman boss before thinking about having children.”
“You know, there’re a lot of women out there who has children and still made it in life.” Adelaide shrugged.
“She has a point, Avery.” Yolanda added.
I sighed “I don’t know, people are different. I still need full focus okay, so if you think I can get pregnant now, clear that thought and let me focus.”
“Wh@tëver girl.” Yolanda rolled her eyes.
“Just go to the hospital for checkup and confirmation, because you and Rex have been doing it lately without thinking that you’ll have a child.” Adelaide said monotonously.
I rolled my eyes “Fine, I’ll do some checkup after school and prove you guys wrong.”
“Duhh.” Yolanda and Adelaide scoffed.
I noticed Rex’s starring at me. I stood up and say beside him and lay my head on his shoulder.
GIANNA’S POV
I stood beside the class, glaring at Avery and Rex.
I’ll make sure I separate those two today and I have the perfect plan and Kylie’s helping me.
I threatened her to help me.
Remembering that painful prom night gave me a smart idea.
I smirked evilly as I walked away.
AVERY’S POV
“Morning students.” Mrs Jason walked in “Time for your presentations. Bring out your products you wanna advertise.”
I brought out my laptop, others brought out their stuffs.
Some presented and advertised their projects and it was impressive.
It was about to reach my turn and I gulped nervously, because this is the last exam for university life.
Some business man and woman walked in.
“Oh, students, please welcome Mr and Mrs Carmichael, Damville richest CEOs.” Mrs Jason introduced and we clapped.
They stood by the side of the class, watching us presenting.
It reached my turn and I came out with my laptop and the cosmetics I made last week.
That’s what I want to be. The owner of a cosmetic company.
I stood in front of the class as I connected my laptop with the projector.
“Hi everyone, I’m Avery Trent and I present you my latest product. A’Very Glow Skin Care.” I said as the video showed the logo of my upcoming company.
“As you can see, A’Very Glow Skin Care is the name of my business, I produce cosmetics like face mask, cleanser, face cream, scrub, lotion and so on.” I explained, displaying all the stuff I made up.
“They make your skin, soft, glow, smooth and spotless, so get some A’Very Glow product to make a better Glow up.” I presented and everyone applauded, especially Rex, Adelaide and Yolanda.
I grinned happily, knowing I’m gonna pass this exam.
“Very good Miss Trent. Next.” Mrs Jason said and I went back to my seat.
Rex put his arm around me “Nice one Baddie.”
I blushed.

After the exam presentation, everyone came out of the class.
Rex went to the bathroom, Adelaide and Yolanda went to library to study. I’m done with my exams forever.
I grinned happily that I’m done with school, I have to celebrate.
“Excuse me! Miss Trent.” Mr and Mrs Carmichael called me.
I smiled nervously “Good morning Mr and Mrs Carmichael. It’s a pleasure to meet you.” I greeted because they’re my role model.
“We’re very impressed by your presentation.” Mrs Carmichael said.
I grinned happily “Really? Thanks!”
“How about you let us help start your business? Then in few months, you become a successful business woman.” Mrs Carmichael suggested.
“Seriously?”
“Yes. We’re employing you to our company, we’ll pay you enough amount to start your own very business then if you’re successful enough, you’ll have your freedom. So what did you say?” Mr Carmichael explained.
“Are you interested?” Mrs Carmichael asked.
I scoffed happily “Really? Is there any effect?”
“No, not at all. As long as you didn’t have children yet just this year and I know you can’t do it yet, because you’re passionate and you’re like 17 or 18. You can’t have kids at a tender age.” Mrs Carmichael scoffed.
I scoffed happily “I’m totally interested. Thank you so much.”
“You’re welcome. Here’s the form, you’ll submit it next week Monday.” Mr Carmichael said as his wife gave me a form.
I grinned happily “Thank you so so so much.”
I can’t wait to tell Rex the exciting news. I’m so happy.
But where is he?
I dialled his number, instead he hung up, I called again, he hung up, I dialled like 5 times, same thing.
I frowned confusedly. That’s weird, he hasn’t hang up on me before.
I shrugged. Maybe he’s busy with something.
I left the school, to the parking lot, noticed his Bugatti is gone. Did he leave me behind? What’s going on?
I sighed as I stopped a taxi, entered the cab and he drove off to the nearest hospital.
I went to the doctor, did some checkups, waited in the doctor’s office, waiting for the result.
The nurse came in “Here’s your test result, ma’am.” She gave me the file.
I opened the paper and read it, “What?!!” I stood up in shock.
The doctor smiled “Congratulations ma’am. You’re 3 weeks pregnant.”
I shook my head, scoffing, trying not to believe I’m pregnant “No, no, no, I can’t be pregnant, I’m 19, I have a big dream opportunity to fulfill and I don’t want to get pre… There must be some mistake. Let’s try again.”
“Sorry ma’am, but you’re pregnant.” The doctor said.
“No!!!” I cried “Please. Don’t say that, I’m still trying to live my life before having children.”
“Okay, but…”
“Stop it!!” I cried bitterly as I ran out of the office and sat in the bathroom, crying bitterly.
I don’t wanna be pregnant now. Why us my life like this? I can’t believe I’m pregnant. I’m not ready to be a mom.
Gosh, what have I done into my life? I’m doomed.
