^^ Hanks Family Home ~ Next Day ^^
Tessa woke up to find the side of the bed empty.
There was no trace of Connor and it dawned on her that after their talk last night, he left and he hasn’t returned.
She got out of bed feeling worried, she was about to call when he came into the room.
“Where were you? I was so worried” she said as she went to him but he ignored her.
“Go get ready. We need to leave” he ordered briskly.
“But why? Where are we going?” Tessa asked which got him turning to her.
“You will know soon. Just go and get ready” he said which got her doing as he said.
A while later, she sat beside him in the car while he drove them down town.
As soon as they stop in front of the court house, Tessa knew what he had in mind.
“Do you still intend to do this?” Tessa asked and not bothering to give her a reply, he got out of the car and pulled her out.
“I won’t do it! I won’t grant you a divorce” she said stubbornly.
“Don’t make this hard for either of us Tessa! I thought so hard about it and that’s why I came to this conclusion”
“A conclusion which doesn’t suit us. I know you are doing it for the company but try to think of us too” Tessa pleaded.
“I can’t afford to do that. Have made up my mind, don’t change it” Connor said as he pulled her into the court house.
They were led into a room which had a lady in her late fifties.
“Once you sign this, then you will officially be divorced” the lady said as she presented them a docvment.
Tessa watch as Connor pick up the pen to sign into it without hesitation.
“Aren’t you going to sign yours ma’am?” The lady asked and slowly Tessa picked up her pen to sign too.
“You both are now officially divorced. Once the docvment is ready, It will be sent to you Mr Hank” the lady said and not being able to stand it, Tessa hurriedly left the room.

Chris stood in front of Cynthia office wondering if he should go in or not.
“You didn’t come to see Cynthia…you are only here to ask about Fiona” Chris whispered to himself before bracing him self.
Knocking on the door, he went in only to see Cynthia talking to another teacher.
She was laughing at something he said before he interrupted them.
“Am sorry, I just came to ask miss Cynthia a question” Chris invented quickly.
“And what sort of question does the school most brilliant student have to ask her?” The teacher said knowing about Chris.
“It’s personal sir” Chris replied hoping he will get the message and leave.
“Fine then. I will leave you two to talk about the personal stuff but don’t forget our date tonight…I will book the restaurant and send you the address” the teacher said to Cynthia before leaving the room.
“What date is he talking about?” Chris asked the first thing that came to mind.
“What brings you here?” Cynthia said choosing to ignore him.
“Well I…have been meaning to talk to Fiona but she’s been absent”
“She wanted to take a week break from school to get use to us and so I allowed it since its something she needs. Right now she’s at the hospital with my mom ” Cynthia replied.
“Anything else?” Cynthia asked looking like the twenty three year old teacher she is.
“Well I…”
“If you have nothing to say, I suggest you leave since I need to prepare for my next class” Cynthia interrupted.
Getting out of her seat, she went to open the door for him but instead of leaving he shut the door and turned to her.
Unknown to the him, the door didn’t close completely.
“I asked you a question earlier” Chris said which got her folding her arms against her chest.
“Do I have to answer? I thought you said we should stay away from…” A gasp left her lungs when he pulled her against him.
“I did but now, I can see that I made the wrong decision. Wh@tëver date you are having with that old gizzard should be cancelled” Chris stated.
“I just can’t… What are you doing!” Cynthia let out airily when he pulled down her zipper.
” I’d rather have you here with me rather than to have you go out with any man”
“Are you crazy we are in…” She stop suddenly as she felt his hand on her B@@bs.
“I want you Cynthia…you have no idea how much have missed you” he said his head swoop down to claim her lips.
He lifted her back to the desk where he made her seat on it before trailing kisses down her neck while she buried her face against his chest, liking the faint smell that emanate from him.
When his hand slid under her skirt, she knew she had to stop him though it took a lot of will power.
“We can’t do this… We are at school” she said and immediately he rearrange her clothe and set her on her feet.
“Am sorry. I let my hormone get the best of me” he apologise.
“You don’t have to apologise, I also enjoyed every bit of it” she said in return.
Moving towards him, she took hold of his hand and gave it a kiss.
“I know you are feeling guilty for my sake and for Fiona sake but you don’t have to, none of this is your fault and neither is it mine”
“Your granny thought it was the right decision for your parents and that’s why she did it. So stop carrying the burden in your heart and try to be happy for me and for everyone. If this hadn’t happen then, I wouldn’t have met you ” Cynthia added as she wrap her arms around his waist.
“I love you Chris and I don’t think I can spend the rest of my life without you” she confessed.
“Me neither” Chris said as he pulled her to him.
“Am sorry for telling us to stay apart from each other…I was a fool and…” A kiss from her got him keeping shut.
“Don’t you ever break things off with me again or I swear, I will end things between us for good” Cynthia said starring up at him with so much love.
His reply was to give her a kiss in return, they both stood in each other arms oblivious to someone standing at the door way recording them.

^^ Cynthia Apartment ^^
Melody took to her heels covering up the distance which led to Cynthia house.
“Tessa” Melody called as soon as she got in.
“I heard about the divorce” Melody said as she went to join Tessa on the sofa she was lying on.
“Are you okay?” Melody asked as Tessa sat up.
“It hurts…it hurts a lot” Tessa said in between sobs and Melody have her hug, wanting to give her a hug.
When Tessa stopped her tears, Melody was about to ask if she could prepare something for her when they heard a knock on the door.
“I will go get it!” Melody said as she quickly went to the door.
“Is Miss Tessa at home?” A man in black asked.
“Who are you?” Melody asked in return.
“Just answer me! Is she here or not?”
“She’s not and so…what are you doing!” Melody yelled when he walk past her into the house with two other men trailing after him.
“Who are you?” Tessa asked.
“Get her” the man said to the other men who quickly held onto Tessa.
“Let her go! Let her go!” Melody yelled trying to stop them but the man stopped her.
“We’ve been given orders to bring her, so step aside if you don’t want to be hurt”
“You think am scared of you, you big oaf …let my sister go!” Melody yelled at him in return.
“Melody, it’s okay. I will be fine” Tessa said as she motion for her to come which she did.
Tessa slip a wrapped up paper into her hand.
“Let him know what happened” Tessa said to Melody before being pulled off by the men.

“Walk!” One of the men said as they push her towards a big yatch.
“Welcome my princess!” Edward greeted as soon as she got into the yatch.
“These thugs must have frightened you” Edward said as he walk towards her.
“Why did you bring me here?” Tessa asked fiercely.
“To console you after all you just had your divorce today” Edward answered.
“I don’t need your consoling, I want to leave” Tessa said but he took hold of her hand and pulled her to him.
“Are they on board ” he asked his men who nodded in return.
“Then start this thing, I have a wedding to begin” Edward said while Tessa stared at him.
“What wedding?” She asked feeling a bit agitated.
“Our wedding my love ” he replied.
“You must be crazy right!” She yelled at him.
“Yes. I am crazy about you”
“Am not getting married to you! I don’t want to do this” Tessa said trying to leave but he lifted her into his arms and straight to a room which had two ladies there.
“Make her look pretty. She’s the lucky girl am getting married to” he said to the ladies and when he turned to leave, Tessa took hold of his hand.
“I don’t want to do this… I don’t love you” she said and he pulled her roughly toward him.
“I already that but then it’s either you marry me or I ruin Connor’s company for good” Edward whispered into her ear before leaving the room.
A while later, she walk out of the cabin dressed in a white skirt and jacket and straight to Edward and some people.
“Come my love, they will be the one to marry us” He said introducing her to the judge and witness he hired.
“Am glad you made the right decision” he whispered for her ears alone before the judge began the ceremony.
When it was time for her to sign the docvment, she hesitated a bit but then she ended up signing it since it will keep Connor save.
“I now pronounce you man and Wife, you may kiss the bride” the judge said.
Tessa didn’t want him kissing her but with his fingers biting into her arm, she had no choice but to open to him and when it finally ended, she felt disgusted by it.
“Since we don’t have guest, we move onto the next thing” he said softly.
“Which is what?”
“Our first night together” he replied and lifted her into his arms taking her to a different cabin.
“Edward…I think we should give our self the time to know each other more” Tessa said as she move away from him trying to keep her distance.
“We don’t need to that now since we have the rest of our lives waiting for us” Edward replied as he walk towards her.
“But I still think that we should give each other the….” She gasp out when he pulled her to him making her feel his manhood.
“Do you see how much I want you right now my dear wife…so stop trying to stop the inevitable and let’s make love” he whispered the last part into her ear.
“I don’t want to… I don’t want you touching me, I feel disgusted” she said and that got him angry.
“Don’t worry, you will end up getting used to it” he ground out and began to pull off her button while she tried to stop him.
“Let me go, please. Let go of me!” Tessa screamed when he began kissing her throat.
He pushed her down on the bed and came over her before she could pull away.
Tessa scream got muffled up when he kissed her again.
Just then she heard someone footsteps and before she knew it, Edward was pulled out of her arms.
“Are you okay?” Connor asked as he help off the bed and immediately she wrap her arms around him.
“What took you so long” Tessa sob against his chest just as Edward got off the floor.
“It’s too late, Connor. Tessa is mine now, we are married!” Edward said triumphantly.
“I doubt that since you’ve been fooled” Connor said just as the judge and the witness from earlier walked in accompanied by the police.
“What’s going on?” Edward asked.
“When I say you’ve been fooled, I mean that you’ve been totally fooled since the judge and witness are all a fake” Connor replied.
“So your wedding with Tessa is also a fake. You been totally fooled you dummy!” Connor said having the triumphant look on him.
