Jocelyn gasped and moved back, straight behind Eddie. “Adam? What are you doing here!” She yelled.
“Easy angel. Easy.” Eddie said softly, touching her hands which was gripping his shirt tightly from behind.
Adam clapped, moving closer. “I never knew it has gotten to the extent of spending time in her room. What a sweet moment.”
Eddie stepped forward. “She doesn’t want you here. So you have to leave.”
Adam scoffed and laughed. “Excuse you? That lady over there is my bride! You will be the one to leave this room right now!”
“Get out of my room Adam or I will call the police and report you of trespassing.” Jocelyn shouted, sticking her head out of a corner from Eddie’s back.
Adam glanced at her. “You will do no such thing, Jocelyn. I’m your husband to be!”
“I don’t want to get married to you! Why is it so hard to understand, you moron!”
Adam laughed. “Because there’s nothing to understand my love. You are mine. Mine alone.”
Eddie moved closer to him. “Get out of this room, Mr Man. You are trespassing.”
Adam scoffed. He lost his cool and punched Eddie right in the face.
Jocelyn gasped loudly and covered her mouth with her hands.
Eddie’s face turned to the side as blood dropped out of his nose.
Slowly he turned back to look at Adam and smiled. “Is that all you’ve got? Throw in some more of that jelly punches.”
Adam blinked and lowered his hand while Jocelyn rushed forward.
She quickly took a face wipe and touched Eddie’s face with it. “You are bleeding.” She said worriedly.
“I’m fine.” Eddie replied, still glaring at Adam.
“I will be back for you.” Adam said, pointing at Eddie. He turned and vacated the room.
“Stop right there you beast!” Jocelyn yelled, trying to run after him but was held back by Eddie.
“Let me go after him and get him arrested. He can’t come here and attack you then go free!”
Eddie shook his head and held her close. “Let him go for now. I will make sure he pays later.”
“Why did you allow him hit you? You could have hit him back. Oh gosh…. look at that.” Jocelyn mumbled as she wiped the flesh blood streaming down with the wipe.
Eddie sighed and sat down while Jocelyn helped clean the blood in his nose. “Thanks.” He mumbled, looking at her.
“You don’t have to thank me. I should be thanking you Eddie. You took this punch for me.”
“You are worth it.” Eddie mumbled, looking at her.
Jocelyn smiled and touched his nose.
“Ouch!” Eddie groused and Jocelyn laughed.
“Does it hurt that much? And there you were…. asking for more punch.”
“I will go downstairs and check the atmosphere.” Eddie said. He pecked her and left the room.
Jocelyn sighed and laid on her bed, still thinking about her parents.
Dianne’s parents were also divorced. She stays with her dad three streets away.
Now she would know how Dianne felt when it happened to her too. The thought brought back tears into Jocelyn’s eyes and she sobbed quietly.

When Eddie came back into the room, Jocelyn had akrasl slept off. He breathed in a sigh of relief and walked closer to her.
He lifted her up and dressed her properly for her sleep. He laid beside her and gathered her into his arms.
He thought about Adam and wondered why he was being persistent over Jocelyn.
Does he really love her that much? Why couldn’t he just understand the simple term that the girl doesn’t want him?
He would have to do something about him. Eddie thought and closed his eyes too.

Jocelyn woke up to the sound of her door, closing. She raised her head and saw Eddie coming into the room with her breakfast on a bed table.
She smiled and sat up, looking at him as he approached.
“Good morning angel. How was the night?” Eddie asked.
He placed the bed table over Jocelyn’s laps and pecked at her forehead.
“It was great. All thanks to you Eddie. I don’t know what I would have done without you. I would have been a nervous wreck by now if not for you. Thank you for taking…..”
“Shhh…” Eddie whispered, placing his index finger over her lips..
Jocelyn smiled as she clamped her mouth shut.
“Just eat. I made it for you.” Eddie replied and Jocelyn gasped softly, staring down at the delicious dish.
“You really made this? That means you sure do Know how to cook, huh? I’ve found out one of your charms yet again today.” Jocelyn said as she picked up her fork.
Eddie smiled and watched her eat. “We are going to the hospital from here together. I hope you are free this morning?”
Jocelyn quickly nodded. “Yeah.”
“I didn’t see your parents around. Are they out? I would have loved to see your dad.” Eddie suddenly asked and Jocelyn looked at him.
“I guess they are out to process their divorce stuff.” She sighed and replied.
“Don’t think about it.”Eddie whispered and Jocelyn nodded.
After she was done eating, Eddie helped her out of bed and saw her to the bathroom. He waited outside while Jocelyn proceeded to take her bath. She suddenly stopped at the entrance and turned to look at him. “Come with me.”
Eddie’s eyes widened. “Why?”
“Let’s bath together. Please don’t say no.” Jocelyn said with big pleading eyes.
Eddie looked nervously around and finally shrugged.
He took off his dark pants and followed her into the bathroom.
Jocelyn turned on the shower and slowly removed her towel while Eddie stood and watched.
He must confess. She’s got a great body but he tried everything possible not to get aroused by what his sight was beholding.
He couldn’t help it. He felt a jolt in his groin when she turned around to grab his shoulders, pulling him under the shower.
The two bath together, scrubbed each other’s body and had fun throwing soap foams at each other before finally returning to the room.
“That was so childish.” Eddie laughed as he pulled out his new pants from his carry all canvas.
“But lovely.” Jocelyn replied with an eye roll. She walked to her wardrobe and threw it open to select a dress.
“Wow. Your wardrobe looks like a house itself. Are you planning on opening a bouquet?” Eddie giggled. He couldn’t believe how wide and stuffed her wardrobe was and her shoe section was a fancy to behold.
“A girl’s gotta have all the things she needs.” Jocelyn whispered.
Eddie watched her and realized he has fallen deeper in love with Jocelyn over the night.
