“How can you both do that? For crying out loud you are siblings!” Connor yelled at a sobbing Fiona not caring if they were at the hospital.

“Didn’t you even strange? Didn’t you feel weird kissing and holding each other? This is crazy” Connor bit out again just as Tessa came to pull him away.

“You’ve got to calm down” Tessa said.

“Calm down? You are asking me to stay calm when I just found out that my two youngest siblings are dating each other? It’s incest!” Connor said starring at Fiona.

“I know it’s something hard for you to bear, it was also hard for me too and that’s why I insisted on telling you but then… Frederick fell down the stairs and now….let’s just set other things aside and worry about Frederick, he’s being operated on” Tessa told him and when he tried to say something, she put her hand on his cheek hoping he will let things die down for now which he did.

“What happen to my grandson?” A worried Granny Susie ran towards them accompanied by Cynthia, Chris and Blair.

“The doctors are with him right now? We’ve got to wait for them to finish” Tessa was the one who answered.

“What you said while leaving in the ambulance? Is it really true?” Granny Susie asked Connor who nodded in return.

Granny Susie began sobbing real hard which got Tessa moving to her.

“I thought It was a lie when Granny told us but then it’s actually true? I mean how can you be in love with your brother? That’s disgusting ” Blair said this while starring at Connor

“As soon as we know how Frederick condition is….you will be leaving for Australia” Connor said to Fiona.

“Why does she have to leave when she isn’t the only one at fault?” Cynthia asked as she move towards Fiona.

“Cynthia” Chris called slowly.

“Am sorry Chris but I tried. I really gave her the chance to speak but it seems like she intends to keep her mouth shut” Cynthia said while starring at Granny Susie.

“We are talking about something very important, so save wh@tëver you have to say for another time” Blair intercepted but Cynthia ignored her.

“Not too long ago. The private investigator I hired called to inform me about my missing sister. After years of searching, he finally found her” Cynthia began.

“Really? Am so glad ” Tessa let out in happiness cause she knew how much that meant to Cynthia.

“And who’s your sister?” Chris asked having a suspicious look on him.

“My sister is….”

“Shut up! Shut that darn mouth of yours!” Granny Susie yelled startling her grand children.

“Why? You don’t want your family to find out about what you did?” Cynthia asked which got a frown appearing on granny Susie face.

“What’s she talking about Granny?” Fiona asked just as the ER door open revealing the doctor.

“How’s my Grandson?” Granny Susie asked worriedly.

“He’s stable but we need blood donors since he’s lost a lot of blood while the operation was on” The doctor told them.

“Am his twin sister, I can donate my blood” Fiona said quickly.

“Most of us here are his siblings, we can surely donate….”

“You can’t!” Granny Susie yelled suddenly.

“Why can’t we donate blood. It’s not like we are contagious granny” Blair let out airily.

“I said you can’t donate! The doctor will find a way to get him blood but none of you must donate ”

“Why do you Insist on us not donating?” Chris asked.

“That’s because Frederick blood is a rare type and….”

“Will you just tell them the truth! Do you know how many people lives you’ve ruined by your actions?” Cynthia intercepted which got everyone’s eye on her.

“What’s wrong Cynthia?” Tessa asked.

“Fiona and Frederick isn’t a part of your family” Cynthia said startling everyone.

“Fiona turns out to be the sister have been looking for while Frederick is a child from another woman. Am I wrong?” Cynthia asked Granny Susie who could only shed tears in return.

^^ A Week Later ^^

As soon as the door open, Frederick sat up hoping for it to be the person he’s been waiting for but he was disappointed when Chris appeared.

“How’s the sick boy doing today?” Chris asked as he put down the bag he bought.

“Dried up. Like when would I be discharged and why isn’t Fiona coming to see me?” Frederick asked which got Chris sighing in return.

“I know that whenever you sigh like that something has happened. Has Fiona been sent away? Is that why she hasn’t come to see me yet? I know you all are angry about our relationship but then…we love each other” Frederick added.

“Tch! That still sound strange in my ears” Chris muttered as he picked up his bag.

“Are you leaving? Why aren’t you telling me a thing? What is it that you are hiding?” Frederick asked and at that moment Granny Susie came into the room.

“Thank God you are here Granny. No one’s telling me a thing even though I know that something is…”

“I will tell you everything ” Granny Susie said which got him starring at her.

“Yes. Let her tell you everything since she began this whole sordid mess” Chris said giving her a angry look before storming out of the room.

“Is Chris mad at you?” Frederick asked which got her nodding in return.

“Not only is Chris angry at me, everyone else and I totally deserve it” Granny Susie said before seating on a chair.

“You will end up being angry at me too” She added as she took hold of his hand.

“What’s wrong?” A worried Frederick asked.

“It all began eighteen years ago. Your parents were in the brink of ending their marriage when your mother found out that she’s pregnant with twins”

“The twins were a miracle baby for us since it prevented their break up and brought them close to each other. We were all excited and when it was time for your mom to put to birth, we were expectant but then….Both twins died” She said having a wistful look on her face.

“Your father had left for one of his business trip and so I was left with your mom. I knew how devasted she will be once she found out about the twins death, I didn’t want that for her and so….and so I payed the nurses to get me two new born babies” she said with tears in her eyes.

“The two babies is Fiona and I right?” Frederick asked and she nodded in return.

“You were a baby giving birth to by a single mother and Fiona…Fiona turns out to be Cynthia sister”

“Cynthia as in miss Cynthia?” Frederick asked slowly.

“I know you must be hurt and heartbroken but I didn’t want your parents marriage to end that was why I had to do what I did back then”

“You are right by saying that am hurt since have always believed myself to be a Hank but am not heartbroken, infact am happy that Fiona isn’t my sibling and neither am I her’s” Frederick said.

“Like you said, you did it to protect our parents marriage. I can’t judge and neither would I blame you since you thought it was the best for everyone. I am glad that everyone knows the truth and if possible, I would like to know more about my birth mother. Will that be possible granny?” Frederick asked and she gave a nod while wiping her tears.

“Stop crying. It’s all going to be fine” Fredrick said as he pulled her into his arms letting out a relieved sigh while thinking about one thing which is that Fiona is not his sister.

“Are you sure about this? You really don’t have to do it if you aren’t ready” Cynthia said to Fiona as they both stood in front of a door.

“I want to and besides…the earlier I start to know more about my real family, the better for us. You told me mom have been sick ever since I was…stolen away” Fiona hesitated a bit before continuing. ” It’s only right that I see her now and help her get well” Fiona replied which got Cynthia giving her a hug.

“Thanks sweetie” Cynthia said before opening the door for her.

“Look who have brought back mom, it’s my little sis” Cynthia said and the woman standing by the window turned to stare at them.

Your daughter is here, mom” Cynthia said as she watch mother and Daughter walk towards each other.

“Is it really my Sophie?” A crying Tracy asked as she held onto Fiona’s face.

“It is” Fiona replied which got her being pulled into her mother arms.

“You have no idea how much have missed you”Tracy cried out while Fiona familiarize herself with her mother’s smell.

Quietly, Cynthia left the room to give mother and daughter some time alone.

Pulling out her phone, she checked the message she had sent to Chris three days ago.

He still haven’t read it…she thought as she called his number only to receive no response.

Chris have never left her call unanswered but ever since what happened, he’s been ignoring her. She would have gone to check up on him but she’s been busy taking care of Fiona.

She will just have to find the time to speak to him.

Tessa was heading to the cafeteria with some of her colleague when she noticed Edward.

“You guys should go on, I will join you soon” Tessa said just as Edward approach her.

“Why are you here?”

“To see you. I got this while thinking of you” he said stretching a box of chocolates to her.

“Thanks but I don’t have a sweet tooth” she replied refusing the gift.

“How are you doing?” Edward asked.

“Shouldn’t you be asking Connor that? After all you are his friend” she replied smoothly.

“I don’t care about Connor… I only care about you” Edward stated.

“I thought I made myself clear on that ”

“Clear as In that you are married and you love Connor? Don’t make me laugh Tessa. Connor is too weak for you, he is too weak to take care of and protect you. Am pretty sure that when something occurs, he will let you go easily which is why am here for you” Edward said moving towards her but she move away from him.

“You must be sick cause If you aren’t sick then you would accept my answer and get lost” she insulted earning a angry look from him.

“Mind your words, Tessa” he growled out slowly.

“A girl only wants a man who fits her in every way but you don’t even fit the bill at all. The only thing you make me feel is disgust” she said walking off leaving him starring after her.

“Why did you call for me? You already know that the issue going on in my family is already hard on me” Blair said as she went to join Edward in his seat.

“Hard on you? Don’t make me laugh. You are someone who only care about yourself!” Edward said as he drain his whiskey.

“If you are only going to mock me then Its best that I leave” She said standing up.

“There’s a change of plan ” Edward said which got her turning back to him.

“What change?”

“You told me to help you get rid of Tessa but I plan on making her mine” Edward stated remembering the last thing Tessa said to him.

“Don’t tell me that you’ve also fallen in love with Tessa?” Blair asked.

“Love? I don’t do love” he said having a cynical look on him. ” I want Tessa, have never wanted a woman as much as I want her and I won’t fail in having her” Edward stated.

“I don’t just know what you guys see in that girl? First it was Seven and now you? Does she goes around with some sort of charm?” Blair huffed out angrily.

“I don’t know about the charm but what I do know is that I want Tessa, In my arms and in my bed. I will get to show her just how much I fit the bill” He stated fiercely.

“Do you have something in mind?”

“I do. I do know of a way to get her to divorce Connor and also to get her into coming straight to my arms” Edward replied looking like the obsessed man he is….
