*5 YEARS AGO**FLASHBACK**A DAY TO THE PROM*
TEDDY’S POV
After I ironed my black tuxedo, hung it and put the red roses flower in the pocket, the rose matches Monica’s red dress.
She told me and Bianca what she’s wearing, I can’t wait to go to the prom party and for her to see me and like me.
I’m so excited, today is the the day I’ll confess my feelings, I already have the note.
“Evelyn, have you seen hair gel?” I yelled but she didn’t reply.
I haven’t heard from her since morning, I wonder why. Maybe she’s in school. I decided to skip school to get prepared.
My phone rang, I checked it and groaned. Stephanie. I picked up the call.
Teddy? Heyy babe, what’s up?
Stephanie ? Hey baby, I’m waiting outside your mansion.
Teddy? What?! -Checked outside the window and saw the sl*t standing in front of the entrance door- What are you doing here?
Stephanie? Can’t I pay my sweetheart a surprise visit?
Teddy? Boys h@të that, so stop!
Stephanie? I’m sorry, now you’re making me to feel bad.
Teddy? -sighs- Why are you here?
Stephanie? So that we can go to the party together.
Teddy? What party?
Stephanie? Hailey’s party Mia invited us to.
Teddy? Oh, lemme get ready. -hung up on Stephanie rudely-
I sighed sadly as I wore my white Gucci shirt, my white Levi’s jeans and my blue Louis Vuitton palm slippers.
I left the bedroom and headed straight to the living room. “Evelyn! I’m going to Hailey’s party!” I yelled.
Still no reply.
I shrugged as I left the mansion, met Stephanie looking like a sëx worker.
She smiled “Hey babe!” She wanted hug but I pushed her. “What’s wrong?”
“You want to go to the party or what?” I asked rudely.
Stephanie scoffed “Why are you acting like…?”
I ignored her as we entered my Bentley and drove off.
We arrived at Hailey’s house, we entered house which is noisy, full of people dancing, kissing, some are already having sëx.
I feel so uncomfortable in this party especially when I’m with Stephanie.
I ignored the feeling as I danced with her, drank with her and played a lot of games like poker, musical chairs, charades, twister and gift grab and so on.
So it was time for truth and dare, it started with blonde nerd to Stephanie.
The nerd smirked “Truth or dare.”
Stephanie rolled her eyes “Truth.”
“Is it true that you started being a wh*re since 6th grade?” She asked.
“Oh No!” “F*ck!” “Good one.” All of us shouted and wooed.
Stephanie became embarrassed “Excuse me? No!”
The nerd smirked evilly.
Stephanie scoffed as she looked at Justin “Truth or dare?”
“Dare.” Justin replied.
“I dare you to f*ck Diane in front of us.” Stephanie said, referring to the nerd.
“Excuse me?” Mia scoffed angrily.
The nerd stood up and ran out of the room. Stephanie stood up to stop her but I held her hand “Stop it Stephanie! Sit down!” I ordered.
Stephanie groaned angrily as she sat.
It was Mia’s turn to ask me. “Truth or dare?” Mia asked.
I shrugged “Dare.”
Mia smirked “Follow me.” She said as she stood up and everyone wooed.
I sighed as I stood up and followed her to an empty bedroom and I held my Taser, a shocking tool in my pocket for protection.
“What?” I asked.
“I dare you to R@PED Monica.” She said.
“What?!” I exclaimed and bursted into laughter. “You’re joking.”
“Does it look like I’m joking?” Mia asked, looking serious.
How can I R@PE my own best friend? I can’t even confess to her and someone is daring me to R@PE her. My best friend? My childhood friend? Someone who has a great future? Never. I can’t even hurt a fly.
“I’ll pass that. Truth.” I declined.
“Sorry, you’ve already pick dare and you can’t change it.” Mia smirked.
I shook my head “I can’t do that and why are you saying this? Monica is your sister, because of her, you’re going to an expensive school, having a lot of friends…”
“Those friends are using me to get close to her and I don’t care of what ever she has done, I want a good life by ruining her.” Mia said.
“I have no time for this nonsense, I’m gonna tell Monica what type of maniac sister she has.” I said as I wanted to leave the room.
Mia grabbed my hand “You’re not going anywhere till you agree with the dare.”
I gritted my teeth angrily as I pinned the Taser on her neck and it electrified her till she fall.
I don’t care whether she’s a girl, no one messes with my best friend.
I held the door knob to open.
MIA’S POV
No! Teddy! Whether you like it or not, you’ll ruin your best friend life for me.
I stood up weakly, still feeling shocked, with my phone “Leave that room and you’ll meet your dear sister R@PED and dead in her bedroom.”
Teddy stopped and turned to me “What did you say?”
TEDDY’S POV
“Evelyn is kidnapped by Justin, some goons are with her right now and they’re going R@PED her and murder her and there’s nothing that can happen to us.” She smirked, looking crazy.
She showed me the video of Evelyn tied up and wounded “Help! Help me! This guys are scary! Someone help me!!” She cried.
I clenched my fist angrily “Evelyn!!” I grabbed Mia’s hair and she cried.
“Argh! Let me go!” She cried.
“Leave my sister and Monica alone.” I threatened.
Mia laughed evilly “You have to choose, your sister or Monica!”
Monica is my best friend, I love her, I don’t want to hurt her. I can’t even hurt a fly but my sister, I love her too, I’ve vowed already to protect her. I don’t know what to do.
I know what to do, I lied that I’ll R@PE Monica, then Mia will release Evelyn, I’ll call the police, tell Monica everything then everyone is safe after arresting that lunatic sister.
I released Mia’s hair “I agree to the dare.”
Mia grinned happily “Really?”
I nodded “Yeah.”
“Smart boy, everything will happen during the prom party tomorrow, so get ready to lose your virginity.” Mia mocked as she walked out of the room.
I brought out my phone and called 911.
911 ? Hello, how may I help you?
Teddy? Hello 911, there’s been a… Ow!
Something hit me on my head and I collapsed and black out.
MIA’S POV
I smirked as I walked in with my tranquilizer that I used to shoot Teddy in the head.
I looked at the passed out guy lying lifeless on the floor.
Smart guy, but I’m smarter.
The boys walked in and carried Teddy, we went to his house and left him on his couch.
I put a letter on his head and left his mansion and drove off.
*THE NEXT MORNING*
TEDDY’S POV
I woke up feeling dizzy and headache. I remember what happened last night or is it just a dream?
“Evelyn? Evelyn!” I called but she didn’t reply.
My parents were out of town since last week.
I saw a paper on the couch and I checked it. Please let it be a dream.
? It’s not a dream, do what I asked you to do or your sister will be dead before tomorrow, and if you tell anyone about this, consider your sister R@PED. Love Mia ?
I squeezed the paper and threw it away. I don’t even know what to do. I noticed they’ve took my phone. Good thing I have another one.
I went inside my bedroom and took my phone, it’s just 1% and called 911 but it’s not available.
I don’t even know what to do, I called again and started weeping bitterly, pacing around.
“Come on, pick up pick up!” I cried feeling stressed.
-Hello 911, how may we help you?-
“Hello, please, at night, come to the…”
The phone hung up and died. “Argh!” I threw the phone angrily and lay on the bed.
*LATER THAT NIGHT**A ABANDONED HOUSE CLOSE TO BIANCA’S MANSION*
MIA’S POV
I groaned loudly expecting Teddy to arrive but he’s not here yet. I was already in my black outfit, holding the gas mask.
I can’t dial his number because I have his phone with me. I swear if he didn’t come, I’ll kill this girl.
I entered the room where I kept the poor 12 years old girl, tied up, bleeding and tired.
“Please, let me go.” She cried “Don’t kill me, I’m begging you.”
I pouted as I bend down “It’s okay baby, if your big brother do what I told him to do, then I’ll let you go.”
“Hey baby.” Justin walked in and we kissed passionately.
“What did my brother to do?” Evelyn asked.
I pulled away “None of your business.”
“Where’s Teddy?“ Justin whispered.
“I hope he’s on his way because killing this girl does nothing to my life.” I whispered back.
“Are you sure we should ruin Monica’s…?”
“Shut up, I’m way better than Monica.” I cut him off.
“I’m here.” Teddy walked in, with his eyes red are dark cycles, looking depressed.
I smirked “Perfect.”
I approached him and gave him the black outfit and gas mask with voice manipulator.
Two guys entered with the same outfit.
“I give you two minutes.” I said and all of us left Teddy in the room with his sister.
TEDDY’S POV
After those wicked souls were gone, I dropped the clothes and hugged my sister tightly.
“Why are they treating me like this? Who are they? What did they want?” Evelyn cried.
“I’m so sorry, I really don’t know. I’m sorry.” I sobbed as I kissed her head.
“Did they touch you?” I asked.
She shook her head “No, but they beat me.”
Thank God but she looks miserable and I don’t want her to be R@PED or killed, neither Monica. But I’m so sorry, Monica.
But in every situation, family comes first. I know I’m going to face the consequences but I can do anything to protect my sister.
I stood up and wore the gas mask and sighed.
*AFTER THE R@PE INCIDENT**MIDNIGHT*
I entered my bedroom, threw the gas mask on the floor and sat on my bed.
Evelyn was released after that and was admitted to hospital. I couldn’t bear to see her so I left there.
I was a little relived that Evelyn is okay but what about Monica? I’m so sorry.

Next day at school, I kept avoiding Monica, Bianca, my parents, my sister, everyone. I don’t know how to approach anyone.
Because what’s going on inside me is unbearable, the only thing I could think of is hide the truth and try my best to make it up to Monica before she finds out.

Few weeks later, I was strolling at the dangerous bridge when I saw a figure standing on the rail.
I saw that it’s Monica trying to commit suicide. I
“Noooo!!!!” I screamed as I quickly rushed to her and saved her.
“Are you crazy?!! Are you insane?!!! Is something…?!!! Why?!!!!” I panicked.
“Why did you save me?” She asked.
I scoffed, is she serious? Just die because of this cruel world?
“Why?!! Seriously?!! I can’t just watch my own best friend committing a very dangerous suicide. What about the people who love you?” I sobbed.
She slapped him angrily,as if she knows that I deserve it,more than that.
“Who love me!!! Everyone h@tës me!!! I h@të me!!! You could have just let me die!! I want to die!! I don’t wanna live this cruel life anymore!!!!” She cried bitterly while hitting my chest angrily.
I didn’t stop her because I deserve more than that, she hit me, slapped me, punched me but I didn’t care. I’ve ruined her.
I hugged her tightly, she struggled to let go till became calm, still crying.
Monica sniffed “I h@të my life! I just h@të my life! I don’t wanna live.”
I h@të my life too, more than that. But she has more reason to live.
“Please, don’t say that again. Please. You don’t know who still cares about you. Don’t lose your life. Don’t leave me, I love you.” I cried.
That’s not what I’m supposed to say.
She pulled away, frowning “Huh?”
What have I done?
I rubbed my neck nervously “I… Um… It’s a slip of tongue. I’m sor…”
“Stay away from me!” She yelled as she left me alone.
Tears started dropping from my eyes controllable as I glanced at the bridge. I wish I could kill myself but I need to fix someone’s life before that.
*Few months later*
I kept looking for Monica but I couldn’t find her, I asked her parents and that evil witch but they said she left home. I know they’re lying.
I searched everywhere for her, endlessly but I couldn’t find her.
I started drinking, smoking, getting arrested to punish myself for destroying someone’s life. I don’t just know what to do.
