“Dad,he made me feel loved after a very long time, have fun, be myself, I can’t do without him, I can’t believe he is gone” Ocean cried.
“Dad, stay with me, don’t leave me too” She cried and turned to leave.
Suddenly the heart monitor stopped and started making a noise, she turned back, his heartbeat was dropping.
“Dad, dad” She faced him in tears.
“Dad, don’t leave me too,” Ocean yelled.
The doctor and nurses rushed into the room.
“Please miss, leave the room” The nurses insisted and Ocean left the room.
“You can’t leave me too, dad please” Ocean cried loudly.
She squatted crying uncontrollably after a few minutes the doctor came out.
She rose up to her feet.
“Doctor, how is he?” Ocean asked desperately.
“I am sorry” He began.
“You are what?” Ocean asked and held his collar.
“I am sorry we lost him” He completed and tears knew no bounds in her eyes.
She released his collar and cried the more, it seemed like a dream.
Quincy came and rushed to her.
“Ara, how is your father?Why didn’t you wait for me?” Quincy asked, holding her shoulders.
“Ocean, talk to me” Quincy shook her.
“Dad is dead!” Ocean sobbed loudly.
“Dad is dead!!!” Ocean almost tumbled to the floor but Quincy held on to her.
“I am so sorry” Quincy said teary eyed.
Both of them bent low to the floor with the ocean crying in her arms.
“I am so sorry, Ara, I am so sorry” Quincy cried hugging her tightly.
“I am so alone now,” Ocean cried uncontrollably.

Rhett held Vikita’s hand, she looked like she was sleeping.
“Mom please wake up” Rhett said softly.
“Please, don’t make my heart ache too” Rhett pleaded and held her hand, he kissed her knuckles and smiled.
“I promise to be a better person from now on,” Rher promised.
“I will try my best to turn a new leaf, please stay alive and watch me do everything I am promising” Rhett smiled sadly.
Ocean kept crossing his mind every minute, he couldn’t seem to forget her for a second.
“Don’t make promises you can’t keep,” Marcello said, interrupting his thoughts.
Rhett left Vikita’s hand and turned back to face him.
“I didn’t come all the way from the Phillipines to argue with an imbecile like you” Rhett snarled at him.
“Rhett you have always been a black sheep of the family and you can never change” Marcello said egoistically.
“Just wait and watch, how I snatch everything from you” Rhett said seriously, they were exchanging glares at each other.
Rhett walked out of the room and saw Nikita standing at a distance wearing a face mask.
“Uncle Rhett!!!” Nikita screamed, she ran to him and hugged his legs.
“I missed you uncle Rhett” Nikita giggled, Rhett carried her up.
Marcello came out and stood in front of them …
“You have gained some weight, baby girl” Rhett smiled and kissed her cheek.
“Nay… I haven’t, I lost weight, my cheeks aren’t chubby anymore” Nikita pouted.
“I missed you ” Rhett smiled and kissed her cheek.

“Nikita!!” Marcello yelled and she kept quiet.
“I don’t like you dad, don’t talk to me, I love uncle Rhett instead ” Nikita smiled, she kissed Rhett’s cheek and stuck out her tongue at her dad.

Marcello threw her hand off his neck and adjusted his collar.
