“But why? Why will you leave a luxurious hotel to come stay here?” Sierra ask after his announcement of him being her neighbour.
“I’m just trying to test waters. If you think am doing it for an ulterior motive then you are…”
“I think there’s an ulterior motive for this approach of yours and it’s scaring me out and so, please can we keep our distance?” Sierra said and not waiting for a reply, she shut the door on his face.
Sierra lay on her bed that night, finding it hard to sleep.
If this was an action coming from a normal person, she would have been able to tell whoever it is off but it’s Luther Maxwell.
Not only is he her boss, he is also a psycho who will stop at nothing to get to her.
The thought of Luther kept disturbing her through the half of the other day, it even made her make a few mistake at work.
Deciding to take a break, she went to her only source of peace which is the rooftop.
Sierra had her phone in hand and was searching for a ways to get someone off her back when he joined her on the bench.
Startled, she made to leave but he took hold of her hand and place her usual coffee in it.
“Were you waiting for me to bring this?” Luther ask.
“I wasn’t. Just so you know this is my comfort zone and you are intruding” Sierra said quickly.
“Really? Then it’s my comfort zone too from now on ” he said, smiling at her.
“Have you forgotten what I told you last night?” Sierra demanded.
“What part exactly?” He ask, infuriating her.
“It’s best I leave” She said getting up.
“The keeping my distance thing. I can’t do it” He said suddenly which made her pause to stare at him.
“Have fallen too deep to let it go. So, don’t expect me to keep my distance from you, it’s the last thing I want to do”
“You do know that I have a boyfriend who am in love with” Sierra said.
“I know but you two aren’t suited for each other. You need a man like me and not a man like Bobby” Luther said, making her have mixed feeling. A feeling she couldn’t fathom.
She left without saying a word and luckily, he didn’t follow her like he did the last time.
It was evening and she was about to get off from work when she got a text from Bobby.
★ AM WAITING FOR YOU OUTSIDE, WANNA TAKE YOU OUT FOR DINNER ★
Reading the text, a smile lit her face and immediately, she left the nursing station heading to the hospital entrance.
But on her arrival, Luther was waiting by his car for her.
If she wants him to see reason then It’s best she do it now…. Sierra thought.
And that moment, Bobby showed up, waving and smiling at her.
Ignoring Luther, she ran into Bobby arms, giving him an intimate hug and slowly, she pulled back to pull his head down for a kiss.
A kiss which Bobby didn’t resist, they kept kissing until she heard him drive off.
“That was a hot welcome” Bobby said, smiling down at her.
“That’s because I miss you. Your job at the bank have been taking a lot of your time, I rarely see you” Sierra said as they walk hand in hand towards his car.
“Being an accountant isn’t easy. You need to bear with me. Have book us a seat at your favourite restaurant, I have something to tell you” Bobby said as she slid into the passenger seat.
“Can’t you just tell me now?” Sierra ask.
“Not until we get to the restaurant” Bobby said, kissing her lightly on the lips before getting into the driver seat.

“What did you just say?” Sierra ask, setting down her forkful of sushi to stare at Bobby.
“Marry me, Sierra. I want us married, I want to build a life with you and am sure you want the same, right?” Bobby ask.
“You know I do but isn’t it sudden? We’ve only started dating and…”
“We’ve only started dating but we’ve known each other for years. Ever since senior high days. Look, am travelling for a few days, it’s got to do with work. Promise me that you will think about it and give me an answer when I return” Bobby said, taking hold of her to kiss it lightly.
Bobby drop her in front of her apartment that night and after giving her a brief kiss on the cheek, he left.
Sierra took the stairs to the second floor , deep in thought. She was searching for her keys when she realise someone else was there.
“Had a lovely time with your boyfriend?” Luther question got her turning to where he stood.
“Were you waiting just to ask me that?”
“Been waiting here for the past one hour. You kissed him on purpose, right?” Luther ask.
“I did that to make you see reason. You need to understand that…” A gasp left her lips when he suddenly approach her, pinning her against the door.
“Didn’t I make it clear to you that you two aren’t suited for each other? Do you know how jealous I felt seeing you kissing that guy!” Luther yell down at her.
“I don’t about your feeling! All I want for you is to leave me alone” Sierra yell in return, it took her a lot of courage to say that.
“And don’t you get that I can’t do that? You are mine Sierra, mine alone” Luther said harshly before claiming her lips.
It was a brutal kiss, a kiss which got her hitting and kicking him but instead of letting her go, he lifted her by the waist and headed to his apartment.
He kept kissing her hungrily when they got into his apartment.
By now, Sierra was tired from fighting him, she let him explore her mouth while taking her to his bed room.
It wasn’t until he saw the tears in her eyes that he ended the kiss.
They were both standing in his room, breathing heavily.
He sat her down on his bed and left the room only to return with one of shoe, it must have slip off when he was carrying her.
She watch him put on the white sneakers for her before seating beside her.
He proceeded to wiping her tears before saying softly.
“Am sorry. I let my anger and jealousy get the best of me, something that never happened before, am sorry”
Together they left his apartment and it wasn’t until she was in her apartment that he left.
Sierra sat on her bed, relieving the kiss while touching her swollen lips.
In situation like this, most girls are meant to cry but she didn’t feel that way.
Instead, she felt lost.
She woke up quite early the next day, she was in the kitchen preparing coffee for herself when Sunny arrive.
“You didn’t go to work?” Sierra ask, taking in her friend outfit.
“I didn’t” Sunny reply, seating herself on the sofa.
“But you are working the night shift”
“Have had enough of the night shift, it’s the worst shift of all” Sunny said, smiling at her.
“So you spent the night out? Where exactly?” Sierra ask in concern.
“At a friend’s place. Stop questioning me, I have a right to go to wherever I want” Sunny said defensively.
“I know you do but could you at least let me know? What if something happen to you and I don’t know where you are? It’s going to make me sick with worry”
“Awwn…that’s why I love you a lot. You worry about me more than my mother does” Sunny said as she gave Sierra a hug while kissing her on the cheek.
“Now enough about me, tell me what’s been going on with you?” Sunny ask.
“Well…Bobby asked me to marry him” Sierra said.
“Really? What was your reply?”
“I…I told him I will think about it, it’s all so sudden and…I love Bobby but I don’t want to rush into something that will make me regret, you understand, right?” Sierra said and Sunny nodded though her thoughts have been mile away.
“It’s best you think about it. We need to get ready for work or we will be late, I will use the shower first” Sunny said as she drifted into her room.

<< UNITY HOSPITAL ~ AFTERNOON >>
Since there wasn’t any emergency, Sierra have been at her desk going through her phone.
Two message pop in at the same time, she click on the first one and read.
★ LOVE, MY TRIP IS TODAY. AM CURRENTLY FLYING OUT FOR A DEAL, WISH ME LUCK ★
Her lips tilt in a smile when she read Bobby’s text.
She then went on to read the second text.
★ IT’S ME, LUTHER. DON’T ASK ME HOW I GOT YOUR NUMBER, I JUST WANT TO TELL YOU THAT AM FLYING TO SINGAPORE FOR WORK TODAY AND I WANT YOU TO ACCOMPANY ME, REPLY AS SOON AS YOU SEE THIS ★
Sierra read his text over and over before letting out a resigned sigh.
“Of course it work. Remember the blind date my mom prepared for me, you know I didn’t want to go, right? I hired this so called agency and they arrange a girl to go on this date for me.And Let me tell you that this girl is one hell of a sëxy girl, she ended winning this guy heart and they are currently preparing for marriage. So don’t doubt my word and go ahead to hire their service, they provide the best girls” the nurse said walking past Sierra.
“Excuse me” Sierra call, earning her attention. “How can I get in touch with this agency?” Sierra ask.

During her lunch break, Sierra decided to visit the agency herself.
If she wants her plan to work then she must talk in person with the owner.
She will hire a very beautiful vixen and get her to go with Luther on his trip to Singapore.
Refusing him might lead to what happen last night and she didn’t want that which is why the lady she will be hiring will go in her stead. He might end up getting along with the girl and leave her alone.
A while later Sierra left the agency, smiling happily to herself.
Just like she wanted, the agency gave her a very beautiful lady who is also well endowed.
No man will be able to resist a sëxy vixen…Sierra thought as she sent a message to Luther.

It was evening time and she left the hospital without Sunny since she had something to do.
She was almost home when she got a call from Cassandra.
“Mission failed. He told me to get lost even when I tried to seduce him like you told me to” Cassandra said down the line.
“Oh no! Hope he didn’t do anything to you?”
“No. He only yelled at me to leave and that was when I tried to seduce him, he’s an handsome dude after all and before I forget….he left the airport and is coming for you, that was the last thing i heard him say before leaving “
Immediately Cassandra said that, Sierra ended the call and began to run down the rest of the streets.
The moment she got to her the building which house her apartment, she heard the arrival of a car.
A brief look at the back got her seeing a angry Luther getting out of his car.
“Oh no! Am dead” Sierra muttered……
